Nice bit of Spanglish to start the new thread!

Unfortunately I can’t find a way to link to the spreadsheet so I would be very grateful if someone could do that for me.

I'm away at my DB and SIL's right so haven’t had a chance to catch up with the week 7 thread, but hope everyone has been doing well, KOKOing and therefore seeing good results on the scales, with their clothes and/or with the tape measure.

—And before @StuntNun dobs me in I will confess to having fallen into pizza and fish and chips this weekend—

Just take care of yourself Iris. Your omelette sounds lovely.

KondoKonvert · 03/12/2019 23:54

Decided to do my measurements this evening to keep the motivation up! It's been a nice NSV.

I've lost 1" from my waist, 2" from my hips, 0.5" from each upper thigh and my upper arms and 1" off my bust. Although the scales haven't moved drastically (rate of ~1lb per week), it's nice to see a tangible change in my appearance.

DownUdderer · 04/12/2019 02:10

I’ve had a low carb breakfast. I’m planning eggs for lunch.

moleeye · 04/12/2019 06:40

Feeling fed up

Weighed myself this morning (2 days early) and I've put on a lb. I've stuck to this 100%, no snacks and been doing IF.

My clothes feel looser and my stomach is definitely flatter but what is up with the scales.

Not going to let it deter me and will see what they say on Friday.

TMI alert- it doesn't help since I had the baby I can only poo every 3/4 days so I'm hoping that's partly to do with it!

ShagMeRiggins · 04/12/2019 07:57

moleeye this is why daily weighing isn’t necessarily recommended. Weight loss has massive fluctuations on a daily basis and when the scales go up, for whatever reason, it can be disheartening.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

As for pooing, are you taking anything to help?

moleeye · 04/12/2019 08:19

@ShagMeRiggins I'm actually kicking myself as I know better! Gaaaaaah

I haven't been taking anything as I was hoping it would sort itself out with all the water etc. But I'm off to Boots this morning to get something!

BIWI · 04/12/2019 08:26

@moleeye

Don't be downhearted! If your clothes are fitting better and your stomach is flatter then it's definitely working, whatever your scales are telling you Smile

Don't worry about a reduced frequency of going to the loo - this often happens. You're only constipated if you're having problems going, or are in pain. In the meantime, keep your fat levels up (or increase them if you can) and make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

BUT

There's a real Bootcamp red flag for me whenever I see someone saying they've stuck to the plan 100% Grin. Because that often means that actually there's been a transgression or two along the way.

So.

List out for me what you've been eating over the last 3-4 days, as well as what you've been drinking, and let me see if there's anything I can help you with.

Sorry, as if that wasn't long enough...
I've had a square of 70% dark choc on 3 of those days

And I've been toilet this morning. Hurrah!

ShagMeRiggins · 04/12/2019 13:43

And I've been toilet this morning. Hurrah!*

Grin
BIWI · 04/12/2019 13:58

@moleeye your menus look good! And you're drinking plenty of water which is also great.

You're not on the spreadsheet, though, so I don't know how much you have to lose?

And I seem to remember that you did lose a lot at the beginning - so it's not surprising that things have slowed down a bit.

As you've also been to the toilet, perhaps the scales will be kinder to you tomorrow? Grin

I would, if I were you, just KOKO and be patient. Remember, the weight didn't all pile on straight away so it's not going to disappear straight away!

Good news here, mouth ulcers nearly gone!

So food for today:
B - two boiled eggs and a Finn crisp with thick layer of butter and cheese
L - chicken soup with added cream plus slices of brie on the side
D - roast chicken with broccoli and cauliflower cheese

Nice NSV kondokonvert. Hope you feel better soon iris

moleeye · 04/12/2019 17:02

Thanks @BIWI I was worried maybe too much cheese or not enough fat. Good to know I'm on the right track 😊

I think I'm just impatient, but you're right I should focus on the slow and steady approach. Better off than on!

I've been lazy with the spreadsheet, will go do it now.

L- buttery scrambled eggs with a sprinkling of cheese and watercress salad
D-Thai prawn curry (made my own paste) with bean sprouts and green beans in it. Mange tout fried in butter on the side. Oh and a bit of cauliflower rice

2 coffees
4.5L of water

Nonononon · 04/12/2019 17:20

Food today

L: mushroom and red peppers fried in butter with some bacon, two eggs on top with some parmesan then baked in the oven.
D: roast pork, courgette and tomato curry with buttery roast cauliflower. Chicken thigh and some cheese.

moleeye · 04/12/2019 17:28

Cannot figure out how to add my name to the spreadsheet, it's saying view only (hangs head in shame)

Could somebody kindly fill in some details for me? I only found this thread when everyone was on week 3 so I'm a bit behind.

Moleeye
Started 01.11.2019

BIWI · 04/12/2019 17:37

You need the very lovely @AthelstaneTheUnready to help you out there, @moleeye! I'm sure she'll be along shortly

Looking at those stats you are, indeed, being very impatient!!! You've done brilliantly. Step back and get a bit of perspective Grin

Thank you!

You're right, I need to calm down 😂

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/12/2019 18:34

You're on, Moleeye! Just shout if I have your weeks wrong. Cracking results Grin

KondoKonvert · 04/12/2019 18:35

Thanks @LittleSwede! Glad to hear your mouth is on the mend. I had hand foot and mouth a few years ago and the mouth ulcers were miserable.

moleeye · 04/12/2019 18:36

Thank you thank you @AthelstaneTheUnready

Now to try and update it on Friday after weigh in!

absopugginglutely · 04/12/2019 19:55

Hi all,
Just checking in:

I had THE busiest day out of the house starting with taking DD to ballet then straight to a cafe to meet her little friend then straight to soft play to meet her other little friend.
It got to four o clock and I realised I'd only had 2.5 litres water and 2 cream coffees so I drove to Sainsbs and bought a box of chicken satay sticks and some Leerdamer slices.

I'm not hungry at all now so it's just going to be a silly day!

I need one more litre before bed but I'll have 2 peppermint teas.

venusandmars · 04/12/2019 23:21

B - avocado and cheese
L - scrambled egg, crispy bacon
D - roast chicken, fried cabbage, shallot, spinach with cream and blue cheese

TamingToddler · 05/12/2019 08:28

I've finally had a 'whoosh' this morning after staying the same for weeks and weeks. I actually drank the right amount of water yesterday (don't beat me) so putting it down to that. Over half a stone off this bootcamp which is amazing seeing as I'm not 4 and a half lbs away from target. Could stand to lose another stone really but I've just ordered lots of size 10 clothing so going to try and stay the same over Christmas.
Our parcel got stolen outside our front door so we got given an £80 ASOS voucher, which is amazing seeing as we are skint and new clothes seemed like something I wouldn't be able to afford. No guilt either because it was a voucher for a clothing store I couldn't buy for my son Grin

bingenomore · 05/12/2019 10:11

Moleeye you’re food looks amazing ! Just hang on in there and there’ll be a whoosh .
I was 160 this morning . 3lbs off this week - I’ve been very good with water drinking and IF ing . I’ve got a skiing trip in a couple of weeks time and in the past the weight has just piled back on - despite 5-6 hours of exercise a day - so unfair !
Well done on losses everyone
