Morning campers! Flowers

Here's the spreadsheet

Sounds like a bit of a mixed week, so hopefully the scales (or tape measure!) have been kind to you, otherwise @MrsTerryPratchett is going to need a bigger patio!

Sorry to hear about the surgery @Sittingonthesidelines, but glad all is well. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

And hope that your surgery went well @NigellaAwesome

So we're in the last three weeks - still time to lose a good chunk of fat. But only, of course, if you stick to the rules ... Grin

Good luck to everyone.

Good morning all. I am here, hoping to find the wagon...

Breakfasts this week for me are yoghurt and strawberries
Lunches will be a slice of crustless quiche
Dinners will be either cheesy creamy chicken and veg or chilli and veg.

Notwatchingtvtoday · 01/07/2019 08:12

Morning
I’m down a pound from last week, I weigh daily, and was lower on Saturday morning but have decided to log today’s weight.
So I am half a stone off from start of boot camp and am also heading in the right direction, thank you again Biwi for this thread.

Doilooklikeatourist · 01/07/2019 08:12

Stayed the same , which is a relief as had a day of carbs on Friday which I expected to show as a gain this morning

Notwatchingtvtoday · 01/07/2019 08:14

sittingonthesidelines hope your Ds is better and home soon.

Today
B Greek yogurt and coffee with butter
L Salmon, coleslaw
D leftover roast beef, coleslaw, salad with dressing, avocado etc

ShagMeRiggins · 01/07/2019 08:18

Stayed the same. Looked for inspiration so checked my percentage weight loss, which was 2.15% then remembered I had recently changed my starting weight from 236 (which was my highest ever before I starting bootcamp) to 195.2 (which was my start of this bootcamp).

I did this because I wanted to see the lbs progress for this bootcamp only, but clearly sacrificed seeing my awesome percentage.

Anyway, this is an unclear and long-winded way of @BIWI and @AthelstaneTheUnready if it’s possible for the spreadsheet to track both—overall loss over many bootcamp and loss from just the current bootcamp.

Or would that turn it from the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness to the Behemoth of Fabulousness?

Just a thought.

Almahart · 01/07/2019 08:35

STS though I did go down a ib during the week.

No surprise there after my Friday night.

Onwards - still committed and determined to shift at least 3ibs by the end of BC, in fact I think I can do 5 if I am very careful

Boring though it is I might start logging everything here for accountability

So morning was coffee with some milk as out of soya (am not at all hungry)

Lunch will be a cheese salad and dinner a salad nicoise

chocolateavocado99 · 01/07/2019 09:02

Been away from BC for a few weeks after some really distressing experiences, where food was not a priority. Mostly sticking to plan, though so feel good about that. Had a read of last weeks thread and am committed to moving forward now.

I am currently in the UK staying with in laws for a month. They are very much in the low fat zone, so will need to shop for essentials asap. No scale in the house , so will have to find an alternative. Will reread the LC food ideas list posted and stock up today. I am ridiculously excited to go food shopping!

Survived a roast dinner last night - lamb, cauliflower mash and the dcs cherry toms only. Wasn't even tempted by all the other stuff - although did have 2 glasses of wine.

Well done to everyone who has lost this week!Smile

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 01/07/2019 09:11

Damn it, I've gained a pound! Must've been that crisp or possibly all the booze I washed it down with.

Never mind, I shall KOKO!

18pagesfrontandback · 01/07/2019 09:17

Morning campers. Need to catch up with the weekend’s thread. But first wanted to log my weight even though I’m now officially a Friday weigher. Only because it’s good obviously Grin

So Fri was 163lb and moaning my arse off about it. Then Sat I weighed and had dropped a pound to 162. Was delighted but sceptical. But delighted. But sceptical. Had a relaxed weekend including a bottle of red, and this morning I’m 162.2lb. Though when doing the dance of the scales I did see it briefly flicker on 161.8 but it didn’t settle. The fucker.

So, I’m logging this week’s weight again as 162.2 and am going to repeat what I did last week. Fasting during day but with couple of creamy coffees, then evening meal. All the fat and all the water. Seems to be working for me, my tum feels so much flatter and less bloated and it’s easy to do in this weather. So while the sun shines... burn fat make hay.

Rayna37 · 01/07/2019 09:46

I've just made myself a lovely spreadsheet and plonked it on my desktop with the title WATER WATER WATER! In an ideal world there'd be an app that worked exactly as I want it to but making do with a DIY spreadsheet. Yesterday had a small science experiment in my kitchen to measure the volume of my water bottles, mugs etc and so logging away merrily.
500ml stainless steel water bottles, mugs of chamomile at 250ml, 200ml for glasses of water at home, and will make sure I get my 2 litres in before I leave work (or know exactly how much I must have in the evening). Might add something in that counts caffeinated tea/coffee as a max of 500ml (two mugs) but to be fair I'd rarely have more than two before the end of the working day so probably no need.
-what a nerd-

VeryLittleOwl · 01/07/2019 09:46

Lost 4lbs! Before I get too cock-a-hoop, half of that is simply losing the 2 I put on last week after my planned off-plan dinner out and they each took a friend with them when they left, so over a fortnight it's 2lbs down.

Now 10st 12lbs, 2lbs away from getting into the normal BMI band, and all my size 12 dresses zip up :)

tootstastic · 01/07/2019 09:56

Morning all

A teeny tiny loss for me of 0.2lbs (7lbs this BC)

Starting weight: 18st 10lbs (262lbs)
Weight now: 13st 11.7lbs (193.7lbs)
Lost so far: 4st 12.3lbs (68.3lbs)
Target: 9st 5lbs (131lbs)
Left to lose: 4st 6.7lbs (62.7lbs)

ChippingInLowCarbing · 01/07/2019 10:08

Morning (only just I have been up since 5!)

I lost my grip on last eeejs thread again I need more hours in the day

Scales up this past few days (only 109.5 instead I’d 108.5 kg so not loads, but flickers of both 107.5 AND 112.5) no idea why I have been very very good despite really REALLY wanting other food & drink. Blood sugars pretty stable but not in the ‘normal’ Range with this monitor which is demotivating. Knee still awful. I could moan for England today so I’ll shut up now. Looking forward to everyone’s updates (hope the show is going well Greebol

1stMrsF · 01/07/2019 10:31

Morning campers. Another lb down based on Friday's weight which tips me into 7lbs for this BC. I know I could be doing better/losing faster if I was sticking more closely to the rules, BUT also pleased that I'm KOKO to the extent that I am and that things are going in the right direction. Have been better (although not perfect) and planning and water, which were my goals this week and have planned this week very carefully. Off to fill up water bottle...

Fingers crossed for lots of victories this week and have a good one.

NigellaAwesome · 01/07/2019 10:42

Morning all. 5 pounds off for me this week, bringing my total to 21 this boot camp.

I should be pleased, but actually I am really annoyed with myself that I got to that weight at all. I had got to 197 pounds last September and was so pleased with myself, then major and continuing work stress happened and I comfort ate myself to an additional 2 stone. Angry

I am 2 pounds off being in the 100s, and 5 pounds off being where I was last September. I think once I get to that stage any further weight loss will be 'proper' loss. I somehow have attributed the weight I put on as belonging to my bully IYSWIM? I suppose I should frame this as being empowering that I am almost rid of it.

venusandmars · 01/07/2019 11:20

On hols, so not weighing, but posting so I can keep up with everyone's progress (and recipes).

Not found it too hard so far, yesterday had a seafood dish and they replaced the rice with extra veg. Made a mistake putting 'whipped butter' on my cheese and spinach Omlette and discovering with the first mouthful that it was sweetened. Not a good combination!

NSV: wearing holiday clothes which I last wore in December. One and a half (almost two) bootcamps on and they are noticeably looser. Feels good to feel the progress.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 01/07/2019 11:24

Good morning, thanks for the new thread @BIWI

1.4lb off for me, so down to 144.4lb and 1.4lb off my next mini target of 143lb (which will be a stone off since the end of Easter).

Breakfast: almond flour cream cheese pancakes with a splosh of cream and a few raspberries, creamy coffee

Lunch: lo-dough wrap with pulled pork, salad and coleslaw

Dinner: not sure yet, something involving FLGV. Have several portions of the celeriac tartiflette left so maybe some of that.

Have a good day and great week everyone.

MrsBertBibby · 01/07/2019 11:58

Place marking. Keep on trucking.

tootstastic · 01/07/2019 12:34

I feel for you @NigellaAwesome, I've lost and put back on the same weight so many times, usually triggered by stressful events/situations, it's extremely frustrating.

I think we just have to relish how shit it feels and vow to never experience that again. We can do this!

Youwanapizzame · 01/07/2019 12:56

Hi everyone! 1lb on here which considering I fell way off the wagon over the weekend is a miracle.

Back on plan today and I am wearing a red dress to work today that wouldn't have even zipped up before bootcamp. So that's my inspo for staying with it... koko

B - forgot
L- lots of salad and salami/cheese
D - leftover bbq....

1Wildheartsease · 01/07/2019 12:58

Weight up not down this week.

Scales still behaving oddly so not totally reliable but my measurements have stayed the same.

Reasons why I might be stuck
-My losses tend to be in steps not regular.
-Work and travel have made drinking water and exercise more difficult. (2 more weeks to go on this.)
-I've stuck to LCHF eating but probably not high enough in veg (so portions of other things might be too high?) and have stuck to having wine at the weekend. (No change there but a little wicked - I know.)

I will try to do better by next Mon :)

ChippingInLowCarbing · 01/07/2019 13:14

nigella 5 this week and 21 this BC IS awesome🌷 but I totally understand what you mean about ‘real weight’

I started this BC st 112.3 I was 108.8 last week and 109.5 today. I’m not really bothered by the 108.8 to 109.5 as my scales are proper little bastards that I don’t really trust and just as likely to read 297 or 110 tomorrow but I’m down from 112 but to me it’s not areal loss’ as I was 293 a few months ago so I’m just ‘getting back to that’

Neither of us are thinking logically really, but it is what it is.

Sorry to hear about your work stress/bullying (don’t ‘lose weight’ as we are conditioned to find what we lose! Give it away willingly (to your bully it’s quite cathartic! 🌷

I sat down a few minutes ago to have a think about what I can do to make this ‘start working sgain’ as it feels like it’s not right now...

It actually I realised that ALL I need to do is KOKO & not jump off the wagon! Yes it feels like it’s not working and I’m currently not really seeing any benefits, but it doesn’t mean umm it getting any and in a couple of weeks time I will be lighter than I am now even if it’s not the pounds you and others experience

I’m not doing anything wrong I just need to keep found the same thing *@keepingThe Faith & @KOKO 🙄🤣

Heartyhooker · 01/07/2019 13:32

Was feeling quite despondent last week, but reading back masthead helped as I realised scales jumping all over place is probably heat related fluid retention. Literally read thread looked down at my puffy feet and went oh! Lots of NSVs if no actual weight loss. Lost another half an inch off my under busy measurement and am in smaller jeans. Also survived manning cake stall at school fete. Helped my fellow low carber, so we swapped recipes whilst encouraging every one else to eat.
KOKO. mentally I 'm at the point where I usually fall off the wagon but feeling very motivated to carry on

prettybird · 01/07/2019 13:33

Well, all the wine last weekend (away at friends) and this weekend (dh's 60th) has taken its toll and I'm up a pound and a quarter Sad

But onwards and downwards. Smile Just need to stay extra focussed. Grin

I will make my goal of a normal BMI by Christmas Xmas Smile

Water, water, water Grin

I nearly had one of those "Fuck-it Whale" moments on Friday when I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror in a shop Sad. Then I remembered my own lectures to others Wink, stood up straighter and reminded myself what I see (which is coloured by the disjoint between where I am now and where I'd like to be) is not what others see Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/07/2019 13:49

I might need the space under the patio myself! I put on three pounds in one day!!! How is that possible? Well I think I know. Stupid hippy crisps were lying. They weren't low carb hence the gain and the IBS. Don't trust farm shop, local 'Keto' nonsense.
