Morning all

Hopefully there will be some losses to record on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness but please don't be disheartened if you didn't lose (or even see a small gain.

Weeks 3 & 4 are notorious for this. Your body is getting used to the new regime, but if you stick to it, then you should see things get moving again from next week.

If you are struggling, make sure that you are following Bootcamp rules to the letter; consider whether or not dairy is an issue for you - and if you've moved to Bootcamp Light then perhaps consider going back to Bootcamp for another week or so?

Whatever the case, don't develop a case of the fuckits and jump head first into the biscuits. That's the only way to guarantee that you will gain weight!

It's not in many shops blockbuster. But I found it €1 each earlier in BC, and can't find it since.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 03/06/2019 20:48

I got mine on Ocado, although it seems much smaller than normal...

I used to buy celeriac rice which made a nice change from cauliflower rice - it suddenly disappeared from the shops without trace Sad

BIWI · 03/06/2019 20:56

There are some lovely celeriac recipes on the Bootcamp recipe thread, by the way!

One of my favourites is celeriac Boulanger. A bit like a dauphinoise, but made with chicken stock rather than cream.

OP posts:
MrsBertBibby · 03/06/2019 21:08

Or veg stock for veggies!

I have the last bit of my latest celeriac boulangere warming up now. Great with a fried egg on top,

MrsBertBibby · 03/06/2019 21:11

Celeriac soup is also fab. Sweat couple of shallots, chopped celeriac and a sliced leek, then simmer in veg stock for 30 mins (I add bay leaves). Whizz with a stick thing, season (I like white pepper) and yum it up.

I got it from a proper recipe which added a pesto of walnut or something drizzled on top, but I've never got as far as that.

Aha, River Cottage

Omit the spud when low carbing, obvs.

Rshard · 03/06/2019 21:31

Beautiful flowers greebol

Really fancying some celeriac dauphinois now! Will add one to this week’s shop. I used to get that celeriac rice wayoftheworld, also disappointed when it disappeared!

IStillMissBlockbuster · 03/06/2019 21:33

Thanks everyone, I must take the plunge!

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/06/2019 21:39

I think he said they were delphiniums, IStillMissBlockbuster. Never seen flowers that colour before.

Back from holiday and a planned deviation form the WOE resulted in a 3.5lb gain. Not too horrified , just jumping back on plan. A tricky day though as not done any food shopping. School lunch was dubious sausages or chickpea curry so that was a lose-lose situation and I struggled with water too, then very random mix of foods for dinner including a leek frittata to use up fridge scraps! Lunch tomorrow is lamb mince curry which I'll have with salad and I think I'll do sausages and stir fry cabbage for dinner so hopefully a better day. I think I also have a celeriac so perhaps a gratin or mash too...

Well done on all the loses and KOKO'ing.

Grimbles · 03/06/2019 21:51

Hello all. I was a regular on here until just over a year ago when I found out that I was pregnant.

DD has now been born and I now have about 20lbs to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

These threads were such a great way to keep on track so I'd like to come back please Grin

Todays food:

Lunch: prawns in chili and garlic oil, salad leaves
Snack: pork scratchings 3 chorizo and cheese rollitos
Dinner: sausages, leeks and mushrooms in a mustard and cider sauce (sauce was 5.1g carb per serving, and I had less than a serving)

I have a celeriac in the fridge, I may make hash browns with it for tomorrow. Grin

BIWI · 03/06/2019 22:03

Welcome back @Grimbles, and congratulations! Flowers

Thank you Smile I will weigh-in tomorrow.

Ive been doing a lot of walking since she was born. Pushing a pram is surprisingly good exercise!

MrsKoala · 03/06/2019 22:46

Hi All. Is it too late to join?

NigellaAwesome · 03/06/2019 22:51

Well, I knew that I would have a crap weigh in after the coffee cake incident. 218.7, but I am still 5 lbs down from when I started (which was a week into boot camp), so I suppose it's not all bad.

I can only do one more week of bootcamp, and then I have to start a pre-surgery diet from next weekend. It is thoroughly joyless, and I have spent quite a bit of time negotiating with the dietician. It is high protein, low fat and low sugar. Lots of low fat yoghurts and scrapings of low fat spread on toast . The dietician says I need to have some carb to protect the protein Confused - I have managed to negotiate replacing a small potato with some celeriac #smallvictories. All of the menu suggestions seem so high in processed food, and I have been reviewing all of them and have written 'NO!' beside most of them.

Goodbye mayonnaise Sad. Goodbye frying pan Sad Sad. Hello steamer Hmm

Anyway, today:
B: Coffee & almond milk
L: Cold roast pork, radish, and tomatoes with roasted fennel & mayo dressing.
Sn: Greek yoghurt & creme fraiche & 4 strawberries. Another coffee
D: Homemade Turkey burger and fried cabbage

Water - better than it has been.

starsky22 · 03/06/2019 22:57

Welcome mrskoala not too late at all, just jump in! Have a ready of the spreadsheet in the first post for the rules and lots of helpful info

Hey grimbles welcome back and congrats on the baby!

So I've put on 4lbs! I know I've been off-track a couple of times this week, but wasn't expecting that! I'm feeling bloated, so think it might be water retention, have drunk tons of water today and will see what the scales say tomorrow. Was planning a very strict bootcamp week, until DH came home with a bottle of champage to celebrate, so had a very small glass with him, but no more alcohol for the rest of the week! There I've said it, I'll have to stick to it now!

MrsTerryPratchett · 03/06/2019 23:05

Yay @MrsKoala you were my spreadsheet buddy last time! Nice to see you.

NigellaAwesome · 03/06/2019 23:12

Hi Grimbles well done on the baby!

Hi MrsKoala - now I'm confused, as I thought another name changer was you - they mentioned previously being a furry marsupial. Confused

re celeriacs - Sainsburys seem to have loads on reduced price - I bought a couple the other day at 20p each.

RightYesButNo · 04/06/2019 01:59

Hey all - I wanted to check in. I’m officially out. I started having some health problems in week one but they’ve become more serious. I have an abdominal ultrasound scheduled this Wednesday and it’s looking like my gallbladder is just being a total wanker. As they say in French, the language of romance, je suis shitting mon pantalons, at the idea I might need another surgery. I avoid them like the plague because I have terrible veins - after last surgery, I woke up and they’d had to put three lines in me, including one in my neck and one SEWN into my wrist. I’m still not over it. So. I’m not able to follow boot camp rules at all as I’m barely able to eat half a yogurt at the moment, and have a never-ending “stomach” ache. Hopefully I’ll be sorted before the next boot camp and can jump back on then! You all seem so great and so supportive and I wish everyone luck. And thanks for running this, BIWI!

MrsTerryPratchett · 04/06/2019 03:16

That's shit @RightYesButNo

Look after yourself. Thanks

TheWayOfTheWorld · 04/06/2019 06:01

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal - I see from that other thread (that I just posted on incorrectly!) that you are in StA - I also recommended the OP to come here

@RightYesButNo - good luck with the ultrasound, the line situation sounds rotten Thanks

Rshard · 04/06/2019 06:46

Welcome back mrskoala and grimbles.

I also thought a hint about a furry marsupial from another poster was you!

Congratulations on the baby!

Beat of luck rightyeanobut

Youwanapizzame · 04/06/2019 06:51

@rightyesbutno. [Flowers] you poor thing that sounds awful. Hope you're feeling better soon x

MumbleLumble · 04/06/2019 07:06

Good luck rightyesbutno.

I've started weighing daily. I can't seem to help myself. Im another 0.2lb down today. Only 1.6lb to go until I've lost a stone. I really hope I can achieve it this week!

Almahart · 04/06/2019 07:41

Sorry to hear that RightYesButNo Flowers
