Low Carb Bootcamp - the end of the line!

Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness, waiting for the results from your Scales of Truth!

Hopefully the final weigh-in is a good one for you all.

Although this is the end of this Bootcamp, it's not the end of the chat - so not the end of support, advice and general chit chattery!

So don't despair if you haven't reached your target. Keep going and reporting in here. The Big Stick will be rested in the cupboard for a while, but you can keep checking in here.

Oooh I love Greece! Stunning islands.

And yes the boobs. I can get a hand inside my bras with them but don't want to spend lots on new ones as I'm still losing weight. Argh. Might have to give in as boobs are definitely not 34 EE anymore. I think I'm back to a 32. How long can I hold off? I might wait until I hit 10 st 6 (2-3 weeks off). Face wise, I'm 37 but have a while until my face is gaunt. Don't think I'm going to be that thin.

Doilooklikeatourist · 04/04/2019 08:05

Had a good couple of days and I’m back in the 10 s
Definitely lose weight from face and boobs first here too
Needs to lose some off my enormous bum and thighs now please
Tried some sit ups / stomach crunches yesterday .. and I just can’t do them will have another go today
Love the pork recipe MrsKoala ( and the Greek holiday plans , only been to Kos , loved the beautiful scenery , I had no idea you could actually see the other islands #dimwit )
I’m adding spinach to everything at the moment , bit of butter , spinach in pan , add cream and tons of black pepper
Athelstane my sis gave up smoking ( after smoking for about 40 years ) and she’s saved so much money ( she’s already nice and slim though , so she’s getting her house painted ) definitely get some new clothes 👍

SummerSazz · 04/04/2019 12:09

Well done to the Between Bootcampers - sounds like most of us have reigned it back in!

Well done @Doilooklikeatourist for back in the 10's - that's my aim.

Have lost 5 of the 6 added over the last week so hoping for that to be gone by tomorrow before I head off on holiday. Wales is looking slightly less warm than Greece but I am headed to Greece for a cruise in June so that's my bikini aim

SummerSazz · 04/04/2019 12:10

Oh, and what has helped me get massively back on track is water, water, water

Don't forget it ladies..... 💦

Siameasy · 04/04/2019 13:08

I love water (sparkling here) Summer but I hate trying to find a loo!!

All this gym action has made me hungry! 3 meals today for the first time in months. All Bootcamp friendly-Wagamamas do a beef tataki 😍

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 14:23

Love the pork recipe, MrsK, I wish I were that smooth in the kitchen .

Summer and DoILook, not much cash saved from not smoking! A £13 packet of tobacco would last me over a month. Still enough to wreck my lungs though. Siameasy, too many 'new' clothes to count... Blush I may have gone a bit demented. Blush In my defence, I haven't bought anything for - literally - years, and so what I do have is getting a bit tatty. Not a good look for the office.

Good reminder on the water, I have been lax there. Lost another lb of the gain .

ShagMeRiggins · 04/04/2019 15:02

@AthelstaneTheUnready, I can’t get into the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness. Access Denied.

Is it just me?

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 15:21

hmmmm... will take a look

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 15:23

might be just you - I can see a couple of other people are on there. are you using the link at the top of the thread, or going through a previously used tab?

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 15:24

does this work for you

ShagMeRiggins · 04/04/2019 15:32

Link at top of thread. Didn’t work. Also the new link didn’t work.

It’s just me!!!SadWink

Siameasy · 04/04/2019 15:54

I’ve never been able to get on the spreadsheet and I’m a techno phobe🤷‍♀️

Athelstane do you just buy off eBay and it fits? I’ve never bought clothing online but I went shopping earlier and was really disappointed so I may try.

Doilooklikeatourist · 04/04/2019 16:15

Summer we had snow in my part of Wales this morning
All gone now though

MarmaladeTeepee · 04/04/2019 16:33

I've really had to battle the carb cravings today. Due on so weight loss has stalled (I normally gain before I come on) and just want to dive into a vat of chocolate. Managed to resist so far, but I've been doing a lot of cheese snacking today to compensate so I can't imagine the scales will thank me tomorrow.

Well done Summer on getting back into the 10s. That's my ultimate aim so you're currently my inspiration Grin. Oh and I need to get back on track with the water too so thanks for that reminder.

m0therofdragons · 04/04/2019 16:43

Well I'm pretty sure hot cross buns aren't low carb Blush however the plus side is I've had one and not four. I won't have my planned Brie snack in the vague hope it'll balance out!

I have had stir fried beef and veg for lunch and dinner is different stir fried veg with salmon on a bed of spinach. I also have a run planned this evening. It's very wet though...

Doilooklikeatourist · 04/04/2019 18:46

Athelstane for me The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness only goes up to March 25th , I’m unable to update my weight gain of shame

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 20:24

Garn, Shag, try again!! Have fiddled with... something.

Doilook, yes, I only did it up to the end of bootcamp. If you want I can extend the weeks though? And less of the 'shame'. You did something - you knew the consequences - you decided it was probably worth it . Next time you might not. Lifestyle, not prison, remember?

Siameasy, no, that does sound rather adventurous. I only look for and buy from a specific brand so I know how their sizes come up/how they tend to cut the styles. I wouldn't dare try it with a brand I wasn't familiar with, based on experience in actual shops trying on, e.g. size 6 trousers with a size 18 top looking at you M&S

Marmalade, the week before TOM is terrible for me. I could eat vats and vats and troughs and buckets of food, preferably with a family sized pork pie as a garnish. So big Star for kicking off on cheese instead.

SummerSazz · 04/04/2019 20:26

@MarmaladeTeepee - currently at 11.1 so not quite back in the 10's. Possibly tomorrow although sedentary work day today. I'll try to make it back there to be your inspiration Grin. Oh I did manage Pilates with some cardio interspersed this morning so not too lazy.

16:8 again today - tuna mayo salad with some nuts and seeds sprinkled on, yog, cream and raspberries and prawn stir fry on lettuce.

I've failed to update the spreadsheet for the final week as can't access from my phone. I'll try and update later on the laptop to keep me reportable.....

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 20:26

M0ther Shock [sink]

Quite right though - don't chase the carbs with added fat, that's a disaster. Keep it lower fat than normal for the rest of the day.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 04/04/2019 20:27

hah!

sorry Blush

that was supposed to be Shock and [ wink ] Wink

Clearly I don't wish you to sink.

ShagMeRiggins · 04/04/2019 21:24

Athelstane I can see it but as View Only in the Veg section. No tabs.

Listen, it’s not urgent anyway. Don’t go to any trouble. And cheers for all the technofaff you do on our behalf.

Doilooklikeatourist · 05/04/2019 06:44

Athelstane don’t worry about the extra dates on the spread sheet , it’s easy to just weigh in on here
I need to see it written somewhere , and here is fine

I’ve copied the rules out and keep it in notes on my iPad ( I think someone recommended that weeks back , and it does make them easier to find )

Thanks for all the techno stuff , I have no idea how to do anything like that ( I just ask my son, he’s a computer science grad , very useful )

Planning aubergine something for dinner , Friday night is veggie night

SummerSazz · 05/04/2019 07:04

Still at 11.1 overnight so that's my holiday start weight. Have done Pilates with some cardio (3.5 mins Plank - yay!) and am taking swimming and running gear so I'll check in every day to try and keep on the straight and narrow

1stMrsF · 05/04/2019 08:42

Making satisfactory progress to BB weight goal despite creeping back to wine most days. We are staying with my DSis while our house is being decorated. It's been longer than we planned as these things often are, and it's easy to do sociable drinking when she gets home from work. Decided to aim for something more achievable next week rather than 'no drinking' and the giving up on the whole week at the first glass.

I'm on school holidays now so have to think about what to feed me and the DDs for lunch Shock everyday. Would love your ideas or just posting meals if anyone can be bothered (thanks to those who are already doing it) - it gives me inspiration. Made it easy yesterday by going to Ikea to pick up some new things for their rooms, incorporating meatballs!

Siameasy · 05/04/2019 19:30
