Morning all.

Here, hopefully, is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness Let's just hope this one works Smile

So we have three weeks left. Still time to see a good loss before our final weigh-in. This weather, I think, makes it all easier - so much easier to choose a salad when it's hot. And barbecues are perfect for low carbing (if you're a meat eater, of course!)

We had a barbecue yesterday and we had:

home-made chilli burgers (12% fat organic mince, chopped shallot, chopped red chilli, dried oregano and salt and pepper, whizzed up in the processor to combine). I had mine without the bun, obviously!

chicken thighs, skin-on, that had been marinated in a spice mix (ground cumin, ground coriander, ground ginger, turmeric, chilli powder, oregano, salt and pepper, all mixed in with olive oil and fresh lime juice to make a paste that was then rubbed all over the chicken)

coconut cod** - a lovely recipe I found in one of my barbecue books. Fish marinated in coconut cream, that had been infused with lime, garlic, ginger, shallot and lime juice - bring all that to the boil and simmer for around 10 minutes; cool and then use as a marinade for the fish, which you then cook on the barbecue in a foil parcel.

And sausages. Because you can't have a barbecue without sausages!

Anyway, plenty left over, so I'm taking chicken and sausages to work for my lunch.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Great to hear about your ideal blood pressure, @chocchip88!

Good morning fellow BCers! I've attached a graph of my weight from the last bootcamp to show the peaks and troughs over the weeks. I'm a daily weigher, because I find it keeps me on track, but I know that's not for everyone. As long as the scales are heading in the downward direction overall, it keeps me motivated. If you have a stall or a slight gain, don't sabotage it by thinking fuck it. It will continue to drop if you stick with it. Have a great day.

I meant to add I love food and actually it’s a bit of a pain permanently wanting more food. It was at is peak when I was breastfeeding oddly then I lost weight when it stopped. My appetite has recently gone out of control again. It Happens in fits and starts and recently I’ve found I’m constantly snacking and wanting carbs. I would love to just feel satiated and was actually recommend to try low carb by gynaecologist for hormone issues but dismissed it as a bit faddy. I am a bit of an emotional eater too so this will obviously have to be managed by something other than diet.

The though of pouring additional fat on my food fills me with fear but it’s annoying feeling hungry and having an increase appetite all the time. I also have eczema and dry skin so the vanity side of me is keen to see if it has any effects.

Would be v keen to hear if anyone has had mood improvement on this diet.

Phew sorry 😐 it would be great to join and I’ll try and keep posts positive - about to read the food lists as I understand there is a specific diet to follow for the first two weeks.

Pls can I still have dark chocolate ???
