As several people look like they're reaching or soon reaching their target, I thought it would be a good idea to start a maintenance thread.

I know lots of people are worried about how they're going to maintain, so having a support thread for ideas and suggestions sounds like it's going to be important!

Diving in here, currently 3 and a bit lbs from goal and so not going to join the next bootcamp, just going to keep going as strictly as I can manage to try to get there and maybe up to 5lbs more off. I know I won't commit to 2 weeks of strict BC or 8 weeks of light without too many deviations. However, would be good to keep sharing meal ideas, supermarket finds and restaurant successes plus support whenever we do need a few stricter days to balance wilder times!

I'll jump back in!

I've soooo lost my cooking mojo since starting LCHF last sept. Oh and I rely far too much on cured meat and cheese. But I'm the slimmest I've ever been GrinGrin

I’ve also got just a few pounds to lose - approx 7lb. All from my stomach though as I’m a typical apple! I will join in the Bootcamp chatter and have a month of strictness to see if I can shift a bit more. Smile

I've made a nice discovery for maintenance: stumbled across a low carb bread in Waitrose. At 14.6g per 100g it's a similar level of carbs to pulses so worth keeping in the freezer as something you might be able to have a couple of times a week. It's called LivLife and the slices are v small, so 3.8g carbs per slice. As a comparison the regular loaf of wholemeal bread in my freezer has 45.4g carbs per 100.

I found some pasta substitute. It is soya bean spagetti from Aldi. They say 50g is a portion but I had about 70g and had bolognese on top. It cooks in about 3 mins and does not expand like spagetti but once bolognese sauce on top I could not really tell difference.
