I know we only have another day or so before the next thread, but the last one was almost full!

Well done!

I've got a small gain. Not worried through as it's likely to be period water gain.

158.6

Good luck everyone!

Frigglet · 16/10/2017 06:18

Morning all!! Hey Harlot, I was mindecti look out for your loss 😀 and your early report has meant I won’t miss it. Well done you!!

And well done meee!! I’ve lost 9lbs too!! 😀😀😀 Im totally staggered and motivated to go on. The very strange thing for me is that with it being Boot Camp, I expected it to be soooo much harder, so I got it in my head that I couldn’t be doing it right. I do should have done this a long time ago.

Good luck to all weighing in today.

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 06:20

Would someone be able to add mine onto the spreadsheet, please? I can't make it work on my tablet.

HarlotsWeb · 16/10/2017 06:22

I was looking out for yours, too, frigglet! Well done! I am relieved for both of us, though I hope we would have weathered it if it had gone the other way.

Bad luck holge, but I really admire your equanimity about it. Bloody periods.

Rshard · 16/10/2017 06:27

Congratulations on those losses, harlots and frigglet!

Damn periods holger

wecantallbeperfect · 16/10/2017 06:37

I can't believe it-I've lost 5.7 lbs well done to everyone! Last week was a struggle at times but it was obviously worth it.

Thank you @BIWI for all your hard work Smile. I am feeling really positive about the rest of bootcamp, I'm back in the 10s - haven't seen that for a while Grin

OuaisMaisBon · 16/10/2017 06:39

Very Ilove and NOMORE - may I join the Grumpy Old Women club, please, I went up to uni in 1974 as a slender young thing and will be 62 next birthday (hopefully not as obese as wot I am today!)Grin I love this, vying to be the oldest rather than the youngest Grin)

Veryflummoxed · 16/10/2017 06:48

Yes you can Quais, it’s lovely to have you. But I’m still secondGrin

Fantastic losses already. Well done. And Holger you’re right. It will go.

Flisspaps · 16/10/2017 06:54

Down to 188.4 so 5.2lbs off.

I’ll take that gladly after a weekend where I didn’t have total control over my food!

EmilyAlice · 16/10/2017 06:55

Long-term happy low-carber (born 1949 😀) popping in to say what an fascinating discussion about food. Like othere I was brought up on plain food with no snacks and no sweets apart from a shared bar of chocolate on Sundays. We had our children in the seventies and they got a rather worthy wholefood diet as we were a bit hippyish.
Interestingly my mum did seem to know about carbs as she would lose weight by giving up bread and potatoes. She did eat Ryvita as a replacement though.

TheMonkeysOnTheTable · 16/10/2017 07:00

3lb off. I feel my drinking over the weekend must have had an affect so I will be more sensible next week. I'm happy with 3lb though!
Well done to everyone.

ChinchillaFur · 16/10/2017 07:13

I have got 1lb off. Might not seem like much but I don't have that much to lose, AF is here, I'm on BC lite, plus this wasn't week 1 for me. If I lose 1lb every week for 10 weeks I'll be back to my perfect ideal weight. Well done to those with huge losses - the end of week 1 weigh in is my favourite! Grin KOKO

cafeaulaitpourvous · 16/10/2017 07:14

6lb off

Confused
HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 07:16

Same here Chinchilla - it's not my first week either, so I've had my initial whoosh already. A pound is still a pound!

Well done everyone! See, we told you it would work! Grin

Hello, posting for the first time here. I've done LC before, but not HF, so am trying that out now. Like PP, I don't have much to lose at the moment - about 8 pounds at the beginnng of last week, and so am doing BC (very!) Lite. A 3 pound loss this week, but I expect the final 5 to be quite hard going. I have a twin sister who is probably a further stone lighter than me, but I don't need to lose that much - I like having a few curves!

Great tips from Biwi and others on this thread, much appreciated. Good luck all.

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 07:27

Hello happy new thread!

Thank you as always BIWI, for running this.

It's a lovey day here, early morning is such a nice time on a day like this. Something I really like about this WOE is the way it helps to regulate my moods. From a physiological perspective as well as from a mental one, I feel so much better in myself when I keep my blood sugars on an even keel.

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 07:27

Oh oops, wrong thread! I'll repost.

BIWI · 16/10/2017 07:28

@HolgerDanske you're not posting on the new thread! Grin
