I agree with everyone else you don't look like a size 22 SayrraT. My guess is there was a mistake or bridal dresses are vanity sizes and brodesmaidressss the reverse all to make the bride feel good!

lisbapalea · 06/09/2017 11:54

Sayrra I agree with everyone else that you do not look like a 22 in that pic (or in the others you have posted previously). I do also remember that wedding and bridesmaid dresses do always seem to come up small, and that dress doesn't seem to be living up to the measurements you posted so I definitely feel like the shop are trying to blame you for their cock up. Glad you have agreed with the bride to wait until the new year before making any more decisions.

I weighed myself this morning and was, as I suspected, 13st. The lowest I got to when I first LC'd was just under 12st (highest was 14st), and earlier this year when I was half heartedly giving LCing a go I was just under 12st 7lb so my stupid summer of stress and fat-inducing anti-d's has made me gain more than half a stone. Grrrr. Bet it's going to be a lot harder to lose than it was to gain!

I am now so determined to get below 12st by December - that's 1-2lb a week as an average so is hopefully realistic. Ideally I want to get to 11st 7lb so if I could get anywhere near that it would be amazing!

I haven't been this focused for a long time, and am trying to be as strict with my own bootcamp rules as I can be, so have ditched my usual breakfast of yogurt and berries as I think I was getting wayward with portion control of both the yog and the berries; I have been ignoring the call of nuts (again, I am crap at restricting nuts to just 5 or 6 almonds, and can easily polish off a pack of watrose salted pecans in a day), and haven't even been having the after dinner 90% choc treat. Really want to stick to this for two weeks before going a bit more BC light after that!

So today's plan:

B - poached egg, avocado, two slices of salami, coffee
L - will be tuna salad
D - will be leftover roast chicken from yesterday with broccoli and buttery cabbage, plus maybe a chipolata or two

I definitely feel different, mentally, and also physically. Even though it's only been two and half days I feel less bloated and more conscious / mindful of my eating. Really want this to work!!

KOKO everyone!

OldBooks · 06/09/2017 12:23

Quick rant: the same mother who wanted to join me in the woe at the start of the holiday just brought a huge selection of fresh pastries and cakes and was all huffy when I didn't have any. To avoid temptation I had greek yog with cream and some dark choc instead and that got snide comments. I was a carby twat at the weekend but the last few days of the holiday I am determined to get back into the woe. Get thee behind me, carbs!

OldBooks · 06/09/2017 12:31

Oh ilove I have the same line down my belly, I assumed it was from muscle separation during pregnancy?

SayrraT · 06/09/2017 12:39

I'm always amazed at how quickly I feel good on this woe lisbapalea.

Well done on resisting OldBooks

wotabastard · 06/09/2017 12:45

@OldBooks that smells like sabotage if she got all huffy! So annoying when people get funny about others declining junk/booze. Maybe makes them look at themselves?
Good on you for saying no. Star

ilovecherries · 06/09/2017 13:27

Hm, it might be OldBooks. My kids are over 20 though and were prem so I didn't get massive. It's a long time since my belly was so small so can't really remember what it looked like before, but there is a def dent. In fact, not to put too fine a point on it, my lower belly looks like an arse. Giving an entirely new meaning to the coy 'front bottom'.

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 06/09/2017 13:29

In fact, that requires an entire new hashtag #MyFrontArseCanPissRightOff.

CiderwithBuda · 06/09/2017 13:36

Grin at hashtag!

I don't think I have any stomach muscles. Just fat. I'm an apple. Extra large Granny Smith.

ragz134 · 06/09/2017 13:52

3 scrambled eggs for breakfast, 3 slices of fried halloumi for lunch and I may attempt fathead pizza again for dinner as I bought the grated mozzarella. I'll have salad with it as today has been devoid of greens thus far!
Must. Drink. More. Water.

Mimosa1 · 06/09/2017 14:43

@sayrra I hope it goes well at the shop. Definitely sounds like something's amiss.

@lisba 12st is my second baby pre-pregnancy weight, so I'm gunning for it too.

@oldbooks well done for resisting temptation!

I -briefly- saw under 85kg today, bringing me officially under my BC start weight in July, but I alas, it's due to eating practically nothing yesterday, as I was in a mad rush getting to my LO's first day of nursery then stayed there for settling in so missed breakfast and lunch. I'd previously have been starving so I'm pleased about this woe means one stays fuller longer -especially as I can't imagine mornings getting any less chaotic for a while!- I've bought Splenda, cream cheese , butter and almond flour, so all set to make the mini cheesecakes posted earlier in the thread. Will report back!

Giraffeski · 06/09/2017 15:07

Does anyone have a particularly fabulous water bottle they'd like to share with me? I bought a glass one as I was fed up of tasting plasticky water but its an annoying one that you have to unscrew the lid and drink from like a glass so not ideal for on the go.
Im only on about 1,5 litres today, not as bad as I used to be before this WOE but definitely not enough!
Had bulletproof coffee for breakfast, as recently I've been feeling a bit nauseous at the thought of food in the mornings- then cauliflower cheese for lunch. Not sure what's for tea as DH is out, but maybe sausages and a Greek salad.

C4pinkwheels · 06/09/2017 15:26

Sayrra looking at that dress as a dressmaker it is quite an odd shape for a European female form. We tend to have broader shoulders and a bigger upper body with larger breasts.
Looking at your photograph the dress fits your hips and waist but it goes wrong in the upper body, it's not you it's the shape of the dress. The shop should know the sizing inside out and should have advised you accordingly.

I will also echo what everyone else is saying, by the time the wedding comes round you will be having the dress taken in.

prettybird · 06/09/2017 15:30

What about a bottle like this http://www.prettymaison.co.uk/tap-water-glass-water-bottle ? Not a sippy top but the closing can be unclip with one hand.

Grimbles · 06/09/2017 16:15

Is the whole dress mtm or is it an off the shelf one designed to be taken in or out a bit?

As C4 says, it fits around the waist and hips, it's just the bust. It would be very odd if your bust increased massively in size alone, so it must be the dress that's wrong.

SayrraT · 06/09/2017 17:03

Thanks c4

grimbles it's made to order...not sure if that's exactly the same as m2m as such.

This is it from the front.

StuntNun · 06/09/2017 17:33

That's a lovely dress Sayrra, a good motivating factor for you.

ilovecherries · 06/09/2017 17:45

It actually looks as if it's not got enough fabric in the bust, so it's pulling material from the back to accommodate your boobs. And I doubt very much that your breasts have suddenly got bigger. As someone with humongous norks it's a problem I have all the time, and I need things to have a full bust adjustment unless the material is very stretchy. I think there is something wrong with the dress.

ragz134 · 06/09/2017 18:18

Fathead dough worked perfectly with the grated mozzarella. That did add carbs though, but only about 5g. Plus sauce, maybe another 5g. Still a VLC day though, so I'm happy with that. Half left for lunch tomorrow :)
sayrraT definitely the bust causing problems there, not sure you can do much about that? Nice dress though, and you're definitely nowhere near a 22!

MOIST · 06/09/2017 18:50

Sayrra. You look proper lovely. Really.

I have submitted the bastard essay! Presentation tomorrow. Then beauteous holiday on Friday.

I will be back on it properly when I return. I like this woe. It is good.

MOIST · 06/09/2017 18:52

DD back to college tomorrow and then small amputation when I get back from hols do stressors buggering off one by one.

Grimbles · 06/09/2017 19:03

I've just made some fathead too Shock it's amazing!

Giraffeski · 06/09/2017 21:03

Thanks Prettybird, I think I want something a bit more portable that I can put in my bag without it leaking really but am tempted by that one to keep in the fridge!. I've found a Contigo one which is one handed on Amazon which I've added to my basket and now wondering whether to check out.

Grimbles · 06/09/2017 21:03

B. Bacon and mushrooms
L. Ham, cheese and olives. Miso soup
S. Pork scratchings
D. Fathead pizza, halloumi, salad leaves

Drinks: 2 creamy coffees, 2 normal coffees with splash of semi-skimmed milk, 3 x .75l water with another on the go.

BIWI · 06/09/2017 21:34

B - none (still missing out breakfast)
L - scrambled eggs (2) with cheese, 2 squares of 90% chocolate (finishing up the last of the stuff in my desk drawer!)
D - kedgeree, made with butter and olive oil, cauliflower 'rice', onion, a few peas - for colour as much as anything - tikka masala paste, undyed smoked haddock, hard boiled eggs and fresh coriander. Totally yum!

Not as SS as I'd have liked it to be, but a totally enjoyable day.
