Nsv... my size 14 cropped trousers now do up and I can breathe still. Feel like I have lost more on waist and boobs than tum and bum so cant wait for them to catch up a bit. Waiting for some new clothes from debenhams sale too. This is quite exciting but weirdly I feel more fat which is probably because I am thinking about weight more. Very flobbery though.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 27/07/2017 11:56

Flobbery? Grin

Great job Plymouth and bibs.

I cannot wait to fit a size 14 nicely.

starsky22 · 27/07/2017 13:50

Well done bibs

My scales have been showing a pound up all week, so I'm feeling a bit disheartened, wish I wasnt so affected by the number on the scales.

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 27/07/2017 15:20

starsky22 Body has filled the half empty fat cells with water. Give the body change to burn out the last bit of fat and have a whoosh when they empy.
Ranging between 205.6 and 211.1 this week myself, average in the morning is 207 -8 since whoosh Monday night. before supper is lowest and after supper, pint+ of water and Tea with a bowl or 2 of Chili, Curry, Soup adds on about 3.5lb. :)

Yes, I weigh many times a day and look at lowest weight of week is my weight anything above is just in processing. Unless I eat some Humanicide treat of course.

Have a great day and lots of fun out there.

ilovecherries · 27/07/2017 15:49

Been reflecting on other positive things that have happened over the last 10 weeks as the scales are stubbornly refusing to give up the last half pound that will take me under 14 stone and give me a 20 lb loss Grin

Haven't taken Omeprazole for 8 weeks - only realised this when I got the alert to refill the prescription and realised the previous one was still in my drawer.

IBS vastly improved - this wasn't immediate and in fact I would say for the first month it got worse, then suddenly got better

Night sweats - haven't had any for at least 6 weeks. Hot flushes during the day are about the same, but at least I can sleep. Which brings me onto...

Sleep! Lots of it, no snoring Blush, no insomnia

ragz134 · 27/07/2017 16:58

Plymouth I feel fat too, as you say it is more awareness I think. I have to keep looking at my before photo and reminding myself how I fat I WAS! But clothes don't fit how I want them to...
New low weight though today which is nice. I'm lightest in over 4 years!

wombattoo · 27/07/2017 17:49

Hello everyone.
I'm loving the positivity on the thread and some great nsv.
ilove I felt sad reading you post about how you were feeling before bc, and I am so pleased that you stuck with it. What a great result you have achieved Thanks

porridgetits · 27/07/2017 18:14

Hi, been lurking and reading all the bootcamp threads - just wondering whether you will be starting another after this one is finished, and could I join? Been attempting this WOE for a while but slow going; be good to have some motivation!

ASDismynormality · 27/07/2017 18:26

porridgetits. I don't think the next bootcamp will start until October but there will still be a thread running until then so now is a perfectly good time to start. Good luck.

Veryflummoxed · 27/07/2017 18:36

Lunch was sprouts with butter and grated cheese on followed by FF yogurt

Dinner. Meatballs. Fried mushrooms. Sprouts and green beans lots of butter.

ragz134 · 27/07/2017 18:56

Lunch - protein roll with cheese and marmite.
Snack - chili peanuts
Dinner - courgette, greens, cauliflower and bacon, stir fried with cheese sauce.

BIWI · 27/07/2017 19:06

@porridgetits (you'll have to change that name if you're low carbing Grin) I won't start the next one until towards the end of October - but jump in here. We'll keep this thread going, and will continue to have chat threads, until then

B: fasting
L: slice of leftover pork belly, scrambled eggs and spinach
D: fish tacos (I used lettuce rather than tacos), with avocado and salsa
S : none so far but off to pub. I'll have fizzy water, but if they have cream, I might have a coffee as well.

Mimosa1 · 27/07/2017 20:25

Hi everyone,

Difficult day for me today alone with a poorly DD and a young baby but soldiered on and did not hit the biscuits, no small thanks to this thread!

Annoyingly, I didna summer salad from Chilango yesterday that I thought was BC friendly but had loads of carrots in it Confused

I've ordered ketostix online, and would love to hear of people's experience with them, and if they otherwise "know" somehow they are in ketosis? Does it feel different?

One thing I'm massively struggling with is giving up the Diet Coke. I find i still crave something sweet after a meal, etc and it hits that spot. Very hard to give up!!! So far it's not impinged on weight loss but still, I know it's not good for me.

oldbooks glad to hear your toddler is better and C4 that doll you made is stunning! porridgetits I just joined myself a few days ago and it's been great. Learning a lot and gearing up for the new bootcamp.

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 27/07/2017 20:27

Hi porridgetits

Welcome to the crappy flu and the keto itch and stalling and the weeing and there something else....

Oh yea great weight loss, change of eating habits and new found love for porridgetits

Hope you have fun getting the info from the spreadsheet at the top of each page and get lots of help with any questions or feelings your having about this WOE.

Day 1 starts Saturday morning.. Bacon Eggs, Sausages BPC..

wombattoo · 27/07/2017 21:02

Welcome porridge
mimosa Keto sticks are pretty much a waste of money. If you are drinking the amount of water that you should be, it will dilute the ketones and not really show up. There are others who have used them though. If you are low carb, and only getting carbs through veg - you can be fairly sure that you will get into ketosis. Some people can tell by a change in their breath, such as bad breath or a metallic taste in your mouth.

OldBooks · 27/07/2017 21:12

Just now I was talking about my day with DH and saying how excited I am that I went without eating last night because of being in hospital with DD and then today I had hardly any breakfast then had an epic meeting and couldn't have lunch till 2 and I wasn't dizzy or chewing off my own arm etc.

DH paused and said deadpan "I think we are saving money because you are eating so much less"

Not sure if I should laugh or be offended!!

MOIST · 27/07/2017 21:23

Namaste Bitches.

Good day today. Good food. Choir. Roller derby. Flooded with endorphins and will have trouble walking tomorrow. I'm too old and fat for derby but it's huge fun.

delftblue · 27/07/2017 21:29

Hello everyone (i was dust before if my name confuses anyone)

Sorry for dropping out of the thread. I ended up having a bad week of binging and couldn't face coming here. Partly exhaustion and partly feeling ashamed.

I've now stopped and am back with it. I've moved out of the very stressful environmemt I was in. In the process of unpacking I'm chucking out loads of crap which has been cluttering my life up and stressing me out. I have a family member helping me out care wise. So I'm all ready to get strict again and get some weight off. The last 3 months have been v tough and I'm amazed I stuck with eating healthily as much as I did but I don't want to finish the year at this weight.

My other change is I'm finally looking at seeing a specialist in lipoedema. I've been scared I have it for a long time and if I do it would explain why I really struggle to lose all that much weight past a certain point. I've never thought my weight loss corresponds with what I eat unless I am completely 100% strict and perfect at diets and so this would really explain it. I think it's quite classic if you have lipoedema to tip over into binging because there is so much frustration over diets not working and so i hope a diagnosis will help that aspect of life too.

If i do have it I can have something called tumescent liposuction so there are treatment options. We'll see what happens when i visit the doctor. It's still possible I don't have it but I think I do.

So sorry for disappearing but glad to be back. Looks like you're all doing really well. Love the dress jiminny

OldBooks · 27/07/2017 21:38

Welcome back delft. Glad to hear your living situation has improved. Please don't feel ashamed of bingeing, come and talk to us and we can support you through.

ilovecherries · 27/07/2017 21:41

Welcome back, Delft. Hope things start to improve for you now.

starsky22 · 27/07/2017 21:53

Welcome back Delft, good to hear you are moving and hope all goes well at the doctors.

Thanks Grah I'm going to try not to worry about the ups and downs on the scales as long as the trend is downwards!

Today:
B ham and cheese roll ups
L salmon and asparagus frittata
D indian spiced lamb steak with saag paneer

Dinner was sooo good and DH didn't come home for dinner, so I get to have his share for lunch tomorrow! Result!

Kleptronic · 27/07/2017 22:38

Hiya Delft!

I've been starving hungry today (AF imminent) so I just ate a baked camembert with half a cauliflower and now I am not hungry. At all. And never will be again. Smile

ilovecherries · 27/07/2017 22:40

Survived pub - awash with fizzy water. Think I had 1.5 litres which was over and above requirements. Will no doubt be peeing all night. Why does not drinking piss everyone off so much?Angry

secretsignal · 27/07/2017 22:56

Glad you're back delft, you were missed. Many of us have gone off piste a bit when times are tough, don't feel bad. IMO the real strength is in trying again. Hope things start to improve for you now Flowers
