I know! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Wink

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation!

Remember, week 4 is, like week 3, a time when weight loss tends to be pretty slow, if not non-existent. KOKO and persevere, and things will get going again soon.

But not if you cheat! Whilst many of you have been very honest about your transgressions, just remember that this WOE is not a very forgiving one. It's not like a calorie-controlled diet, where you can compensate for one 'bad' day with a 'good' one. As some of you have already found out the hard way!

Week 4 is also where i discovered the perils of low carb recipe blogs Grin

SO tempting to try all of the "low carb unicorn bread" or whatever when the authors rave about how amazing the recipe is, but I haven't found one yet (apart from flax crackers) that I'd eat regularly through choice! They all tend to be eggy or just bloody wierd (I'm looking at you, coconut bread).

Off out for a longish walk tonight, it's only 3 miles but i havent done this particular route before. My house backs onto a canal tow path that runs through 2 country parks and joins up to a further 4, so there's an endless number of walks off the tow path you can do that start and end at my front door. Problem is, if you dont plan your route correctly you can end up doing an accidental 8-miler because the tow-path only has exits at certain points, a bit like a motorway Hmm I've explored the bits I know I can do circular routes on and manage ok, but I'm feeling fit enough now to start exploring further down river. Now I know if I go wrong I've got the fitness to push through and get myself home, whereas before if i went wrong I could have gotten myself in serious trouble with it being inaccessable and pretty remote. At 3 miles, it's a good daily walking length for the dogs so i have high hopes! Grin

MOIST · 13/06/2017 16:50

I am at work.

I have had

Turkey, celery, cucumber salad stuff

Quick thing. More turkey

Bloody starving. No idea if the restaurant downstairs will have anything.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 13/06/2017 16:51

I know what it mean about some of the weird recipes Jiminny - before I started boot camp I tried some English muffins made with nut butter and coconut flour. Not for me...

TheWayOfTheWorld · 13/06/2017 16:52

where is your fat MOIST?!! Get some cream/olive oil/butter down you!

cabbage67 · 13/06/2017 16:55

Hi all

Whilst we're on the subject of weird tasting things, I've just made my first coconut bread... did anyone else's have a slight green tinge to it??

Also what do you do with it?

Today I have been wanting to pick a lot which I haven't wanted to do before I started this. Its all been LC, but i feel like i haven't stopped picking.

Food today:

B: 8 raspberries with whipped cream
L: smoked mackerel with coleslaw
D: Something with prawns and noodles and half a tin of coconut milk in the fridge. spinach and baby corn
3 litres of water and going for 4
S: 6 hazelnuts and a bite of dark chocolate
2 cups of tea with a smidge of skimmed milk
5 KM run and 4km walk

Have good evening all.

MOIST · 13/06/2017 16:58

I know!

The which tjing veggies and the turkey were all cooked in butter.

MOIST · 13/06/2017 17:01

Nothing bloody fatty here. Bastards. All bloody jacket spuds and rice and bastard muller lights.

Even the sodding cheese is low fat.

Will get coffee and cream from costa

MOIST · 13/06/2017 17:04

Bloody first daft day. Am cross with myself for not planning enough. And | | that close to eating dairy milk.

MOIST · 13/06/2017 17:11

Humph

Naschkatze · 13/06/2017 17:49

Oh Moist that sounds depressing. Is there a supermarket nearby where you can stock up on tasty low carb treats? And cream and butter to eat straight from the packaging.

MOIST · 13/06/2017 17:54

Sadly can't leave the building. But creamy coffee and cheese has avoided cracking into the dairy milk.

Will pack more for tomorrow.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/06/2017 17:55

Aaah I love Costa. I'm having a hungry day today too.

B - eggs & chorizo
L - vintage cheddar and onion burger and salad
D - chicken thigh and salad

day 2 of 30 day shred completed and ran 3 miles.

DH is doing really well on this woe, but he keeps having wobbles about cholesterol as his dad has heart problems & artery problems so he's worried this will make it worse. I keep sending him research links, but he doesn't read them. Ready to bop him round the head!

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/06/2017 17:56

Sorry, DH is worried he will get cholesterol problems like his dad, not that his way of eating will make his dad worse, haha.

styledilemma · 13/06/2017 18:17

Another one who isn't loving the coconut bread.
It turned out too eggy.
I don't like the breakfast muffins either. Too eggy, like an omelette gone wrong.

I wonder if the coconut would be nice if just a smidgen was added to the flaxseed bread recipe?
I feel an experiment coming on Hmm

styledilemma · 13/06/2017 18:22

B - Coconut muffin in a ramekin. 2tspns coconut, 1 egg and some cinnamon, cooked and spread with butter.
I didn't like it, but I ate i anyway, because, well it's food and I'm a pig and will eat anything Grin
L - Meat loaf + swede fries. Once again, tasted disgusting (except for the swede fries) but I still ate it.
D - I have an aubergine with parmesan cheese baking in the oven, which I will have for dinner.

Please please please let this one thing turn out edible today! Smile

styledilemma · 13/06/2017 18:23

I forgot my snacks.

Handful of Macadamia nuts
1 creamy coffee
and
LOTS of water today.

Asmoto · 13/06/2017 18:26

I haven't tried any of the breads, simply because I know I would be tempted to have too much of them - i.e. eat when I am not really hungry.

ragz134 · 13/06/2017 18:53

Lunch - salad, 2 boiled eggs, cheese, mayo and green pesto dressing.
Snack - small handful of pecan nuts.
Dinner - chicken and veg soup (homemade). Haven't eaten it yet, only got home at 6 and decided to make chicken soup as I had stock/carcass in the fridge. Have thickened it with chia seeds.

CodLiverOil556 · 13/06/2017 18:58

So it appears the Germans don't really do creme and the only one I can find is this. It's 42% fat and 2.9g carbs, it'll have to do

I found a thing!

Really missing mint sauce with lamb, but this is mint sauce without the sugar and vinegar added so it's awesome in gravy or for tossing into your veg with butter Grin

B 2 egg Omelet, Bacon Mushrooms
L Bulletproof coffee
D Homemade Chili ( no beans) over Kale, Brussels Sprout salad

Mandelinka · 13/06/2017 19:30

Today was my weigh in day, as expected, I'm back where I was 2 weeks ago. So total loss 3.7 lbs in 3 weeks. I am actually happy about it once I average the loss I've the 3 weeks.
My belly has been so soft and weird so hopefully my fat cells have dissolved and there is a whoosh round the corner.

Mandelinka · 13/06/2017 19:32

I enjoyed reading all the positive posts, well done everybody for KOKO and pulling each other along. Girl power!

HemanOrSheRa · 13/06/2017 19:40

What a looooooong day.

Breakfast - nothing. Not hungry and stupidly thought I'd be back at my desk to eat lunch at lunch time.

Lunch was eventually at 2.30pm when I got home. Egg mayo, salad, avocado, toms, cucumber. Splash of olive oil. Half Lidl protein roll. A smoked mackerel fillet scoffed as soon I as got in.

Dinner - chicken, pesto and mozzarella bake. Courgette, green beans, asparagus sautéed in butter. Other half of protein roll to mop up juices and to stop me doing something rash with leftover pasta Confused.

Water - lost count. At least 2.5 litres.

No snacks but I am going to have some raspberries with cream. I could murder a ripe peach Sad.

AF is due. I feel very peculiar - nauseous, dizzy and fainty (no, I'm not pregnant!). The cravings are strong tonight (and last night!). I'm not giving in though.

ilovecherries · 13/06/2017 19:53

Asmoto, I'm not trying any bread-like things either. Bread has always been a bit of a trigger food for me, so I don't even want to eat anything that looks like/has a similar mouth feel, just in case. And all this talk of fishy-tasting flaxseed is helping me stick to that! Grin
