I don't think that BIWI has managed to post a new thread so I'll do this one.

I don't have the wise words of BIWI so I'll just say that by now you should be more in the swing of lcing so just keep it up and remember, only 1 week until bclite.

Hopefully you all have a successful weigh-in but if not, don't be disheartened. Post for some help and we will do our best.

I wouldn't care, but the pizza is every single pigging week Angry

It's Google, you'd think they'd provide healthy stuff considering their employee wellbeing reputation!

littlebillie · 01/06/2017 12:49

STYLE SW never worked for me, I just keep a handle on all the rules and the syns. I was eating so much more crap than my normal diet and the cravings were terrible. On this I feel well and I have to stop to eat (apart from the BB in the car yesterday). I know SW works for many, but not for me and the membership money can be better spent on something else....

readyforno2 · 01/06/2017 12:57

Ah Ludog that's what I'm hoping for over the next fortnight.

B-ff yog
L-fried eggs, bacon and mushrooms

2l water already but most of that was when I was at the personal trainer
About to make myself a coffee with cream

RedBeanie · 01/06/2017 13:06

I'm a bit worried that I'm going to gain weight eating all this fat :(

I also have high cholesterol and concerned about that.

When did you start to notice changes in your body shape/weight? First few days, week 1/2 etc?

JustRosieHere · 01/06/2017 13:11

I actually find subway not too bad to eat at as they do salad but they are a bit tight with the meat. Although it smells of bread so that can be difficult

ChesterDrawers · 01/06/2017 13:13

Jimminy size 22 to 16 is amazing - well done. Have you come back down to earth yet?

Red you honestly don't need to worry about fat making you fat or giving you high cholesterol. If you're worried do some reading. I started with John Briffa and Escape the Diet Trap which was an easy read given the topic. Some are a bit more heavy but also interesting if you have the brain for that kind of thing.

Yesterday was as bit a of a dairy-fest food-wsie then I ended up drinking two glasses of wine while I battled with DS's make a model of the Taj Mahal not quite, but almost homework. He's 6 FFS, who do the teachers think is going to do it???

Today is looking much better:
B: Eggs, butter, cream
L: Tuna salad, avocado, big glug of olive oil
D: Skin on chicken thighs, veggies in some kind of butter/oil, HM mayo

Almost 2 litres of water down and 9,200 steps already Smile

readyforno2 · 01/06/2017 13:13

Red
It's really difficult to get your head round it. You will lose if you follow the rules.
Can't help with the cholesterol though, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along soon.

readyforno2 · 01/06/2017 13:13

Ah Chester beat me to it!

GetReady · 01/06/2017 13:17

Jiminy - you are awesome! 👊🏻

What Kate Moss said is ALMOST true ("nothing tastes as good as being slim feels..." except, cake, pizza, chocolate and wine... sob, sob, sob)

Oh, delicious evil double cream, I think you're hindering me!!

Lunch was pretty tasty though!!

Week 2 - Pre-summer low carb bootcamp
HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 13:22

Red I've seen changes in a week or so. I took photos of me in my bikini last Tuesday and again this morning. I can see a difference Grin. I will be brave and post pics.

LOOK AWAY OR SCROLL PAST IF YOU ARE OF A NERVOUS DISPOSITION Grin!

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 13:24

Week one - last Tuesday Shock. Hideous belly.

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 13:26

Week two - this morning. Slightly less hideous belly. I am holding myself in and standing as tall as I can on all pics.

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 13:29

Oh. By the way if anyone thinks I am a filthy besom and not changed the bed sheets - I have Grin. And the folded up duvet on the floor is the dog's bed. She is on it in the photos Grin.

WaaWaaWaaa · 01/06/2017 13:33

OMG Heman! You can see that your tummy has lifted! (if you see what I mean! That's amazing in less than a week - Gobsmacked! And you're definitely flatter in the under boobage area! Going to run home and take pics....

PlymouthMaid1 · 01/06/2017 13:39

After watching me devour lunch of a lovely cheesy creamy omelette with avocado and mayo, my OH has begun to ask more questions about my weird diet as he has acknowledged that weight has been lost and shape has changed.

RedBeanie · 01/06/2017 13:40

Wow that's impressive! Thanks for sharing, I appreciate the positive stories, hopefully will keep me on track!

I guess I'll have a blood test done in a couple of months and check my cholesterol, just to be on the safe side.

Veryflummoxed · 01/06/2017 13:41

That is a huge difference Heman.

BIWI · 01/06/2017 13:41

Wow! Brilliant progress @JiminnyCricket and @HemanorSheRa!

Just popping in for a quick skim through again. Have a presentation I'm trying to write for tomorrow and it just won't write itself, so no time to stay and chat Angry

TheWayOfTheWorld · 01/06/2017 14:07

Heman can definitely see the difference!

Jiminny onwards and downwards!

I'm feeling a Hmm today. Have been really sticking to it this week but had a sneaky weigh-in and seem to have put on a lb. I had my period last week so don't think it is that.

Anyhoo, I am sure it will all even out.

B: Greek yoghurt and creamy coffee
L: ham salad with olive oil, mayo and a slice of Leerdammer.
D: TBC

Cherrypi · 01/06/2017 14:07

Afternoon everyone. Happy I've made it past week 1 this time. Went to the cinema and only stole four pieces of popcorn from my children and didn't want more. It's a miracle. In the past I have been to the cinema with my husband to see a film I'm not that bothered about just to eat the popcorn.

Lost half a pound this morning which was even more surprising when my period started this afternoon.

Tried the almond iced coffee. Wasn't keen but definitely improved when I added cream. Thanks for the inspiration everyone.

B: Greek yoghurt and cream coffee
L: Cream cheese pancakes and some avocado iced almond coffee
Snacks: a babybel and 1 litre water
T: gammon and veg. more water

sheepysheep · 01/06/2017 14:09

cleareyes subway is surprisingly low carb friendly! You can have any of the sandwich options served on a big salad rather than bread. Downside is the mayonaise - it's a bit thin so I think it's probably low fat filth...!

jiminy well done, fab! Hope you have a lovely date

heman impressive pictures 👍

style I couldn't agree more re thick and thin drinks! My OH can't understand why I can guzzle hot creamy coffee yet can't drink tea until it's cooled a bit. He laughs when I give him the explanation that tea is "thin"! I too am a prolific tea drinker. I do have just a teaspoon of milk in, if that, just to take the astringency off the tannins. I'm going to get some almond milk from the supermarket later to try but I just can't imagine enjoying tea with it in Hmm

Daisy62 · 01/06/2017 14:09

I am going to a dinner tomorrow, booked before I'd heard of LC, and I chose the only vegetarian option in advance. It's carby... Bruschetta with tomatoes starter, then a pasta dish, tiramisu pudding. Could pass on the pudding, and I will avoid alcohol, but don't want to draw attention by making a fuss about first two courses. What should I do about breakfast and lunch? Usual bootcamp rules, or eat less fat? Worried that fat plus carbs would be worse the just the carbs? It will be quite an active day, with about 10 miles of walking, so at least not sedentary. I know this is bootcamp, so shouldn't be eating carbs... But want to go for damage limitation.

ASDismynormality · 01/06/2017 14:11

Heman. There a really big difference, well done!

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 14:14

Thank you Smile. I thought it may have broken the Internet with the hideous fat belly photos Grin. I'm definitely flatter under my boobs. I was pulling it in as best I could on the week one photos but to be honest it wouldn't go in very much - I don't think there was room in my abdomen IYKWIM and it was very uncomfortable to try.

I'd recommend everyone take photos so you can see your progress. I don't care whether it's fluid, fat or boththat has shifted it shouldn't have been there!

Daisy62 · 01/06/2017 14:35

Well done Heman, that's a very noticeable difference!
