I don't think that BIWI has managed to post a new thread so I'll do this one.

I don't have the wise words of BIWI so I'll just say that by now you should be more in the swing of lcing so just keep it up and remember, only 1 week until bclite.

Hopefully you all have a successful weigh-in but if not, don't be disheartened. Post for some help and we will do our best.

For those who feel a bit sick with too much pork scratchings, I found this brand in Tesco Express and it's all about the crunch (as the name suggests), no surprise fatty blobs, and very satisfying if you're craving a packet of crisps.

Well done all - especially Jiminy - what a result!

Can anybody tell me if coconut milk is ok in coffee sometimes as it is very nice.

Also when you use cream cheese, are you all using the philly types or is there somewhere I don't know about which sells real cream cheese as iIcant find any.

My appetite has definitely decreased which is a wonder as I was always hungry before LCHF woe. Never ate a lot of sweet stuff as was already aware how white carbs affected me so usually had the good brown carbs but even so it's such a difference. My body feels stable and the weight is moving, not dramatically but around 4lbs since we started which is incredible for me.

Thanks

explodingkittens · 01/06/2017 10:51

Jiminny, fab stuff, enjoy date night!

Glad you're feeling better pinkwheels - your determination is just a wee bit inspiring Flowers

Lovely NSV for me too this morning, although not quite spectacular as the size 16 dress! The lovely weather prompted me to drag out a pair of shorts from last year - I bought them for a trip to Italy and they were okish but a bit tight. Put them on this morning - without having to undo the zip or buttons!!! Have actually got to wear a belt with them otherwise they start edging downwards Grin

ASDismynormality · 01/06/2017 11:23

ilovecherries. I have an instant pot and really like it, use it most days.

jiminny. Well done on dropping sizes!

cleareyes. I like those pork scratching too!

I'm trying not go shopping as much as I need to save for our holiday next year, this means my diet is really egg heavy at the moment (eggs twice a day). The weight is dropping off again this week so it has the added benefit of weight loss as well as money saving!

Cookingongas · 01/06/2017 11:24

Day 3 for me and I'm feeling quite rough. Headache and lethargic. Could be completely unrelated to lchf but I'm struggling today.

B- avocado with salt pepper and chilli flakes
Snack - Parma ham
Snack- three teaspoons of cream cheese Blush
Lunch- courgetti carbonara
Tea- I loves mousakka

I'm craving carbs like a demon. Hence the teaspoons of cream cheese. I have been wandering back and forth the fridge to snack on anything I can- avoiding the chocolate I'm hitting the cheese ShockI will keep on.

MOIST · 01/06/2017 11:26

I'm not hungry! Not a bit. Don't even want to eat. Such a thing has never happened to me.
Do I eat lunch or wait until I'm hungry?

ilovecherries · 01/06/2017 11:28

cookingongas, you have my complete sympathy, I felt beyond ghastly last week at this time. Then suddenly it all changed (on day 6, I would say). What helped me at my worse was hot bullion - I think my salts were completely out of whack for a few days. Plus water and fat, of course. Hope you feel better soon.

WaaWaaWaaa · 01/06/2017 11:28

Well done Jimminy! Thats amazing and very inspirational.

Exploding kittens - also Well done. I'm to scared to pull out the shorts I wore on holiday last year (or any of the other things)... Must do soon or I'll be wearing nothing.

C4 - moan away. It sounds like you're having a grim time. Glad you;re feeling a bit better today

Right - scales are already moving in the right direction!!! EEEP! What day do we officially weigh in? Cant wait :)

B - Breakfast egg/bacon muffin
L - Leftover Pork, courgettes, cauli cheese and salad
D - Leftover pork and veg of some sort!

YAAAAAAASSSSS feeling all great and optimistic! I dyed my hair last night and although I think its a bit dark I'm getting a few compliments today in at work! :D

Have a great day y'all

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 11:42

Morning everybody!

Day 11 for me.
B - Total yogurt and a boiled egg.

My tea consumption is creeping back up. I'll have to watch that, as the milk can soon add up. Otherwise I'm still on track.
To the PP who asked if you can have cream in tea. I'm a prolific tea drinker and I think that cream and tea don't go.

Tea is a 'thin(ish), thirst quenching drink and doesn't usually have much 'body to it and therefore needs a weakish, thin liquid to compliment it - Milk.
Whereas coffee is rich and full-bodied and 'thicker' and needs something rich to compliment it - Cream

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 11:44

This is why it drives me nuts when some cafes don't serve cream with coffee. They insist on giving you a jug of milk
Coffee and cream were made for each other Smile

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 11:47

ClearEyes
I will keep my eyes open for those pork scratchings at Tesco Express. Thanks.
The M & S ones made me feel sick, even though they looked and tasted nice. Though I did eat the whole lot which probably wasn't such a good idea Blush
The ones I bought at the pub were disgusting. Like you say, you get huge lumps of unidentifiable, discoloured objects in the packet. Yuck.

ludog · 01/06/2017 11:56

I weighed myself this morning and am finally down to the next stone. Somehow seeing 12 instead of 13 is inspiring me. Also love the idea that each day is day 1! I'm two full weeks in and finding it much easier now that the good habits and routines are in place. 5 lbs down so far Smile

littlebillie · 01/06/2017 11:59

B salmon scrambled eggs and cream in coffee

Lunch King prawns with courgetti with garlic butter

Dinner steak vegetables and Greek yogurt

This is a diet right 😋

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 12:07

Gonna have a stab at making Celeriac, leek and garlic Dauphinois tonight.
I still have half a big celeriac and cream, garlic and cheese, so just need to get leeks.
It should go well with some grilled chicken portions.

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 12:07

littlebillie I know, the best diet ever! Smile

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 12:10

When you think of what they're eating at Slimming World and what we're getting to eat, I know which I'd rather be doing.

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 12:11

Oh and I've dropped another 2 pounds Smile

JiminnyCricket · 01/06/2017 12:14

My office today Angry

That's 36 large papa johns pizzas for 30 people.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 01/06/2017 12:27

Ha ha ha, Jiminy-- the bastards!

(Sorry. I'm about to take the children to Subway SANDWICH shop for lunch, by request, and feel your pain.)

JiminnyCricket · 01/06/2017 12:28

Menu for today:

B: Coconut coffee
L: cully and scully chicken vegetable soup (400g is 10g carb) with shredded Mexican chicken mixed in
D: king prawn stir fry

I'm half way through my lunch and full, torn whether to eat more or not?

ClearEyesFullHearts · 01/06/2017 12:28

And you can always scrape off the toppings and eat just that. Off in a quiet corner, obviously... Grin

JiminnyCricket · 01/06/2017 12:33

Oof, decided to finish the soup and now I'm over full Sad

At least the pizza now smells horrible to me Wink

wombattoo · 01/06/2017 12:36

Great news on the NSV's. Enjoy date night Jim That is an awful lot of pizza they are eating.
