Blimey Kermit you look fabulous in that dress. I would do unspeakable things for a waist like that. Great boobs and arms too!

ShastaBeast · 28/05/2017 13:14

I weighed in today as my official weigh in day and I'm barely a pound down.

Today creamy coffee and pork crackling
Brie and olives with salad
Roast chicken gravy and lots of veg

This is my week's macros which look good but aren't making the scales move much. On the other hand I can feel the difference, my arms, hips, tummy, face and thighs.

What a great sunny day we are having!

Yesterday was ok, I felt little bit low on energy and moved around in slow mo.

Food wise, I think I did well:
B: leftover egg mayo salad, celery sticks, radishes, yellow pepper, pate, half avo
L: leftovers of courgettini with chicken, onion, arabiata sauce
D: soup (onion, broccoli, celery, spinach, couliflower, miso paste)
S: baby bell, green smoothie (celery, spinach, cucumber, orange, water)
Cream coffee

Water/tea 3+ litres
Minimum excercise as was really feeling low on energy and still feeling blocked up

Naschkatze · 28/05/2017 13:22

You look amazing Kermit!

Food today:
B - Creamy coffee, avocado, tomato, mozzarella
L - Salad leaves, few pieces of leftover chicken, feta, cucumber drizzled with rapeseed oil and lemon juice.
D - will be BBQ with family. I'll stick to the salads and meat and suggest making an oily dressing.
My appetite has decreased so I don't feel like I'm eating everything in sight as much now!

ScoobyDoosTinklyLaugh · 28/05/2017 13:24

Good afternoon everyone!

I've not checked in for a while as I've had a busy social calender since Friday. I cheated on friday and had a few gin and sodas, I was planning on cheating then anyway as we only get a babysitter twice a year so it was a really rare night out with DP.

Saturday I was hungover and I normally go on a massive Maccies and biscuit fest when I'm rough but I think my appetite has really decreased this weekend so I was really good Grin. We went to bbq and I just ate loads of salad and meat and water.

But the best thing about Saturday is that it was my only opportunity to weigh myself for the next few days so it'll have to count for my Monday weigh in and I was 11st12 from 12st3 last week! I'm so pleased I haven't seen 11 stone since before I was pregnant. I weighed myself about 2 weeks ago before bootcamp and I was 12stone6, so have shifted a good bit. I get in the healthy weight range at 11st7 so hopefully I should get in that range in this bootcamp.

I'm absolutely delighted that I've lost weight while consuming so much delicious food. Cream and butter all! GrinGrinGrin

Today has been:
B:Creamy coffee, scrambled eggs and salad.

Ilovecherries sorry for you scare. Loads of good advice, just want to post my personal experience. I have Hashimoto's and am on thyroxine. I started low carbing back in May. I did a lot of research and it looks like it is not recommended to go under 30g of carbs a day with thyroid issues (also with adrenal issues) As I was eating quite a lot of carbs I lowered over maybe 3-4 weeks. I have also very understanding endocrinologist she ran some blood tests for me maybe 6 weeks into my diet and will go again soon just to make sure I am not doing myself any harm. I had full thyroid profile, adrenal one, lipids and some other hormones, minerals and glucose. I know this WOE/diet I good for me as I feel much better (and am losing weight) but I still don't want to damage my thyroid/adrenals in the process.
I do log what I eat on MFP (sorry BIWI) but I do it to check I have enough carbs (generally aim between 30 and 50 a day, most of days around 35). I do get them from my veg/salads and berries with coconut yoghurt.
I also take magnesium supplements and drink my vegetable stock when I feel a bit headachey/under the weather...
Hope this helped a tiny bit...

MajorSharpsButtons · 28/05/2017 13:46

So I've been bursting out of the xxl scrubs at work for a while, now they fit much better (i don't have to scour the pile for the newer ones which are bigger!)
I do have a pack of salted pecans in my bag but I'm now too scared of BIWIs big stick and I had a strawberry yesterday

boldlygoingsomewhere · 28/05/2017 13:49

Looking good, Kermit. Smile

CodLiverOil556 · 28/05/2017 14:01

Thanks everyone, no idea what size it is just happy I can get into it Grin

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 14:31

Hi bootcampers!

Things going good today.

B I had 2 egg omelette with broccoli and tomato.
L roast chicken with cabbage, broccoliand green beans. Butter instead of gravy and no stuffing.
S Will be a total full fat yoghurt and as a treat one of my homemade almond milk, cream and vanilla ice lollies.

I've cut back on cheese today. I think I'm eating way too much of it.

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 14:36

I just remembered I had pork scratchings with the cheese yesterday. I felt unpleasantly full all evening.

flumoxed pork scratching s have that effect on me as well. One or two I can cope with, but any more than that and I start to feel a bit queasy and seasick.
I think it's the concentrated grease or something.

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 14:42

Chesterdrawers
I used 80% almond milk, 20% double cream and some vanilla essence for flavoring.

I would advice to add more vanilla flavouring. The only reason I didn't add more was because I only had vanilla essence and I'm not sure how much sugar is in, it so I tried not to add too much, but I think it needed more.. I know some are using the Waitrose vanilla which is supposed to be better?

Anyway, they still tasted delicious and moorish. Smile

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 14:46

ilovecherries
Glad you're feeling better and are back on track.

wombattoo · 28/05/2017 14:56

Kermit the dress looks lovely.
Shasta Watch out for tinned tomatoes. They vary a lot in carbs. I think Sainsbury's own brand are the lowest (about 3gms iirc)
C4 you are doing so well. Especially considering your health issues Thanks

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 15:47

We will have done a whole week by tomorrow morning. I can't believe it!
Roll on Week 2.
I've stuck to it religiously. The only way I've veered slightly is to eat too much at times. But I have still lost weight.

I've been reading though Bootcamp Light and I think I might end up doing the Hybrid version, where the majority of the time I stick with proper bootcamp, but on 3 days of the week (when I have fairly intense excercise classes) I will do my Bootcamp Light.
But, I'm getting ahead of myself - We still have another week of proper bootcamp before we decide

Bring. It. On. Smile

nekobus · 28/05/2017 15:48

Hello bootcampers!

Lovely bank holiday weekend here, lots of socialising which is testing my will power and I've only had one slip up (small amount of desert at BBQ) otherwise lots of LC choices. Entertaining this evening so doing LC meatballs with courgetti for me and making some LC brownies to Jane with oppo ice cream. I know it's more BC lite but I'm ok with that and back strict tomorrow.

Kermit you look fab!

Style thanks for the mini milk recipe - I have all the ingredients now just need to find my lolly moulds somewhere in my messy baking cupboard.

I'm really missing exercise with my broken leg. Counting down the weeks (5 left now!) until I can get back to normal. I usually do Zumba and Insanity but going back to hospital on Tues so hope to get started on some physio Smile

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 15:49

I used sugar free almond milk.

littlebillie · 28/05/2017 15:53

Flaxseed is okay to eat?

Ineedagoodusername · 28/05/2017 16:01

Hello I need help! I need to sit my diet and fitness out for lots of reasons. I'm 10 stone and 5ft 1. I'm tired all the time, no energy, got low iron and low b12. How does the low carb stuff work? I'm worried about the expense, the planning and fitting in with the rest of the family. Not keen on cooling lots of different meals but have a very fussy 5 year old.

Ineedagoodusername · 28/05/2017 16:04

Is there some guidelines i should be reading?

AdalindSchade · 28/05/2017 16:13

There is a spreadsheet with lots of info in the proper bootcamp thread. Have a look under the low carb bootcamp topic and you will see the thread there
