Thanks BIWI I'll weigh in and hope for the best. I've eaten only bootcamp allowed foods but it seems like a lot of food! My water intake has increased daily .. I'm getting better at it Grin

C4 - I'm glad you have support. I'm not as bad which I'm very grateful for but it's been a struggle to get help. Lots of being fobbed off so £££ spent on private physio and consultants before surgery. It's about celebrating the little victories and slowly making changes now - good job as my weight loss is slow :( I'm not expecting it to improve anything so it's more about health in general.

I've added my weight on the sheet, hope it worked. I might weigh in tomorrow so I can do it Mondays going forward. I'm a stone off my previous lowest weight post kids.

I need to add almond milk to the shopping list. I have heard a lot about kefir for gut bacteria and might try it, I expect it's not low carb so I'd have to be careful about quantities.

CodLiverOil556 · 28/05/2017 19:06

Weekly macro thing (I know MFP is frowned upon but I need it to see what I'm eating)

So after a sceptical week of defying everything I've ever known about dieting and have managed it without cheating. I'm totally in the zone but can't wait to introduce some berries as my sweet tooth has been neglected somewhat Grin

Welcome MrsDurrell your menu looks fine (and lovely) to me Grin It is worth having a look at the ingredients to see what is in the curry paste.

Bibs No. I don't think coconut milk is allowed. The oil is fine. Can you see a list of ingredients on the milk?

Veryflummoxed · 28/05/2017 19:53

Kermit lunch looks lovely you look fabulous.
Ineedagoodusername go to the week one bootcamp thread, at the beginning of the thread. BIWI has posted a link to the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains lots of tabs with lots of info. If you can't find the thread this one will link to the week two thread tomorrow and you can access the spreadsheet from there.

CaptainBraandPants · 28/05/2017 19:58

Evening all. I've given BIWI her stick back before the power goes to my head. Grin
Welcome to all the new comers.
Kermit you look fab, very envious.
C4 waves back and Flowers your story really is inspirational.
Bibs The alpro coconut milk is about 2.6g carbs per 100mls, so whilst it's better than milk, it is still pretty carby. The unsweetened almond milk is much better - the alpo one now seems to say 0g. It used to be 0.1g, so I don't know if they changed the recipe or are just rounding down.
M0IST how many more nights do you have to do? I used to hate it when I had to work shifts. Flowers

Although it hasn't been as sunny here today, it has been warm and dry, so we managed to have our BBQ. The only disappointment was the DC ate so much, I don't have much in the way of leftovers for tomorrow.
So, food has been:
B: 2x creamy coffees
L: 2 eggs scrambled, 2 rashers of bacon. Lacking in veg, but I wasn't feeling hungry, so struggled bit.
D: 1 sausage, 1 burger, halloumi strips, avocado all BBQed and a big salad with hm dressing.
S: espresso with a dash of cream.

Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow. I'm getting used to not weighing now, so hopefully won't cave and weigh tomorrow. I'm feeling great at the moment, less bloated, clothes fitting better and I know if I weigh, I will be disappointed as I won't have lost the 2 stone I want to lose.

ilovecherries · 28/05/2017 20:04

Brunch : Bacon, scrambled egg, char grilled aubergine slices, wilted buttered spinach, roast cherry tomatoes
Dinner: roast belly pork, large mixed leaf salad with fried crispy mushrooms (pork was marinaded in sliced shallot, garlic, cumin, minced chillis, apple cider vinegar and olive oil - when cooked it tasted like BBQ sauce)

OldBooks · 28/05/2017 20:14

Have made myself a mindful eating flowchart to stick on the fridge. The only thing stopping me succeeding here is my reliance on food as an emotional regulator.

Today was back on it -
B: greek yog with creme fraiche and flaxseeds
L: tofu with tomato and cucumber salad
S: steamed almond milk, cream cheese pancake
T: courgette, leeks & asparagus with cream cheese pancake mix poured over it

Love that flowchart Oldbooks. May copy you. What do you do to self soothe if that isn't too personal?

styledilemma · 28/05/2017 20:33

GetReady Those coffee lollies look lovely, but what did it taste like? If you made another batch what would you do differently? ratio wise

It didn't occur to me to use coffee and I love coffee. What's it like without sugar?

HemanOrSheRa · 28/05/2017 21:05

OldBooks love the flowchart. I may do one for my bullet journal. I have the Idiot Proof Diet books and in the recipe book they tell you - 'YOU ARE NOT THE BIN'. It's something I certainly need to keep in mind.

Food today:

Very late brunch/lunch: 2 low carb sausages (oven baked), bacon, half a tomato, mushroom, 2 eggs and a few slices of courgette, all fried in oil/butter. Tea with almond milk.

Late afternoon snack: Used up some bits from the fridge - leftover Shawarma chicken, a serving spoon of leftover Greek salad, same amount of Greek yogurt with mint.

Dinner: Steak, mushrooms, courgette, asparagus fried in garlic butter, small handful of salad leaves.

Water: Just finishing my third litre bottle. I've had a couple of large glasses too.

I might have a bowl of FF yogurt in a bit.

GetReady · 28/05/2017 21:07

Style - they taste good, pretty much all coffee with a top up of cream

Yorkshirebornandbred · 28/05/2017 21:19

For breakfast I had 2 rashers of fried bacon, egg mayonnaise left over from yesterday and 3 low carb thin sausages with an iced coffee with soya milk, 0.1g carbs.

For dinner (breakfast was very late) we had roast chicken with lots of crispy skin with broccoli and cauliflower with lots of lovely butter.

Drunk 1.5l water so far, will try and have another litre over the evening.

One snack of a couple of slices of salami.

secretsignal · 28/05/2017 21:28

B: fried egg and 2 bacon rashers
L: pan fried halloumi and green salad with mayo
D: Quarterpounder, mixed leaves, cucumber, smoked cheese, mayo
3 black coffees, 3 teas with almond milk, 2l water
Having lots of salad at the moment, can't face cooked veg in this hot weather. Loving posting all my food, really makes me consider my choices. Bit worried about weigh in tomorrow, feeling v bloated (Tmi; always get v bloated around ovulation)

readyforno2 · 28/05/2017 21:35

I'm burnt. Honestly did not think it was that sunny!

Food had been pretty good too.

Ended up popping up to my dads and having a BBQ while the dc played on the motorbikes.
No burgers in the shop so made my own with mince and egg - no carbs there! Roast chicken thighs with skin and salad stuff. It was fantastic.
Only downfall today was the light mayonnaise rather than normal. Not a lot though. I used it sparingly.

Quick question though, I know we're not allowed fruit at the moment but I've been using lemon slices (frozen) in green tea and water. Is that ok?

OldBooks · 28/05/2017 21:36

Heman the original is in my bullet journal Grin love me a journal.

Cherrypi, that's kind of the problem. I am not really managing to distract myself or soothe myself. Usually because stress moments are caused by one or other DC and shovelling food in my face is a quick fix then I can get back to them slightly calmer.

Nevertheless I do have a self soothe list:
Cuddle DC
Cup of hot tea
Crossword
Bullet journal page
Embroidery
Tidying
Folding laundry
Have a walk
Declutter
Scrapbooking
Pinterest
Gardening
Decorating

readyforno2 · 28/05/2017 21:37

Also I bought new scales so I'll be weighing tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the spreadsheet to work on my phone because I can't remember my password to sign in on the laptop.

thenightsky · 28/05/2017 21:49

Massive sort out of wardrobe today. I've been LC since the last one in late Jan.

Two boxes of stuff marked 'too small' on top of wardrobe. Tried the whole lot on and I can now wear 2/3 of it.

yey me Grin

Veryflummoxed · 28/05/2017 21:51

Ready slices of lemon|lime in wAter are fine.

Off out early for the day and it was lunch time before it dawned on me I'd not eaten breakfast. Picnic lunch was boiled eggs, celery, tomato and some olives and Gouda
D. Leftover meat and veg.
A bit down on my water. Out and about so loo use a bit restricted. I've had black and mint tea as well though so I'm hoping that will count for today although usually I drink tea on top of my full water quota.

cabbage67 · 28/05/2017 21:57

Get Ready - I bought the powdered vanilla essence from Waitrose

HemanOrSheRa · 28/05/2017 21:59

Yay! nightsky Smile.

readyforno2 · 28/05/2017 22:09

Thanks flummoxed.
Ah, nightsky, it's such a brilliant feeling isn't it?

Mandelinka · 28/05/2017 22:11

Thank you wombattoo for adding me to the list. My starting day was 23rd of may and starting weight 153 lbs
Cheers!
