Got up earlier and went for a jog/walk around the park. Def quite unfit but it was so nice being out of the house Bogor 7am while DS and DH were asleep. Bit of me time Grin
Spent the whole day out and about, so had to plan for the snacks
B: huevos rancheros at our local cafe ( ate only the eggs, chorizo, avo and cream). Ended up having a late
L: baby bell and later at home yesterday's couliflower soup.
D: this was my best friend b'day BBQ, I told her. Eforehand that I won't be drinking and eating any carbs. She kindly prepared beef patties and salad for me. Ended up having a glass of rose for her bday toast. Oh well...
Water about 2.5 l

I'm happy my energy is up, also the excercise cheared me up as I haven't been for run for many months and I feel like it's the only excercise making any difference

Mandelinka · 28/05/2017 22:29

Before not Bogor 🙄

TimeIhadaNameChange · 28/05/2017 22:51

I probably have mentioned yesterday's intake, but for the record:

B - yoghurt
L - pastrami, cheese, raw broccoli
D - cauliflower and broccoli cheese, sauce made with cream cheese, TT yoghurt, hard cheese and an egg. The sauce turned out a curdled though, tasted ok but definitely not appealing on the eye. Never mind!
Coffee and more pastrami at some point during the day

Today:
B - yoghurt and coffe x 2
L - (brunch) fried bacon, egg, mushroom, onion and black pudding with tea
D - gammon in the slow cooker with cider, boiled cabbage, mushrooms, baby sweetcorn, and courgette, plus roasted baby tomatoes. Large knob of butter over the top. Turned the cider remains into a sauce for DP and gave roast tatties and carrots too.

Had a wee wander off piste in as much as he'd bought a nice fizzy drink for dinner right (non-alcoholic) and I had a glass. But I checked the label and it seemed very low carb anyway. And I couldn't resist a v fatty sliver of roasted mushed potato, but I suspect it was more fat than potato.

Am looking forward to tomorrow's weigh-in. :-)

NigellasGuest · 28/05/2017 23:01

Fried plaice for dinner tonight. I had it with half an avocado in lots of mayo - sounds weird with fish I know but it was there and low carb so I just threw it all together. I couldn't finish the avocado and mayo - got really full really quickly. Managed some Total and cream afterwards though, oh yes!

Duckiesprettycrazy · 28/05/2017 23:06

thenightsky I've also sorted out my wardrobe today - into clothes I can currently wear, clothes that are a bit tight, and clothes that are very tight!!! There's not much I can wear at the moment as I refuse to buy anything in my true size (16) - hopefully it won't be long until I can fit into size 12 again! Smile

Cherrypi · 28/05/2017 23:18

Thanks for that list Oldbooks. I do exactly the same when my kids get to me.

ScoobyDoosTinklyLaugh · 28/05/2017 23:38

Todays been a sucess.

B: scrambled eggs with salad, creamy coffwe
L: Tuna salad
D: Paneer curry
S: creamy coffee and cucumber with cream cheese

L238 · 29/05/2017 00:28

Felt much better today in terms of energy levels. It was an odd one foodwise though!
B: 2 HB eggs & mayo, black coffee
L: hadn't intended to eat out but mum was hungry while we were shopping so ended up having more eggs - poached, with hollandaise & a huge pile of spinach plus 2 chicken wings with blue cheese dip
D: lamb shoulder, asparagus & cabbage in butter
S; biltong (from the guy who sells at our local market makes it & says there's no sugar in the seasoning) and a bit of blue cheese

Felt a bit hungrier today but think I didn't have as much fat as I have been eating on other days because I didn't cook lunch or dinner. Managed 3.5 L water & resisted strawberries.

Hope everyone's weigh in goes the way they want tomorrow and well done everyone who's made it through their first week

GetReady · 29/05/2017 06:40

Where do we post our weigh-ins?

CodLiverOil556 · 29/05/2017 06:43

Are we weighing in on this thread? Just updated the spreadsheet and I'm 7.2lb down Grin

I've never lost half a stone in one week before and always been in awe of anyone who has. I'm well over the horrible lethargic phase and had so much energy yesterday that I did jobs I'd even putting off for ages (even tidied our resident shit drawer Shock)

I know I won't lose half a stone every week but what a boost to keep going

Good luck everyone this morning

glenthebattleostrich · 29/05/2017 06:49

1.5 lb down but also an inch off waist and another from hips. Very happy.

Well done on the losses

GetReady · 29/05/2017 06:51

Can someone update the spreadsheet for me please? I've lost -5lbs.

Was hoping for more, I think I'm eating way too much yoghurt. Yesterday's lunch was a fail and I hadn't gone shopping, so I had yoghurt for breakfast, lunch and a snack - way too many carbs I guess? Also, am horribly addicted to iced coffees - went through a whole carton of almond milk in two days... will have to tighten things up this week! 😟.

GL everyone else.

SayrraT · 29/05/2017 06:55

week 2 thread

cabbage67 · 29/05/2017 08:56

Well done to those who have lost, just had a look on the spreadsheet and there are some great losses there.

To be honest I would have been happy with 1lb, and am very disappointed not to have lost anything considering I have found it easy and haven't gone off piste once, other than a little on Friday and Saturday night, but up to that point I still hadn't lost anything.

I class myself as the worlds biggest picker, but I haven't felt the desire to pick or had any cravings for carbs, sweet things, or remarkably alcohol.

It hasn't been a chore and hopefully I find this next week as effortless.

I didn't post my meals last week but shall do so this week in the hope that you experts out there can shout at me if I do something wrong

Thanks and good luck everyone

cabbage67 · 29/05/2017 08:59

Get Ready Well done for 5lbs - you should be absolutely chuffed with that.

Oliversmumsarmy · 29/05/2017 09:58

4.25lbs lost plus 2 inches off my waist. bring on week 2

CaptainBraandPants · 29/05/2017 10:00

cabbage and Oliver there is a new week 2 thread linked to by Sayrra just up ^ there. Come and join us. Smile

DevilsDumplings · 29/05/2017 10:09

Hi Peeps, one week in. I havnt posted daily but have rtft. I'm really inspired and motivated by everyone's meals they are posting. So thank you.

I'd also like to say a special thank you to C4'. I also have a spinal injury which prevents me from exercising, which leaves me frustrated as I was a high achiever exercise wise before injury. Nonetheless reading C4s posts are really uplifting, motivating and inspirational.

On this way of eating, this past week I've done it about 80% of the time, which isn't cutting it. Every time I've had what I know I'd be better off not having I've felt huge guilt. Plus I've sabotaged my 80% effort.

Weight last week 154
Weight this week 155 Blush

Not had breakfast yet but I've had a coffee with double cream.

I intend to have egg & cheese soufflé omelette for brunch.

Cod loin and vegetables with a squeeze of lemon juice for supper.

I have babybells & nuts for snacks.

BloodInMyCaffeineStream · 29/05/2017 10:38

6lb off for me (I've NC since signing up) so pleased. I'm 17 stone exactly which for me is good! Crazy day at work yesterday, when I totted out up I'd only had 800 calories (and walked 16000 steps).
Sadly it's not a job where you can stop for lunch if its busy!
It does meam my water was only 1.2l but i wouldn't have had time to go to the toilet either. Now paying for it with a dehydration headache so water water water today.
When I'm under 17 stone I'm buying myself a present!
Well done everyone!

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 11:15

Well done Blood - come and join us on the thread linked above

styledilemma · 29/05/2017 11:53

4lbs off.
Wahoo! Smile

styledilemma · 29/05/2017 11:56

Well done everybody! I was pleasantly surprised to see that I'd dropped 4'lbs, especially after all the cream and cheese I've eaten.

MrsDurrell · 29/05/2017 12:01

Drinking gallons of water is definitely helping.

Yesterday I made Jamie Oliver's cold brewed coffee which I keep in the fridge. I pour half a glass of coffee, top up with almond milk, waitrose vanilla and a couple of tablespoons of double cream. It was utterly lovely! So that was breakfast with some total yoghurt.
L will be chicken kebabs on salad leaves with mayo
D last night's thai leftovers with rocket
My stomach is less bloated looking already!
