So our last week! Here's the Spreadsheet for its penultimate outing

One more week could see another couple of pounds off.

Fingers crossed, and good luck! Flowers

Well done SayrraT!! I love the 52lbs in 52 wks goal.

I'm plodding along lurking in the background still keeping on, but have a difficult few weeks ahead as I've broken my leg!! Just realised that means I won't know how heavy I am for next BC what with the cast 😂

Also cooking and prepping food is so difficult at the moment as I get used to the crutches. I had a pork joint needed cooked as going out of date so instead of my usual sit it on a bed of veg, do something fancy with the cracking etc. I just whacked it in the oven straight out the pack and it turned out fine!

Also keeping water up is tricky as it takes a lot of effort to get up & go to the loo Confused

SayrraT · 08/05/2017 16:15

nekobus poor you, in the plus side imagine how much you'll lose when the cast comes off! Grin

wombattoo · 08/05/2017 16:35

Well done Sayrra That is amazing Star
Poor you neko Thanks

wombattoo · 08/05/2017 16:38

boatgirl I have added you onto the list.

ASDismynormality · 08/05/2017 17:15

Nekobus, hope your poor leg heals well.

ragz134 · 08/05/2017 18:38

Hello all...
.8lb off this week. I too have been a bit too high in protein and not enough veg. Better planning required...
Today so far: Lunch - Brazil nuts and cheese.
Dinner - Chicken and veg fajita mix without the wraps, with a spoonful of soured cream.
Not very hungry today. Meh
1.5l water so far, 4 black coffees and 2 teas with milk.

ragz134 · 08/05/2017 18:50

Not had anywhere near enough fat but I'm over on carbs (stupid fajita seasoning!) and protein. What can I snack on that will give me the 46g of fat that MFP says I need without adding more carbs and protein?
I'm not eating a stick of butter...

ASDismynormality · 08/05/2017 18:51

Pork scratchings are what I sometimes eat to up my fat.

nekobus · 08/05/2017 19:12

Thanks guys Smilesayrra I like your thinking! I'll weigh with my cast and then have a super whoosh when it comes off!

Ragz what about cheese spread with butter (brie works well) or nut butter on celery or cucumber? Pepperami?

Bibs2014 · 08/05/2017 19:34

Ouch neko, hope the leg heals soon!

PissPotPourri · 08/05/2017 20:12

I have a question for the Carb Reducers Awards Provider (CRAP)... I made double chocolate Malteser Muffins with my dc today and did not even lick the spoon, let alone try a finished sample. Please may I have a bonus pound off this week? Many thanks, PissPot

dustmotesinthesun · 08/05/2017 21:53

Lol Pisspot. You may indeed.

Neko hope you're better soo . I honestly struggle with all the food prep with this woe having a disability. I buy a lot if pre-cut veg. It's the one thing i find really difficult about low carbing.

Kleptronic · 08/05/2017 22:11

Somebody please slap me, I'm craving a mini mint magnum.

JiminnyCricket · 09/05/2017 07:24

Mooooorning :) sorry I've been a bit quiet, I'm still on track but I'm panicking on days when I'm not tracking my intake because I'm worried about carb creep Hmm

Thing is, I KNOW I'm doing ok and I'm making good food choices, I just don't trust myself it seems.

Anyway, went to Harry Potter world in London yesterday and it was really good fun and amazing to see everything first hand. We had breakfast at the station (Starbucks scrambled eggs for me with a small coffee and cream) and I took DP and I a salad for lunch and DP bought us both a butter beer. I decided to allow myself to have one because I'd always wanted to try it.. TOTAL LET DOWNAngry it tasted exactly like cream soda you used to get in the late 90's, it was even fizzy! Hmm I had 1 sip and it was so unbearable I gave the rest to DP. Probably for the best! Got home and neither of us fancied cooking so we had a takeaway. I had kofte with salad and mayo so not too bad.

Ran this morning first thing so hopefully that will have helped undo any damage I did yesterday!

JiminnyCricket · 09/05/2017 07:26

Kleptronic probably a bit late now, hope you resisted but for future reference, last time I ate 20g milk chocolate (at Easter) I was violently sick for 2 hours and had a 'hangover' for 10 further hours. Not worth it trust me!

boatgirl81 · 09/05/2017 08:01

Thanks Wombattoo x

Loved Harry Potter world but the station wasn't there when we went, need to go again, agree about the butter beer, we shared one mainly for the photo opportunity and the souvenir mug but wasn't fussed on the taste at all.

ASD, love your idea about trying on a particular item of clothing, I have boxes of clothes in storage that are too small, but couldn't bear to part with. Will go through and try and find a few bits to spur me on.

ragz134 · 09/05/2017 08:03

I had more Brazil nuts and cheese in the end.
New low weight this morning, quite a drop from yesterday so I don't expect it to stay, but it's always encouraging. I'll post my graph (last 3 months) again for those who are stalling/slowing down. Keep at it!

Kleptronic · 09/05/2017 08:32

Thanks Jiminny and well done Ragz!

I am pleased to report I resisted and had Alpro Soya Almond yoghurt with Green and Black's 70% dark mint chocolate grated on top instead. It was lovely.

I looked at my stats and I did't have enough fat and too much protein which probably explains it.

I think you deserve it pisspot!

I had some blackberries with cream last night - delicious!

ASDismynormality · 09/05/2017 09:15

Well done klep for resisting!

jiminny. I went to HP last year and agree the butter beer is awful! It was so wasteful as most people were taking a sip and then throwing the rest away. Other than that it was a great place to visit!

Krimbler · 09/05/2017 09:19

last time I ate 20g milk chocolate (at Easter) I was violently sick for 2 hours and had a 'hangover' for 10 further hours

Are you really sure it was the chocolate? I find it hard to believe that 20g of milk chocolate (4 or 5 squares?) could have such a drastic effect on someone's body.

BIWI · 09/05/2017 09:54

I know you've just posted a chart showing a recent loss, ragz, but I'm concerned about what you're eating - i.e. not very much at all! I'm not surprised your stats show that you're not eating enough fat.

JiminnyCricket · 09/05/2017 11:00

Krimbler positive that was the cause yes. Should have said 200g not 20! Blush

Sugar = really bad headache = feeling sick = being sick for me. I'm always sick when I get a headache unfortunately and being on this WOE for 12 weeks means that amount of sugar in one hit after that length of time was a bad, bad idea.

dustmotesinthesun · 09/05/2017 11:37

I also ate sugar at Easter and really felt disgustingly ill. I had a lot of pain flare up too.

ASDismynormality · 09/05/2017 12:03

Can someone please tell me which you think is correct -

Carbohydrates 12.7g
of which sugars 8.3g

Do you add them together to get the carbohydrates count or just the 12.7g. Has a bit of a 'discussion' about this in the diabetes course, I told the course leader we had to agree to disagree as I am sure I'm right!
