Here's the Spreadsheet for you to confess all!

I hope that you've seen good results, and that they have convinced you that this WOE works - if you weren't already convinced, of course Grin

Here's to a good second week. Hopefully all of you suffering from carb flu will be through that now, and will be feeling much more energised.

Good luck to all Flowers

@Grah0Soontobeafatty

B - Back Bacon - 2 egg Omelet

Perfect! Great start to the day

L - Home Chicken veg soup with butter and Salad

Sounds lovely - difficult to tell how carby without knowing what veg you used in it^

S - Tom yum soup Chicken\Ribs roasted green beans and Squash.

Sounds ok, although the squash could be quite carby - I'm assuming you mean the vegetable and not the drink? Grin

BAD 1/2 a small double baked with cream cheese baked potato

Yes, this was very bad - a baked potato is probably one of the worst things that you could have had

Table Spoonful of Cheesecake topping and Cream ( no biscuit base).

How much sugar was in this - also very bad!

Then disaster watching TV, ate the wife's salted peanuts

Why? Did she hold a gun to your head? What happened to Bootcamp rules?!

No wonder you gained so much overnight - you've simply re-filled your glycogen stores.

Drink plenty of water. Be super strict over the next couple of days, and get out and so some/more exercise.

A bit of a crappy food day here. When do children get old enough to let you cook without having to hold them all the time?

B: three rashers streaky bacon and three scrambled eggs
L: yucky grilled chicken salad at McDonalds
Snack: two emergency boiled eggs and mayo
D: pork chop and steamed broccoli drenched in melted butter
Water: loads

Imissmy0ldusername · 16/02/2017 18:41

B: leftover moussaka
L: crabstick & avocado salad (lettuce & mayo only)
D: Chicken thigh curry with courgettes, mushrooms, spinach & okra.

I do like working from home, it makes freestyling the day really easy. I've deffo hit my water targets, and am having a peppermint & liquorice tea, counting down the hours to bed time - new mattress arrived & I'm desperate to get a good sleep - I felt like a zombie this morning!

Tomorrow will involve yet more mousakka, some low carb sausages, and some yoghurt. Probably not in that order!

OwlInAnOakTree · 16/02/2017 18:42

Lots of snacking here today, and a lot of cheese, and grapes...

B: two poached eggs, buttered spinach, smoked salmon
L: mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar
D: steak and fried tomatoes...which got thrown in the bin as the steak tasted decidedly dodgy... Instead nibbled on blue cheese and grapes.

Snacks: peanuts, olives, babybel. Plus two coffees with double cream.

Doesn't feel like a particularly good food day, but carb count on MFP is only 23g, so maybe not too bad after all...?

mrwalkensir · 16/02/2017 19:13

Feeling cheery here - ate out Tuesday, again tonight and tomorrow ( v unusual for us). Avoiding carbs as much as possible, but happy going back to full bc next week. Wouldn't be feeling that way with any other diet. Also bit happy after last minutes late dive to Waitrose - coyo at 25p a shot and their own brand no 1 or whatever sausages also reduced. Virtually carb free. They've gone in the freezer- will let you know how good they are.

BursarsFrogs · 16/02/2017 19:25

The broccoli and gorgonzola soup was a success with me, at least. DH not as keen, but I guess I was hungry.

I'm afraid I had a horrendous counselling session this afternoon (I have PTSD and various other crap from a complex abuse past), and left wanting nothing but to stuff myself with carbs and booze and to hide away from the world. I managed to avoid the carbs, but did get some very dry white wine. I'm not even feeling guilty about it, to be honest.

Tomorrow is DH's birthday. I've planned pretty well so I should be able to stick with bootcamp stuff.

Now to hide from the world...

dementedma · 16/02/2017 19:26

Breakfast - ff yoghurt
Lunch - microwaved veggies. At work so couldn't add any butter
Dinner - salmon, courgettes,kale.

Not enough water

BIWI · 16/02/2017 19:27

GRAPES?!

They're really not allowed on Bootcamp - or even on Bootcamp Light - they're way too carby.

And if your carbs were only 23g then I'd suggest you're not eating enough veg and salad

OP posts:
BIWI · 16/02/2017 19:33

... and also, balsamic vinegar isn't allowed either - it's too sweet! Too many carbs

I posted this on a previous BC thread but small update
My dad is like me and has wonky bloody sugars (drop v v quickly especially after a nap)
He was complaining about toast in the mornings being boring and not keeping him full and no time to eat so I suggested protein like maybe eggs. He rang me the next day to tell me he had considered it and was halfway through a steak with eggs, mushrooms and a load of veg all cooked in butter. Mum thought he had gone insane
Anyway, he's still doing it Grin swears by having a huge low carb breakfast along with his pint of coffee
He's not fully low carb but he had put weight on and decided to stop eating bread, potatoes, pasta etc and lost 3 stone

BIWI · 16/02/2017 20:16

That's good to hear! And how are his blood sugars now?

OP posts:
wombattoo · 16/02/2017 20:19

Bursars Thanks

hollinhurst84 · 16/02/2017 20:21

Lots better. He fell in a trap of dropping sugars then eating say a mars bar and nothing else, then dropping... So it stops that cycle
It's weird, ages ago I ate scrambled eggs and veg for breakfast at about 7am. Felt faint at 10am. Paramedics made me eat 3 Jaffa cakes and glucose gel and they still couldn't get them up!

PissPotPourri · 16/02/2017 20:33

Evening! I meant to ask, would somebody be kind enough to add my starting weight and 2 week later weight on to the spreadsheet please? My stats are posted last night. Thank you! I also wanted to say that I've been feeling a little sceptical about what my calorie intake might be, having read some of yours. I've been feeling full, and last night even slightly queasy due to too much oil in my aubergine and so suspected i might be eating lots more than many of you. I've just found MFP and uploaded today's intake, to every last little thing, and erring on the generous side too for portion sizes and weights... And I've had 955 calories and a telling off from MFP. I really wouldn't have predicted that!

Pleaseandthankyou · 16/02/2017 21:20

Can I join you. I have done this before and try to low carb during the week but have recently lost my way. I want to lose a stone. Was late home from work tonight. Stopped at my local supermarket and bought a bag of cubed swede/turnip (the yellow one - the name depends on how far north you are). I boiled them for a few minutes, tossed in olive oil, sprinkled with paprika, cinnamon, coriander, ginger . Stuck in a hot oven for half an hour, they were absolutely gorgeous. Had with some chicken.

mrwalkensir · 16/02/2017 21:32

More Flowers for Bursar - don't let the bastards get you down ( yep , much easier to say than do xxx)

SayrraT · 16/02/2017 22:00

Feeling very very stiff today as had a pole lesson last night with a friend and we did lots of doubles stuff so I was holding her on one arm Grin then had flex tonight.

Food hasn't been ideal today I don't think.

B: coffee with cream
L: tinned mackerel with salad and mediterranean veg
S: 1 square lindt chocolate (5g carbs)
D: Prawn curry though it was too spicy so I just ate the prawns

Just having a chicken stock drink Grin I really enjoy them.

PLEASE DO NOT INSERT A ROW ON THE SPREADSHEET, ADD YOUR NAME AND THE BOTTOM AND I WILL RE-ALPHABETISE IT

Someone must have inserted a row and it mucked all of the calculations up. I've sorted it now though.

pisspot I'll do it if you post the weights again.

PissPotPourri · 16/02/2017 22:11

Thank you Sayrra. Hope you're not too sore tomorrow morning. At the start i weighed 11.8 stone and on Monday this week i was 11 stone exactly.

SayrraT · 16/02/2017 22:18

piss 11 st 8lbs or 11st 0.8lbs the spreadsheet works in lbs.

PissPotPourri · 16/02/2017 22:27

Sorry, 11stone 8lbs. So i lost 8lbs over the first two weeks.

SayrraT · 16/02/2017 22:31

Well done Smile

mrwalkensir · 16/02/2017 23:49

V healthy low fat mealfr/ plenty veg carbs at relations house. Sitting here now hour afterwords absolutely ravenous

mrwalkensir · 16/02/2017 23:50

Should wear my specs when typing 😀

Imissmy0ldusername · 17/02/2017 06:22

Aargh! Still no movement on the scales. Nothing, nada, zilch! Not since Monday. Either it's the dairy (there has been quite a bit of cheese & cream this week), or it's not enough water, or it's TOTM stuff which I'm never sure about as I've got the implant, or my body's still adjusting.

I'm not keen on reducing the dairy, to be honest - so I'm going to be more vigilant about the water & KOKO. If it's body related, then hopefully there will be a bit of movement in the next few days.
