Here's the Spreadsheet for you to confess all!

I hope that you've seen good results, and that they have convinced you that this WOE works - if you weren't already convinced, of course Grin

Here's to a good second week. Hopefully all of you suffering from carb flu will be through that now, and will be feeling much more energised.

Good luck to all Flowers

I've struggled a bit today, had three squares of dark chocolate and big snack of pork scratchings. Am quite pre menstrual, hope my cravings will go down soon.

BursarsFrogs · 15/02/2017 20:54

I made the pizza base off the recipe thread - cauliflower rice, grated mozzarella, egg, herbs and garlic. It looked quite nice. It even tasted quite nice. But dear god it stook to the (well greased!) paper! I hope greaseproof paper is low carb, as I've certainly had some!

Other than that, pizza was tunay, cheesey, greasy goodness. Grin

BursarsFrogs · 15/02/2017 20:55

stook? Hmm stuck, obviously...

mrwalkensir · 15/02/2017 21:04

Playmobilpeacock I can weigh back up 7 lbs at. some points during the day partly due to all the drinking. Maybe try again in the morning?

thenightsky · 15/02/2017 22:03

I've made the cauliflower pizza too. First one slipped off the paper easily with no sticking at all. Second one stuck like a bastard Angry

Hesdeadjim · 16/02/2017 06:24

I SLEPT!! Grin

God I feel SO much better! DP went to the chemist for me and picked up some over the counter nightol, worked like a charm :)

I've still got my cold but at least now I can think straight and my cravings have magically disappeared again so that's a huge positive.

Onwards and downwards :)

Imissmy0ldusername · 16/02/2017 06:41

Nice one Jim!!

Sleep here was in fits & starts due to rubbish soon to be changed mattress. Not hungry at the moment, probably because dinner last night was quite late. I'm working from home today, so I don't have to be organised on the food front. Huzzah!

ChesterDrawers · 16/02/2017 07:41

Not had chance to RTFT so hope everyone is doing okay?

I had a wobble yesterday and ended up on the WeightWatchers website. My mum is a big fan and keeps going on about their new app and how great it is hinting at me that I'm fat. I had a word with myself though and went and made a lovely LC tea that would have been about a billion points on WW Grin

Am in the office for the first time this year after injuring my leg and being unable to drive. I am still not driving but have managed to get a lift in, so I can keep in touch with everyone rather than working on my sofa from bed in my PJs. But being in the office means cakes, biscuits, chocolates, vending machines and the canteen, so I have come prepared to get me through the day.

Today's plan:
B: ff yog and cream
L: Made some little muffins with two eggs, a bit of cream, two rashers of bacon, mushrooms and watercress (weird I know but the only green thing in the fridge)

feekerry · 16/02/2017 08:31

playmobilpeacock do you weigh daily?
That's the reason I don't weigh daily tbh as so much fluctuation

playmobilpeacock · 16/02/2017 09:31

I don't weigh daily but I thought I'd have a quick look. Wish I hadn't bothered.

I'm sticking with it.

B- coffee with cream
Fry up in a cafe

L- salad of some description

D- meatballs with courgetti

Coconut70 · 16/02/2017 09:35

Jim the nytol as an anti histamine will help dry up your runny nose so sleep better, you get a terrible thirst in the morning though.

I am on day 9 and not weighed myself, my DH and kids are all annoying me asking how on earth I can lose weight on this diet as it is so fatty. They've put doubt in my head, I did a dipstick and I am in ketosis and have had hardly any carbs.

will need to go into boots and weigh self as I have no scales and now scared I have put on stones.

Hesdeadjim · 16/02/2017 09:42

Coconut70 I've had exactly the same from my parents, DP remains resolutely supportive bless him but you can see he doubts it!

I track with MFP and if you look at the overall calories I'm eating, I actually only really just get over 1000 cals a day some days, most days are between 1000 and 1200 and only a couple are above that. That's despite eating a ton of fat!

Coconut70 · 16/02/2017 10:17

that's interesting Jim I might try keeping a note of calories, it's quite sickly isn't it. what are you most craving?

I want a donut or yum yum! but won't xxx

RupertsMum2 · 16/02/2017 10:29

I managed to avoid the Chinese last night and had chicken in a creamy sauce with broccoli. It was actually much nicer than a takeaway she keeps telling herself. I did have two small glasses of red wine but I only have a birthday once a year. Birthdays actually make me feel quite depressed now. The people that I go to so much trouble for all year don't reciprocate (except my lovely sister who is taking me for lunch tomorrow) and it's probably the day of the year I miss my Mum most. Still enough of the melancholy.

B. Ham egg and cheese cup with mushrooms (I made 2 but one was enough and the other is saved for later.
L. FF Greek yogurt
D. Chicken wrapped in bacon with spring greens

BursarsFrogs · 16/02/2017 10:40

Belated birthday wishes Rupert, and well done resisting the takeaway. Flowers

I've been up since 5 am and have managed two breakfasts... I had some leftover pizza around 6 am, and a whole tub of Co Yo at 10 am. I am heading out, and won't be home until after 4 pm though, so no normal lunch, so I suppose it's okay.

Planning to make broccoli and gongonzola soup tonight. My attempts with stilton haven't been a success in the past, so we'll see how it turns out...

ragz134 · 16/02/2017 12:46

The 1lb gain has gone!
Lunch today was Morrison's cafe (I'm working the community at the moment) I had one sausage, two Bacon and two poached eggs. Feeling stuffed...
Have recommended this WOE to my colleague, I'm not sure he's convinced but he is going to try it for a week. Also recommended to my sister who is totally up for it but was very confused about carbs - surprised that potatoes and sugar are carbs! She will get daily texts of support and information...
Dinner tonight is currently a mystery, chaos at home meant we haven't shopped or meal planned yet - family are having sausage and chips, I know we have a cabbage that needs eating so I may stir fry that.

Almahart · 16/02/2017 14:32

Had leftover Greek salad for bf and some cold salmon egg and cucumber for lunch. Not at all hungry now. Am thinking of making a crispy coating for some pork out if pork scratchings but I might lose my nerve!

Lucy7400 · 16/02/2017 15:23

Happy birthday Rupert.

I am back on track after a few wobbly days.

B. Scrambelled egg with butter.
L. Nandos chicken in Pitt but left the pitta.
D. Chicken breast and brocolli.

More importantly, this is the first day I have been able to open the french doors! Spring is round the corner.

Coconut70 · 16/02/2017 15:40

@ruperts mum those egg muffins look lovely. weighed self in boots I am 13 stone exactly the blooming same as before. I'm hoping it will be a delayed reaction and my body will start shedding soon. I am officially 2.5 stone overweight so sick of it.

GrassWillBeGreener · 16/02/2017 15:43

Real half-term lunchtime success today. Spinach pancakes for my children, fried some celeriac crisps for myself and put my share of the spinach filling into a dish, celeriac on top and a bit of mozarella. Yum!

(spinach filling = chopped onion, spinach, and egg, seasoned with salt, pepper, marjoram, thyme and nutmeg)

Patapouf · 16/02/2017 15:55

Yesterday:
B: leftover pork shoulder steaks with hm coleslaw
L: Greek yog with vanilla paste
D: spinach 3 egg omelette with butter

Today
B: 2 scrambled buttery eggs with spinach
L: gammon w fried egg and broccoli and green beans
D: lasagne with spinach and ricotta and ragu as well as bechamel. And a combo of butternut squash lasagne sheets and courgette slices instead of pasta because I FOUND COURGETTES. It's been nearly 4 weeks since I've seen one and the manly half rotten courgette available has been beyond miserable.

Today is DHs birthday so I'm going to have some difficulty resisting a glass of dry champagne. I'd like to say that's it but I will probably make a 90%choc ganache with whipped cream and strawberries in lieu of birthday cake. Poor DH already turned down dessert at lunch because he didn't want to tempt me.

That spinach filling sounds delish grass

Patapouf · 16/02/2017 15:56

Mainly half rotten courgetti, no such thing as manly courgette!

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 16/02/2017 17:07

OK gain 6lbs yesterday, didn't drink enough,
went on a 2 hour walk across snow covered railways, and ate to many salted Peanuts.

B - Back Bacon - 2 egg Omelet
L - Home Chicken veg soup with butter and Salad
S - Tom yum soup Chicken\Ribs roasted green beans and Squash. BAD 1/2 a small double baked with cream cheese baked potato
Table Spoonful of Cheesecake topping and Cream ( no biscuit base).

Then disaster watching TV, ate the wife's salted peanuts.

Stepped on the scales 3 times and 223.1 glared back at me. Normally the scale changes depending on the position on the slight sloopy floor, not today.

SO a Fluid increase and really good LCHF day and hope for the correction.

BIWI · 16/02/2017 17:47

@Coconut70 hopefully reading this first weigh-in thread should reassure you that this WOE works?!

If you're still in any doubt as to why your DH and family is wrong, read the resources on the spreadsheet (look at the tabs at the bottom) and find out why eating fat does not make you fat.

I am on day 9 and not weighed myself, my DH and kids are all annoying me asking how on earth I can lose weight on this diet as it is so fatty. They've put doubt in my head, I did a dipstick and I am in ketosis and have had hardly any carbs.

Also, if you're drinking the amount of water that you should be - you are, aren't you? Grin - then the ketostix won't be showing much a change anyway, so you'll be wasting your money.

When you say you're eating hardly any carbs, what does that actually mean? You should be eating plenty of vegetables and fruit, which is where your carbs will be coming from.

Difficult at today, pmt, 4th day flying solo with the children and a diasaterous lunch. Went out and ordered Roast veg salad which was billed as mixed roast veg and mozzarella, I assumed it would be Mediterranean veg and lots of fresh mozzarella it was in fact mixed root veg sprinkled in grated cheese argh.

Managed not to sway so am happy with myself. Actually I think this is the first time I have ever had my period and not just dived into a pile of chocolate.

B: yoghurt and cream
L: a few salad leaves then came home and had some mini chicken fillets and some cheese
D: two butchers sausages, portobello mushrooms with Stilton and lots of spinach.
