Here's the Spreadsheet for you to confess all!

I hope that you've seen good results, and that they have convinced you that this WOE works - if you weren't already convinced, of course Grin

Here's to a good second week. Hopefully all of you suffering from carb flu will be through that now, and will be feeling much more energised.

Good luck to all Flowers

Can I join you please lovely people?
I low carb anyway for health reasons (pre diabetic) and it is amazing my blood sugar is now totally normal.
However I gained 3 kgs in the summer when I broke my toe and couldn't exercises to our months and was eating more due to being fed up!!
I just can't lose it despite upping exercise and (trying to) eating less!
So today I am 63 kgs which I want to get down to below 60kgs.

Can you please check my diet:)
I am going to shrink more than 2.5 litres of water.
Breakfast scrambled eggs and half an avocado
Lunch 200 gms broccoli with lashings of olive oil
Dinner steak fried with mushrooms and broccoli.
Drinks were 3 coffees with appropriate unsweetened soya milk,
3 coffees with dash of double cream.
Snack 250gms unsweetened soya yoghurt with good day of double cream.
I love the soya yoghurt and it is 1gm of carb per 100gm of yoghurt, is this an acceptable snack?
I am worried as I normally eat about 80gms of carbs a day but far less fat. Normally my weight is stable with what I eat.

Youcandoit36 · 15/02/2017 14:45

Is it ok to have a spoonful of clotted cream?

Almahart · 15/02/2017 14:51

So far I have had asparagus and a two poached duck eggs for breakfast, a hunk of cheese for a snack, Greek salad for lunch and a square of dark chocolate mixed with double cream.

It is good to be disciplined and write it down, as written down it looks like a lot more than I thought it was

CaptainBraandPants · 15/02/2017 14:59

mando welcome, and I am sure you are going to shrink more, we all are. Grin
I'm not an expert (one will be along later) but your meal plan looks ok. Maybe a bit too much coffee? And lunch is quite small?

My breath is terrible today, so i obviously need to drink more, only had 1.5L up until now, so I will keep on drinking.
Had a nice chilli chicken with roasted veg thing for lunch and doing a Dietdoctor stuffed cabbage casserole for dinner, which I've not tried before.

Like Lazy i'm trying to be good before going away on Friday. I'm determined not to let it derail me this time.

Hesdeadjim · 15/02/2017 15:00

StuntNun Sure! send them round! Can't guarentee you'll get them back in one piece though, or not covered in dog slobber!

BursarsFrogs · 15/02/2017 15:02

Another one with very little sleep here. I always sleep dreadfully though, so can't blame the diet. At the moment I'm taking melatonin and Piriton at night to try to fall asleep a bit more easily. Sometimes it seems to help, but not last night.

A friend gave me a pack of very tempting artisan biscuits yesterday. They looked gorgeous. I've sent them off unopened to DH's office today. Sigh... There's just no way I won't eat them, if they're sitting in the house.

I don't have much of an appetite today. I've had my breakfast and a bit of lunch really just for the sake of eating something - not because I felt hungry or fancied the food.

B: Greek yoghurt with vanilla extract (non-sugary).
L: An avocado, handful of olives, and a mug of chicken bouillon.
D: Will be an attempt at a cauliflower pizza base with tuna, veg and cheese.

CaptainBraandPants · 15/02/2017 15:03

Youcan I bloody hope so, I love clotted cream.

What do we think of this?

StuntNun · 15/02/2017 16:08

It's not exactly news that high calorie high fat high sugar is bad for you. It's not relevant to LCHF.

StuntNun · 15/02/2017 16:09

Thanks HesdeadJim. I think I have a big enough cardboard box to post them in.

mando12345 · 15/02/2017 16:10

@CaptainBraandPants, thanks for the welcome:)
It was a small breakfast mainly because I had pigged out the night before on almonds washed down with a nice glass of red wine!

Hope the soya yoghurt is OK because I have a real taste for it, normally with a bit of xylitol but I've cut that out. Tastes better with a dollop of cream.

wombattoo · 15/02/2017 17:20

Evening all and welcome to those new to the thread.
It hasn't been a good day. I'll say no more.

ragz134 · 15/02/2017 17:20

Out for lunch today with family at a wetherspoons. So skipped breakfast. For lunch I chose tandoori chicken bites, grilled hallumi (minus the sweet chili sauce) and a side salad. This made a massive salad with some nice dressing, very low carb and filling. I had one mouthful of brownie and one of sticky toffee pudding. Both were far too sweet! Several black coffees and plenty of water. I'm not hungry yet so may well not have dinner either.
I was 1lb up this morning, my consequence of the wine and choc cake on Monday. Will be strictly BC now though as no more outings planned.

RupertsMum2 · 15/02/2017 17:26

It's my birthday and the boys want Chinese. Is there anything I could eat? What about ribs without sauce?

Youcandoit36 · 15/02/2017 18:19

Ok today

Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon
Avocado, smoked mackerel salad
Snacks 2x babybel, quorn chicken and one spoon of clotted cream
Dinner ?

Really hope this is going to work. Was too scared to weight myself the first week but bit the bullet and now I know my weight, so will be able to track it

Musicianofbremen · 15/02/2017 18:55

Ruperts I'd get something like Beef and Broccoli and a side of green veg or crispy duck without the pancakes? Yum I love Chinese food so much.

Imissmy0ldusername · 15/02/2017 19:02

Evening all! I'm feeling very zen today - my spangly new mattress is arriving tomorrow, and I had an interview for a job I'd quite like to have a crack at this afternoon. I don't know whether it was a good interview or a bad one, but it was good to get the old grey cells thinking about what I'd like to be doing if I wasn't doing what I am doing now, if that makes sense!

I could not decide for the life of me what I wanted for tea tonight, so I had a look through Neris and India's Idiot Proof Diet Cookbook, and landed on moussaka. I happened to have purchased aubergines yesterday, and there happened to be some minced lamb in the freezer. And I bloody love lamb and aubergines Grin

Also, this is my second egg free day in 4 days, which I'm sure my gut is quite happy about!

Hesdeadjim · 15/02/2017 19:27

Evening all :)

I made it through :)

Just had dinner which was salmon fillet with asparagus, spinach and a cream, lemon and dill sauce.

About to have a hot chocolate made with double cream as a treat, I need it tonight!

PissPotPourri · 15/02/2017 19:27

Imiss *I'm so glad you have a noticeably lovelier tongue too Grin

Imissmy0ldusername · 15/02/2017 19:40

PissPot - It's taking quite a bit of self control not to show it off to everyone I meet Grin
My wind smells nicer too, but I'm not in any rush to inflict that side effect on anyone GrinGrin

PissPotPourri · 15/02/2017 20:05

The funny thing is, i know exactly what you mean. I feel like such a catch... Lucky DH Grin

Rosie1964 · 15/02/2017 20:11

Is it ok to join now? I would really like to lose some weight, am lowcarbing but could do with some group incentive. Shall I add my name to the spreadsheet?
Thanks

margaritasbythesea · 15/02/2017 20:14

Hello all,

I just moseyed over to see when the new bootcamp was starting and here you all are already! I have been on the last two and pretty much low carb all the time. I have fallen into a rut food wize though and have developed a crush on nuts which I think is leading to weight gain. If I'm going to kick them I really need inspiration from your meals etc, so I hope you don't mind if I hang around. I don't want to go on the spreadsheet as I don't have any scales. I use my jeans as a measuring device!

Rosie1964 · 15/02/2017 20:15

added it at bottom - ok?

playmobilpeacock · 15/02/2017 20:18

I've just weighed myself and I'm up 7lbs since Monday!!! So I've gained 2lbs since I started Angry

I've been following all the rules, except I haven't quite met my water target but only by 500ml.

What's going on? Feeling pretty deflated right now but not looking it

(And, no, it's not my period.)
