Morning all

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet

So we have four more weeks to go. Chance to lose around another half a stone, if we stay on track Grin

Hope the figures (on the scales as well as yours) are looking good this morning. And good luck for the rest of the week

I'm pretty good low carb apart from that. No booze.

margaritas Cream in your tea Shock I am going to shock my DH tomorrow and say - I don't want any teas this week.

I feel bad because he will have to cook tea for one, but I think he will understand. He doesn't eat low carb but he is so supportive. That is why I eat what he cooks, hungry or not Sad

I'm beginning to feel that tea with milk is lacking a little something... Grin

I had a good day yesterday except for water. I did have lots of lemon tea though.

B: scrambled eggs, sprats in oil
L: a boiled egg mashed with an avocado and goats cheese with mayo
D: goats cheese cream chicken with kalettes ( devil's food)

Today
B: scrambled eggs witj butter and cheese
L: don't know yet as I am going out so it will be what it will be
D: might be egg based or meat based. Depends on what time we return

Can we eat red cabbage, or is it too carby?

BIWI · 26/11/2016 11:11

It's 7g carbs per 100g, so it's not the lowest carb veg - but it's so yummy I wouldn't exclude it from your meal/diet! I love it par-boiled and then slowly braised with shallots and lots of onion, with a splash of raspberry vinegar added towards the end of cooking time. (And it benefits from long, slow cooking IMO)

wombat I have a bit of an opposite problem - DH is between contracts at the moment, and getting very bored at home, so he's started to cook. Which is lovely - great after all these years of coming home from work and having to make the dinner to find it all done! The problem is that he cooks what he likes and/or knows, without regard to the carbs. And he's so sensitive to any criticism that I haven't the heart to correct him! He knows not to do pasta, potato or rice, but really hasn't a clue about what else is carby.

I've been away for a few days - really busy week with choir events and work. As a result I've been going very long periods without eating and then sometimes eating main meal late at night. I know I've not been having enough water either. Other than that I've not had any carbs and am sticking to the boot camp food list. I don't feel like I'm losing this week.

So from today I'm back on the thread and I've had lunch at lunchtime and am upping my water. Now I don't feel at all hungry. Do I still have tea?

Nice to see you all still doing well. Smile

Dillite2 · 26/11/2016 23:00

Thanks BIWI. Usually I only cook it for Christmas with orange juice and cranberries, but I thought of mixing it together with some white cabbage in my coleslaw as I am beginning to miss colour. I will give your recipe a try as it sounds delicious.

Veryflummoxed · 26/11/2016 23:38

Still on track food wise but eaten too much I fear and not enough water. I think I see a connection there Sad

Kleptronic · 26/11/2016 23:50

Today I hit 'I'm not hungry', hurrah!

B: 2 eggs scrambled in butter with 1 kipper
L: 5 mushrooms in olive oil with 2 herta chicken frankfurters
D: chicken leg, spinach in creme fraiche, 6 celeriac fries. I was bursting after this.
2 coffees with cream, 1 chai tea with cream, 2 ltrs water.

Veryflummoxed · 27/11/2016 23:37

Ooooh. Where is everyone today?
Late lunch belly pork, mushrooms, creamy leaks, sprouts. Not hungry at dinner time but picked at some left over meat and cheese before bed.
