Morning all!

Sorry for the later than usual start but I have the advantage of a later start myself today so had a bit of a lie-in.

Anyway here's the Spreadsheet of Doom for you all

Just one more week before our final weigh-in next Monday. Fingers crossed that there's time to lose another couple of pesky pounds before then!

That sounds worth a try margaritas (meaning the tea. I'm not experienced enough to give an opinion on the egg swap. )

SestraClone · 20/07/2016 09:13

I love the food posts, so please don't feel like they are disrupting the flow! I would love the oriental pork recipe, Betty!

lasttimeround · 20/07/2016 10:32

regular you are Not revolting. Please don't call yourself that even in your head. Getting under 200 must be such a buzz. I have these numerical thresholds too and feel great when I enter a new 'category'

On boring diet - I find it helps hugely to try different foods. On weeks w little time I revert to roast chicken. But making meatballs, eating smoked fish, some lamb chops, a different cheese all helps add interest.

BabsUnited · 20/07/2016 11:06

Hi everyone. Going well here, lost 7.8lbs in first week. Caved yesterday and had an ice cream - was just too hot and water wasn't cooling me down at all :( So back on it properly now after that blip. It's much breezier here today so feeling less limp and useless. Have a six month old to entertain in the heat isn't great :/

Anyway, I digress. We've had lots of barbecues these last few days which have been delicious - sardines, chicken drumsticks, haloumi and courgette/mushrooms, lamb steaks, burgers and sausages. Lots of salad with oily dressing, don't feel I'm missing out at all.

Body wise am starting to notice the difference already; flabby tum is going down a little. Arms still big but they're usually the last place I lose from (bastards)

KOKO everyone!

bettyblueeyes83 · 20/07/2016 11:08

I got the Oriental stuffed cabbage parcels recipe from the Bootcamp recipe thread, Sestra - it's BIWI's recipe. Very nice it was too, although my 'parcels' unfurled somewhat in the steamer - I've got a much better sense of how to construct them for when I make them again tonight!

DoctoraNova · 20/07/2016 11:46

I wish I could find more variety of cheeses here, provincial Spanish town. I love halloumi and feta.

I'm really determined to make this last week count, and will also hang around until I've lost the rest of these few kilos/pounds. Am so close to my goal, but it's so slow going right now.

You're all a massive inspiration to me, and do keep me in the straight and narrow! Thanks everyone.

To poster who called herself "revolting", I'm so sorry that you think it's acceptable to even think of calling yourself that. This battle is not about conforming to a certain industry-standard body image, or looking a certain way, it's about being healthy inside and out.

That looks lovely SetraClone I'm going to have to find that recipe and link it for dh

My meals today.
L melted Brie on warm avocado served on an iceberg leaf with cucumber. This was horrible. Bland and claggy. The first meal I've not enjoyed since doing this. Ate it though as I was hungry.

D hm cauliflower soup and dressed leaves with belly pork and mushrooms.

Water going well. Black and herb teas.

margaritasbythesea · 20/07/2016 19:19

What do you think of my day of lower protein higher fat? I am not sure:

breakfast creamy coffees (and I had another one this afternoon)
Tuna mayo with cucumber and lettuce
Steak with mayonnaise and lemon juice with avocado on the

tomorrow will be (if you say it is ok, bcers!)
creamy coffee
eggs scrambled in butter for lunch
pork belly and greens for lunch.

Lots of water and some extra salt as i had that funny mouth thing you can get at the beginning of bc.

bettyblueeyes83 · 20/07/2016 21:23

Bit less 'on it' today - didn't add as much fat to breakfast as I should have done and some alcohol this eve. Rest day so no exercise.

B: almond milk protein shake with berries, spinach, and macadamia nut butter
L: smoked mackerel pate, crudités, and baby gem
D: oriental pork cabbage parcels (poorly constructed due to wine!)
S: two gherkins, two spritzer with dry wine and soda water, one pack pork scratchings

I have to draw the curtain over he last 5 days or so. Started off with small cheats but by the end I was totally off plan. A few things influenced this - meeting a friend I only see once a year and going for a meal, mother ill (now recovering) and hot weather (couldn't resist the ice cream). Basically just a very bad few days and not surprised to have put on 3 lbs. I'm annoyed with myself but not as much as I could be as I'm back on it and focusing on that rather then beating myself up too much.

Well done to everyone who lost -much needed motivation!!

DoctoraNova · 21/07/2016 12:46

I love the look of the fat head pizza Sestra, but it says in the recipe that you only eat 1-2 slices. Can that be true????

SestraClone · 21/07/2016 14:11

Doctor, I make 2 pizzas out of it, not one, and I can also manage 3 slices at a push. It is very filling! Have plenty of salad with it, and some coleslaw.

bettyblueeyes83 · 21/07/2016 15:24

Well I saw my lowest BC weight on the scales today: what a relief to get below what I'd last seen five weeks ago! Determined to stay here or below for Monday, please please please...

Am logging my food now as I've got guests tonight and won't get on the thread. Have planned tasty LC dinner for all and am determined not to go off track, as I know entertaining can mean I over-indulge. Have felt full of energy today! Did an hour in gym and a longish swim, so hoping that's a good foundation for eating a bit more than normal tonight. But I'm hungry now and would normally eat something more - will try and stave myself off with water so I can have starter and dessert and wine!

B: two scrambled eggs in plenty of butter, half an avocado, coffee with cream
L: half a mozzarella ball, prosciutto, cucumber, three cherry toms
D: Nibbles: olives stuffed with pimento and some fried halloumi; Main = IPD Moussaka from Recipe Thread with big green salad with avocado and radishes and olive oil; Dessert: I'm planning to make a version of the moussey things I made last week when I was having cravings. Will blend whipped double cream, marscapone, melted stevia dark choc, and hazelnut butter and put in ramekins and serve with a few raspberries. I might put icing sugar in my guests' ones. Hope this is nice!?
S: handful of almonds, iced americano (god I'm addicted to these in this hot weather, I'm giving all my money to Starbucks)

granjinx · 21/07/2016 16:14

Scales going down again thank goodness. Really sticking to plan this week. Don't want Bootcamp to end. Thanks for being there.

SestraClone · 21/07/2016 16:34

Margarita, I forgot to post yesterday that your menu looks fine by me, but I am no Biwi so don't take that as gospel Grin

bettyblueeyes83 · 21/07/2016 16:39

Here is choc mousse ganache thing. I totally winged recipe and there was just enough for guests with small amount of utensil licking which is annoying as was hoping there would be a spare one for me for the weekend!

margaritasbythesea · 21/07/2016 20:18

Thanks Sestra - although in the end I didn't eat that today! I ate a prawn stir fry with sesame oil and ginger and sme bolgnese sae with extra olive oil and a salad. Not so great but i wiil have the eggs and pork tomorrow.

margaritasbythesea · 21/07/2016 20:19

I made the green and blacks 5 minute chocolate mousse on my birthday, though I can't say I would do it again it was ok and quite low carb. I put vanilla cream with it. I missed the sugar in the taste.
