Morning all. Welcome to the first day of summer Hmm

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again, for you to declare all.

Thankfully a bit of a quieter week for me, once today is over, so I can concentrate a bit more on food and do a bit of cooking and meal planning!

Hope all is going well, and that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

OP posts:
wombattoo · 20/06/2016 21:00

Welcome Fantasy Of course you can join. If you intend tracking your weight - in the OP is a link to the spreadsheet. Add your name and weight to the bottom. There are also some tabs on the bottom which contain some useful reading tips, rules and carb counts of veg.
If you can't add yourself, post on the thread and I will pick it up tonight or tomorrow

Flisspaps · 20/06/2016 21:11

I'd just like to note that the Twinings gingerbread green tea is really bloody lovely, and I appear to have developed a weird 'thing' for the salted caramel one after my utter disgust yesterday.

So much so, I've now got the cherry bakewell and fudge melt green tea to try as well. Two boxes of all 4 flavours so I've got some for home AND work Blush

Eva50 · 20/06/2016 21:16

regular that is absolutely fantastic, well done Grin

well done bettyblue on your BC weight loss plus your 60 lbs overall weight loss, that must feel great Smile

reggae, if you feel slimmer then that's great. Don't give up! You can definitely get those 5 lbs off.

Sad mothership it is hard especially if you've been sticking to the plan but just KOKO and hopefully the whoosh fairy will visit you next week Smile

Woohoo boldly and stunt

Glad that you are happy with your loss mookbark. I agree that it is important to count your NSV as well, I remember noticing that my socks were less tight!

notdead you'd be better off trying to have some dark (80%) chocolate if you like it? I think most people can easily polish off a milk chocolate bar but its much harder to do with dark chocolate. I know that I can mindlessly eat a milk chocolate bar but I savour a single square of dark chocolate. I go for the carbier option of Lindt with a hint of lime (or orange) its about 5g carbs per square.

Sad humphry sorry about your rubbish period, glad that you've recovered though!

It can be really hard to get back on track after a weekend off laser, I know the feeling. That's why I've not been around much I just can't get back on track and I am annoyed with myself!

IndianaJone some people are just so observant Grin I was just about to say how fabulous you look with your 11 lb loss Grin I usually just console myself with the fact that hopefully they didn't notice me putting weight on in the first place!

Flowers sorry you are having a stressful time cider makes it difficult to stay on track, I am in awe of what some people on this BC threads have to deal with. With me I just need a tiny excuse!

whistle it doesn't matter if other people have noticed, as long as you feel better.

wilfsell of course you can join and no, you don't need to put real weight. You can put 100 if you want, you also don't need to go on the spreadsheet if you'd prefer not to.

THANKS wombat for spreadsheet duties Flowers you are a Star

doingit fantastic that you are 1 stone down Grin Well done!

10 lbs eva well done, I am ashamed to say that I doubt I've lost anything this BC Sad

Finally, I've completed my first SuperPost of BC!

Now all I need to do is to actually do BC Blush I am quite ashamed at how badly I've done this time round. I really need to get on track, my clothes are tight and I had to buy a size 20 dress for my graduation which I am feeling quite Sad about.

It does look good though Grin

Tomorrow this is my plan:

B: Coffee with cream, fried eggs
L: Lettuce with prawns and crayfish tails
D: Pork belly, asparagus, courgetti
S: Mascarpone with vanilla

bettyblueeyes83 · 20/06/2016 22:32

Wow Sayrra that was extremely super! Glad your dress looks good, hope you have a great day.

I'm afraid you've planted an idea with the marscapone...I'm so suggestible!

FarelyKnuts · 20/06/2016 23:27

2lb off this week. Yay me. I'm still going full on BC strict rules as I can't get my head around BC light and just know I'll slippery slope my way off the wagon if I do!

PrimalLass · 20/06/2016 23:48

I just started today, as so go on holiday in 3 weeks. It went ok, and I've done it GeForce so know it works.

B: 3 x boiled eggs
L: ham, cheese, mayo
D: roast pork, feta salad, sugar snaps

momofgirls · 21/06/2016 06:38

Many positive posts.
Please can 156.4 be added.
Slowly losing but people have commented this week. KOKO

stilllovingmysleep · 21/06/2016 07:07

Hi all good morning, sorry I didn't come to this thread much yesterday (only in the morning to record my weight).

I'm a bit disappointed & down today. I had 2 exceptions in the last week on BCone was last friday (ate wrap with falafel at cafe with DH) & the other was yesterday: was at a friend's for dinnera spontanteous meal that we joined--and they offered me a stew & bread and I had some of the bread.

The other thing I've noticed is thatmaybe because period is about to come / maybe because of the exceptions / maybe because of the nuts / berries / increased cheeceI tend to have slightly increased cravings / hunger these days.

So of course on weight-in yesterday I was up, not down... Sad

Anyway, just looking for a bit of support really as I've done very well so far & have lost weight overall, and yet don't want to give up & continue with more & more exceptions etc as it'll be disastrous.

Wondering also: now we're starting week 6 (can't believe how the time passed!) Does the whole BC last 8 weeks?

margaritasbythesea · 21/06/2016 07:22

Jumping on to catch up later. Morning all.

DoingItForMyselfAtLast · 21/06/2016 07:28

Don't give up Still, you've done so well. Keep at it with me, I have a slight increase today also, just 0.2lbs, but would have preferred a sts. I'm going back to strict BC as the nuts and fruit have been creeping in way too much I think. May also try cutting back on dairy. I need a woosh!

SayrraT · 21/06/2016 07:32

Sorry that you are feeling down still unfortunately as BIWI has probably said many times LC eating is not very forgiving. Some people can tolerate "cheating" but others (and maybe you are one of them) can't. It is possible that your two off piste moments of the last week have hindered your weight loss.

Do you have lots to lose? Some people when they get down to the last few lbs find that they need to be really strict. I think that stunt is the person to ask about this, I think she upped her fat to about 70/80% to lose the last wee bit.

Don't give up, do you enjoy the food you are eating? Have you noticed any NSV that you can focus on instead?

If you've come this far you can stick to it for another 4 weeks (BC is 10 weeks long).

Veryflummoxed · 21/06/2016 07:42

FlowersStill. It's a new day. You'll feel so pleased with yourself tomorrow if you have a good day today. Have something lovely (and LC) to eat today and KOKO

Veryflummoxed · 21/06/2016 07:54

Just realised I didn't post my food yesterday. I have never kept a food diary before, it has always felt like a massively impossible thing to do. Here I have posted every day so far, it really helps me to think about what I'm eating. I love getting ideas from everyone else too. Any way yesterday was

B slice meat, slice cheese, green leaves one and a half hb eggs Mayo.

L I can not remember. I can't remember eating lunch at all. It is possible that I forgot to eat any Shock

D lamb curry. Cauliflower rice. Purple sprouting and left over celeriac dauphinoise.

Water black and mint tea

WanHeda · 21/06/2016 07:58

Thank you Pippi that place looks good! My dad & grandad were both oilies, my Dad also worked on the Piper Alpha though was not on that fateful day.

princessconsuelabannahammock · 21/06/2016 08:34

I dont weigh myself as i get demented but my jeans are definitely saggy around my bottom and i keep tugging them up - nearly time for a belt.

Clothes sizing does my head in, i am off on holiday in a week!!! and went on an ebay binge. Some things i am a size 14 (just) and others in a size 16 dont even do up - size 16 fat face wrap dress i am looking at you!! Its really demoralising as i thought i was almost a size 14 but in reality i am probably just a size 16. I am so used to supermarket vanity sizing that i must have started at a size 18/20.

However in times of stress i usually get a bout of the "fuckits" and ruin my diet esp when i am this close to the thing i am slimming for i.e my holiday but i am still on the straight and narrow. I dont intend to blow it on my holiday instead i will have measured and considered carby twatyness.

Now if someone could give the whoosh fairy my address i would really appreciate it, she seems to have forgotten where i live!

MothershipG · 21/06/2016 08:47

Well the whoosh fairy has certainly visited me this morning - unfortunately it's the toilet whoosh fairy! (Apologies if you are still eating breakfast!)

I think this is probably due to yesterday's breakfast kale, I seem increasingly unable to tolerate green stuff like kale and broccoli, which is a shame as I really like them.

On the plus side I suspect this will account for the 2lbs that went back on! Hmm

Veryflummoxed · 21/06/2016 09:10

SmileMother

Mookbark · 21/06/2016 09:27

Still Flowers Please, KOKO. if you are getting more cravings, trying upping your fat. Also, it won't be all fat you have put on, so it is likely to go away as quickly as it came. I only lost 0.4lbs yesterday and I was mainly BC, with very few BC lite bits. today, I am 1lb lighter, so KOKOing does work.

Didn't post my food yesterday, but here it is;
B - two creamy coffees
L - prawns and two hb eggs in mayo, with mixed salad and dressing
D - chicken biryani from the paleoleap site. It was lovely and easy to do, you just need to remember to marinade the chicken the night before.

Today, I am off to a new crochet/ knitting group straight from work, so meals will be a bit tricky. I aim to eat at 5ish before I leave work, then if I am hungry when I get home, can have something then. We are meeting in a bar area and I know they do food, but I don't know how lchf friendly it will be. I know they don't have cream for the coffee Sad
So, today's food will be:
B - two creamy coffees
L - prosciutto, olives and halloumi
D - hb eggs with mayo and salad, possibly a tin of mackerel

rybka13 · 21/06/2016 09:46

Hmm, I think my brain is none existing any more. Maybe never been? Some time ago I decided to do Boot camp again, checked but it wasn't running then but I think BIWI mentioned it's most likely May when it starts. So today I discovered it is a week number 6! Geez...

SingToMeInFrench · 21/06/2016 09:56

Still here, bit of a wonky week- but 1lbs down.

On the straight and narrow from now on!

Well done on the losses! Off to catch up with the thread now
