Morning all. Welcome to the first day of summer Hmm

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again, for you to declare all.

Thankfully a bit of a quieter week for me, once today is over, so I can concentrate a bit more on food and do a bit of cooking and meal planning!

Hope all is going well, and that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

Totally agree Wan, we should be a shame-free zone. Everyone's just at a different point but going - hopefully - in the same direction!

PippilottaViktualia · 20/06/2016 14:52

Wilf, just do it. I was like 20stones when I started bootcamp, don't worry Smile Good luck Flowers

Thankfully have lost the weight (plus an extra pound!) that I put on when offshore the other week.

Away to Greecewith husband and kids on Wednesday then onto Lithuania for 10 days, just me and the kids, I have warned my mother about this woe, but I don't think she understands it really to be honest. All that lovely Lithuanian food, Mama's cooking... Must. Stay. Strong.

The last thing I want to do is mess this up, I am sick of being so bloody massive, I'm tall and fat which makes me look like a hulk Shock Argh, I've never been great at denial

WilfSell · 20/06/2016 15:35

So do I just add my details at the bottom of the spreadsheet?

Veryflummoxed · 20/06/2016 16:26

Yep it said at the beginning you could start at 100 and go down from there. I also was wary about putting my weight then said "fuck it" too. I have no idea what anyone else weighs or how we all compare but it's what will be helpful to you that matters. It's just numbers. Good luck

PippilottaViktualia · 20/06/2016 16:27

Yeah, think so, just pop your name in the first free row and scroll alon to add your weight under the right date, I think! Grin

Veryflummoxed · 20/06/2016 16:31

Some of us on mobiles have been unable to add ourselves. If you put your name and the number you wanted added, on the thread in bold letters a lovely person will come along and add it for you

BIWI · 20/06/2016 16:48

Welcome Wilf! Lovely to see you Grin

I saw on FB you were low carbing and wondered if you'd come and join us.

Hello everyone. Some fantastic losses. Well done everyone for koko.
I have updated the s/s
Wilf I have added you to the spreadsheet and put you in at 100. It's up to you if you want to change it to real weight. I usually enter a lot of weights on there, but I don't pay any attention really. They are just numbers. No shame here Thanks
A couple of pounds up for me but I deserved it. I have just realised that my holiday is only 3 weeks away, so I'm pulling my socks up and doing bc proper from now. Smile

trixymalixy · 20/06/2016 17:50

Could someone put 164 in the spreadsheet for me please?

DoingItForMyselfAtLast · 20/06/2016 18:26

Some great losses today. Flowers to those who didn't get the results they wanted. I will be weighing in in the morning, but suspect a sts at best Blush

Another tall and wide 'hulk' here Wilf, and I reckon I can give Wan a run for her money! I was going to start at 100 but decided to face facts and be truthful. So liberating! Accountability is everything as far as I am concerned, so I didn't want to delude myself any more. I'd had 36 years of that! Now I am 1-ish stone down since BC began, and not looking back.

KOKO everyone.

Xoticdreamz · 20/06/2016 19:00

Really impressed with Frankie and bennys low carb options . Just had a Napoli salad with chicken and shoved the breadsticks out the way . I notice they do a naked burger plus let you swap chips for salad when having steak but best of all the have no problem giving you double cream on the side with black coffeeSmile

Xoticdreamz · 20/06/2016 19:01

"They"

Xoticdreamz · 20/06/2016 19:02

I was wondering do any of you have a treat to aim for when you reach target weight ?

flyright · 20/06/2016 19:13

Expensive jeans. Chosen because they properly fit me and look nice rather than because they come in large sizes from M and S and I can get them on.

StuntNun · 20/06/2016 19:20

Xotix I'm saving up for a clothes shopping trip when I hit size 10. I have nearly £200! I'm going to go to Debenhams and get the personal shopper to makeover my wardrobe. I suspect it won't happen until I stop breastfeeding DS4 though and I've decided to give natural term weaning a go so it might be a few years while yet.

StuntNun · 20/06/2016 19:53

My flight's delayed by 90 minutes so I rocked up to Starbucks for a black Americano and was delighted to find smoked almonds snack packs. Delighted that is until the first taste revealed that they were sweet. The ingredients include dextrose, sugar and caramelised sugar. And this is why we have an obesity crisis, we're putting sugar into everything, even when it's quite ridiculous. I don't think I've ever eaten a nut and thought that what it really needed was sugar.

WanHeda · 20/06/2016 20:07

gcal I am going to be in Aberdeen this weekend, can you recommend a nice place to eat that is LCish? Seeing as the actual LC restaurant was not up to much!

wombattoo · 20/06/2016 20:22

Stunt I agree. I am constantly amazed at the amount of products that have added sugar. On the bright side, I can taste it instantly now, even in spices/rubs yes DH. I'm looking at you

WilfSell · 20/06/2016 20:35

BIWI hellooooo.... I daren't stray off this thread. I'll get SUCKED IN won't I?

Thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet.

I think I'll stick to 100 till I'm losing regularly then I will be ok with telling people in RL (who know my username here) how colossal I really am, er, "was"...?

I still haven't dealt with my body shame AT all. I've just had hair and nails done and bought some new clothes, and funnily enough it was doing that which drove me to take control of the eating. I'm used to telling myself I don't really deserve to look nice Blush so I'm getting over that a bit.

PippilottaViktualia · 20/06/2016 20:37

WanHeda

I work in Aberdeen and have been here and the same restaurant when it was a different name and in Golden Square, with colleagues.

It's pretty OK, food is nice enough and plenty meat / salad...watch the marinades/ sauces as usual of course but it's passable if you don't find anything else Smile

Have you been to the low carb restaurant? I heard from a few people it was rubbish, but I really wanted to try it.

FantasyFanGirl · 20/06/2016 20:39

Can I still join? Trying to do low carb, but failed today because it was an INSET day at my new school and I didn't feel ready to tell colleagues about my eating habits so just ate the pasta that was offered for lunch... Got my salad all ready for tomorrow and salmon for the evening!

Impressed by all the weight lost!

WanHeda · 20/06/2016 20:41

I havent been, but cal has and wasn't impressed! I should have guessed with all your offshore talk that you would be in our neck of the woods. :) Did you mean to link to a website in your post?

bettyblueeyes83 · 20/06/2016 20:42

Yes Wilf, I think the self-care/self-esteem/weight stuff are so closely linked, just doing small things to make yourself feel worthy and cared for are so important.

Just checking in with my food for today...

B: cheesy scrambled eggs in butter, avocado, creamy coffee, supplements
L: salad with smoked salmon/mozzarella/avocado and a lemon mayo caper dressing
D: pork belly that I reheated by frying in butter, tender stem broccoli with butter - plus a lovely pile of raw/live sauerkraut that someone recommended on here re gut health - I expected it to be a bit horrid, but it was great with the pork - somewhere between apple sauce and braised cabbage - yum
S: boiled egg, will have some FF Greek yoghurt later

Just lost my post. Grrrr. Can't be bothered to write it all again on my phone but have to say:

Roasted radishes? Seriously? I fear I may never trust you lot again.
