Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again

A horribly busy week for me, so apologies if I'm not around quite so much Sad

I hope the scales have been kind to you, but don't forget to take your measurements as well.

Hope you all have a good week

Fantastic news *cider!! Enjoy your coffee and facial - well deserved!

I'm making something new today. Had it at friends and enjoyed it so hopefully it turns out right. It's a sort of a stir fried cabbage. Sounds nasty but actually really nice. Basically onions and cabbage fried, salt and about a tablespoon of curry powder. Once done crack open an egg or two into in and stir in. Good with wraps, rice etc but in our case lettuce leaves!

CathemeralChild · 15/06/2016 11:10

Finally caught up with the thread.
I should have read it before. Some of you have so much going on and yet still manage to KOKO and to post. Flowers
I'd put on a pound when I weighed myself on Monday. Actually I put it on earlier in the week and it's stayed there ever since. My scales say 150lb every time I get on them. :(
would someone update the spreadsheet for me: 150. Thank you

Mookbark · 15/06/2016 11:19

Well, I'm in a boring meeting, so will update.
cider I bet you are so relieved it's all over. Flowers Hope you enjoy your day.
I have a constant metallic taste now, even though I am drinking > 3L per day. I've kind of got used to it now, but am wary of getting too close to anyone in case my breath smells.
Today I'll be having:
B - two creamy coffees, olives, halloumi and prosciutto
L - prawns in Marie Rose sauce with salad and vinaigrette
D - pesto salad with roasted veg
S - maybe spicy chai latte.

Wombat thanks for you reply. I think I'll make sure I have two meals per day at least, with veg etc. I do feel that I could easily just drink creamy coffee and not a lot else st the moment, but I don't think that would be particularly healthy. Although I've posted my meal plan above, I haven't actually eaten yet...

Gcalgske · 15/06/2016 11:21

indianajone I really like cabbage stir fried in coconut oil and butter with black onion and mustard seeds and sometimes chilli. Quite often break an egg in or add a bit of chicken so imagine curry powder being really good too. Yummers.

regularbutpanickingabit · 15/06/2016 11:22

Some fantastic news on this thread today - congratulations all!
Am working in distant parts which meant about an Hoyt's sleep. I'm hungry and packed food but not enough. Harrumph!
B- fage yog. Piece of cheese
L - chicks thigh and skin (roasted in oil), big spoon of ricotta, leftover aubergine caponata, spinach salad, spoon of very cheesy cauli cheese.
D - pork chops and salad
S- celery and cream cheese wrapped in pancetta. Cheese pieces
Not enough water available here but will make up late tonight

NotdeadyetBOING · 15/06/2016 11:31

I am really worried about the breath thing too. DD has made it clear it isn't pleasant….. Definitely not a great part of this!!

IndianaJone · 15/06/2016 11:39

Gcal I haven't had mine yet but it looks OK so I'm hoping it is yummy. Will try and post a pic. I've also added some coriander, bit of chilli powder and carrots (to add a different texture for the kids) as my friend said both adding carrots or potatoes works. I know carrots are carry so probably will pick out of my portion. Will try your version one day too as it sounds nice! I'm a terrible cook so I'm taking inspiration for all the posts. Usually, I'm more of a cheese on toast type of a chef.

princessconsuelabannahammock · 15/06/2016 11:50

I have THE BREATH! and i have been drinking loads. My husband tactifully asks if i have drunk enough water when its bad, which is code for your breath smells like you have been licking dogs bums! Bless him.

Gcalgske · 15/06/2016 11:58

I've been chewing on herbs, mint leaves or fennel herb fronds when my breath is nasty. They re low carb.

Veryflummoxed · 15/06/2016 12:09

Still it is it was. (Dressed leaves, boiled egg, celery, cucumber, mayonnaise)

WanHeda · 15/06/2016 13:36

Made really tasty asparagus soup for lunch, and it's so good that I scoffed 2 bowls full! Oops (sorry, not sorry).

PlayNice · 15/06/2016 13:47

Ooh, asparagus soup! Please put the recipe in the thread - sounds amazing.

I had a boiled egg and some FF yogurt for breakfast, lamb tagine with cauliflower cous cous for lunch and it'll be steak salad for dinner.

Third cup of herbal tea down and counting, although I am still yet to find any Buttermint. Taylors of Harrogate's Sweet Rhubarb, their Strawberry Green Tea and Twining's Gingerbread are my current favourites.

ClopySow · 15/06/2016 16:02

I've cut back a bit on the dairy because i think i was on waaaaaay too much. Black coffee only (except breakfast) and back on loads of water.

B coffee with cream and coconut oil.
S pork crackling
L mixed lettuce, celery, ham, egg mayo
S low carb sausage
D will be chicken thighs. I might try some of the cabbage thing mentioned above. Sounds delicious.

LaserShark · 15/06/2016 16:09

I might be having an Indian takeaway tonight, any recommendations to keep it low carb or is it just a bad idea?

LaserShark · 15/06/2016 16:10

PlayNice, I love the sound of gingerbread tea!

Gcalgske · 15/06/2016 16:37

laser dry chicken /lamb tandoori, saag paneer, brinjal (aubergine), gobi (cauliflower), bhindi (okra), saag (spinach) bahji (the wet curry side dish not the fritter) are good.

Iamdobby63 · 15/06/2016 17:47

Well done Cider for getting through all that and I hope that is it now and you will be able to put it behind you. Flowers

wohmum · 15/06/2016 17:48

I've been a bit rubbish over the last 3 weeks - had too many nuts and dairy, plus at least 2-3 days where i had Pizza or toast! but.... have lost 3 lb in the last 3 weeks so down 6 in total Ithink . the stone boundary is now in sioght.

I'm finding that I'm not particularly craving sweet things but do get peckish and tend to snack on nuts as its so easy, but this can easily get out of hand! Luckily am now back at work so there are limited opps to snack (as long as i resist the coffee shops on the way in)

I missed weighing in for the last couple of weeks but was definitely feeling thinner so braved it today. Glad i did as it has motivated me to keep going.

ClopySow · 15/06/2016 17:52

So i made some cabbage and leeks fried in coconut oil and butter. Added a spoon of curry powder. My new favourite thing.

Served with chicken thighs and asparagus roasted in the chicken fat and butter.

What's really surprised me is how a meal like that is no longer incomplete without potatoes and how much smaller and more satisfying the food is.

I feel a bit sick when i think about the piles of mash or pasta i shovelled down my gullet.

ClopySow · 15/06/2016 17:55

laser i get mixed tandoori and saag paneer. Thought i would miss the rice and bread but i really don't. Nor do i miss that exhausted feeling i got when i ate a curry with rice and naan.

wombattoo · 15/06/2016 18:13

Hello everyone
Cathermal I have updated the s/s

Veryflummoxed · 15/06/2016 18:34

Evening everyone. For breakfast, as I posted earlier. Lunch hm cauliflower soup with cream.
Dinner. Lamb curry on bed of buttered cauliflower and broccoli with the remains of last nights mint courgetti salad on the side. Snack, pinched a bit of lamb when dh was preparing curry.

Water mint and black tea.

margaritasbythesea · 15/06/2016 18:45

BIWI - I hope you have survived your hectic timetable.

Sarrya - fingers crossed dh finds something else soon.

Cider - congratulations. I wish you all the best.

Yay for the thread baby!

I really need a look at the recipe thread. I'm falling into a rut.

princessconsuelabannahammock · 15/06/2016 18:50

Made my metazza and topped it with salami, red pesto, mozzarella, cheddar, pickled chillis and chilli flakes and served with rocket salad with and oil and vinegar dressing. Bit light on the veg front but very tasty. I had more mince than the recipe called for so i made a big one and little one. In the end i just served the little one and as its so rich it did the trick.

My portion sizes have decreased so much since doing this woe. In the past i thought nothing of eating a whole pizza! and now i have metazza for breakfast - yum
