Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Sabine, I think you need to read the rules before BIWI appears with her big stick! Grin no apples, no beans!

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 18:27

SabineUndine You do need to read the rules, they are at the top of the spreadsheet, no fruit is allowed and if you check the tin of beans you will see they are high in carbs.

SabineUndine · 23/05/2016 19:13

Re no beans and no fruit, the regime I've been following successfully for the past 3 weeks allowed me both. I hadn't noticed this thread at the point when I ate them, and only asked to join it a couple of hours ago.

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 19:25

SabineUndine Ah I see, so you are starting tomorrow. Well welcome to bootcamp, do read up on the rules as it will save any mishaps. Smile

SabineUndine · 23/05/2016 19:29

Iamdobby63 In fact I started 3 months ago and have already lost a couple of stone . . .

Mookbark · 23/05/2016 19:32

Sabine well doen on your weight loss, that's fab. What dobby is trying to say that if you are going to do boot camp, then beans and apple aren't allowed. If you are doing your own version of it, you'll be welcome to post but BIWI usually asks that the forbidden foods aren't mentioned.
Either way, welcome.
I have just had sausage, leek and mushroom casserole with buttered asparagus. Was yummy and filling.

SabineUndine · 23/05/2016 19:35

Hello Mookbark, I'm making roasted veg ratatouille for supper tonight (courgettes, aubergines, onions, red peppers). I was going to have chicken with it but the neighbour's cat got in and chewed the chicken, so I kinda don't fancy it any more! Cheese instead ; )

Statelychangers · 23/05/2016 19:51

I know what you mean Somuch, so easy to pull a tape measure tight to get a better result too - how about trying on an item of clothing that was on the tight side before low caring?

yongnian · 23/05/2016 19:54

Hi Y'all!
Some great results here, well done everyone!
A good solid loss for me of 2lb (long time low carber). Think it may actually be due to a combo of post-viral stomach probs and period due. We'll see.
B: bacon + eggs cooked in ghee with rocket and mayo
S: 2 corn cakes + butter
D: white fish broccoli + Parmesan, butter and clotted cream
W: 2.5 litres
There was a non low carb snack in the middle of this that was not on plan...probably a kick back from yesterday's weirdness. Nothing too bad but best draw a line and move on.
Trying to avoid my usual self sabotage...

feekerry · 23/05/2016 19:55

143lbs so 1lbs down for me which is fine as trying to maintain a steady loss as lost most of mine on last boot camp.
If someone on a desk top could put me in at 143lbs I would be greatful!!
Well done to everyone else Smile

SoMuchToBits · 23/05/2016 19:56

As I said to wombat, clothes seemed a little looser after the first week, but since then I've noticed no real difference. Maybe I just need to be patient!

In the meantime I have made deconstructed cottage pie for dinner. Ds had the potato part and the meat part, but I just had the meat! With buttered leeks and asparagus.

yongnian · 23/05/2016 19:58

Ps could someone please add my weight as 172 this week as I still can't edit the spreadsheet. Thanks in advance!

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 23/05/2016 19:59

B- yoghurt and cream, and coffee and cream. I woke up feeling sick (dehydration maybe?) so didn't eat as much as usual.
L- tuna mayo, celery, yellow pepper
EM- courgetti "bolognese" made with lean mince bought before I started by, lots of oil and minimal tomato purée and grated Parmesan on top.
S- Wensleydale cheese in the morning and a baby bel after work.

Statelychangers · 23/05/2016 20:00

So food for today

Breakfast 3 boiled eggs
Lunch bacon & veg hash (bacon fried with random veg) with avocado
Dinner Tuscan sausage stew with steamed broccoli.
Bit high on processed meat - but the stew was supposed to be for another day and plans had to be changed.
I'm finding myself feeling less inclined to snack, tbh there's not much to snack on except boiled eggs.

But I'm so pleased my summer clothes are fitting me again....need new swimwear but will have to put it off till my weight settles.

wombattoo · 23/05/2016 20:03

feekerry Done

Statelychangers · 23/05/2016 20:04

Somuch - I've been doing this for six weeks, my weigh in this morning suggests I have only lost 2lbs in six weeks!...which isn't great but I'm doing this primarily for health reasons and losing weight is like a nice bonus - I am definitely slimmer now that 6 weeks ago....the scales just need to catch up.

wombattoo · 23/05/2016 20:05

yong done

SayrraT · 23/05/2016 20:13

wombat those blue cells are fine to use. I don't have a working laptop so added more rows but can't work out how to take the colour off! I'm having to try to do it on my phone and its not as easy.

somuch I wrote a post to you this morning but maybe you didn't see it. The just was that 3 lbs per week is a perfect amount to lose. Do you have a lot to lose? Have you be doing other diets prior to BC?

If you don't have a lot to lose then you might not get a big loss like some.

If you've been doing other diets prior to bc sometimes your body takes longer to adjust.

Weeks 3 & 4 are really bad for stalls and gains. You might have a big drop next week or the week after.

wombattoo · 23/05/2016 20:27

Thanks Sayrra

LaserShark · 23/05/2016 20:31

I only started bc yesterday and still have some protein shakes from the diet I was doing to use up. I'm reluctant to weigh this week due to period, the gains make me miserable even though I know it's temporary.

So today:
B - aforementioned shake and coffee with double cream.
L - tuna salad with homemade Mayo
S - mini pepper stuffed with cream cheese and some olives
D - cod wrapped in bacon with courgette and leeks fried in butter

I think I could actually live off leeks fried in butter. So delicious!

This diet just doesn't FEEL like a weight loss diet! But I love how I got home from work not feeling hungry - if I had a sandwich or pasta for lunch I would get home and inhale the cupboard contents before making dinner! I would be so ravenous. Tonight we couldn't eat til 8pm, hence I did have a small snack but I didn't have that awful dizzy hangry feeling.

I've had about 3l of water and two coffees with cream. Not keen on drinking anymore because I woke up twice in the night last night for a wee. I have a toddler that gets me up through the night enough as it is!

reader77 · 23/05/2016 20:34

Evening all.

I wasn't hungry at all today. Forced down a tiny lunch. Had a yogurt with a bit of added cream.

D- mince with courgetti. Mixed in a babybel.

Lots of water. Lots of peeing...a lot less...ahem...p••ing. Blush

LaserShark · 23/05/2016 20:35

And DH is currently eating cheesecake but I don't feel deprived at all. It feels very freeing to be so satisfied and not subject to cravings.

bettyblueeyes83 · 23/05/2016 20:40

Well done all! Am so pleased with loss of 7.7lbs. And best of all I survived a friend's birthday meal out with no alcohol and v. low carb and had a lovely eve (with no Monday morning payback on the scales). This WOE really is a revelation, after a decade of diets and eating healthily: I'm hardly ever hungry, I've stopped thinking about food all the time but I'm enjoying my food, and I can clearly see it coming off my waist. Not missing starchy carbs, although I am missing lovely fresh fruit.

I've become a bit of an evangelist Blush and now my sister is starting LC next week. Just hoping I can keep it up...

Thanks BIWI and Sayrra

lisbapalea · 23/05/2016 20:44

Just logging food for today...

B - ff yog mixed with dble cream and Creme fraiche, and a coffee
L - m&s side salad and pack of chicken with lots of yogurty / mayonnaisey dressing
D - another chicken salad but this time it was home made and amazing! Was leftover roast chicken from yesterday mixed into a mayonnaise / yogurt / olive oil dressing which also had a generous dollop of harissa in it. That was plonked on top of spinach leaves and I had that with my made up middle eastern coleslaw that I made yesterday and then dh barbecued some courgettes and also reheated the roast chicken skin on the bbq and it was incredible! Feel so satisfied by it and absolutely stuffed.

Have also drunk loads of water today and think my digestive system has finally clicked into action. I think it was a bit sluggish last week as it got used to this woe but it's now caught up with it and I feel so much better!

LazyCake · 23/05/2016 20:47

Hello everyone, can I join in please? Am hoping to lose a stone before summer. Right now I am 140 lbs.

Should I add myself to the spreadsheet, Sayrra, or should I wait for you to do it? (Terrified of blundering and messing the whole thing up...)
