Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I made Jamie Oliver's curry sauce last week, which is thickened with ground almonds. It makes an enormous fat of sauce which you can then add things to. Added spinach paneer and mushroom this week, and Druze three family suzed portions of the sauce to use later. It was yummy

Enormous vat of sauce! And I froze the portions. Doh!

Thanks BIWI and all for the support upthread and sorry for the delay in replying - busy at work! I will KOKO, I promise, I was just having a wobble. And I'll look for the longer term trend and not worry about this one irritating miserable pound.

I know the lovely not-needing-a-snack feeling as I was never hungry in the first week, it was brilliant. But this week I felt the need to snack - it might have been the cold (on Weds) or convenience (working from home) or boredom, I don't know. I do feel less hungry again today.

This was Weds, for example:

B: coffee with cream, scrambled eggs in butter with a bit of cheese, bacon, four cherry toms.
L: pesto salmon fillet, fried halloumi, lettuce, three cherry toms, mayo.
D: casserole made with chicken, cream, cheese, pesto, cauliflower, leek and more cherry toms!
S: bit of avocado, half a pack of M&S Serrano and Manchego rolitos, olives.

It was just much more food than I needed to eat last week - but plenty of fat, I promise! I was craving fresh fruit hence all the tomatoes.

Breakfasts have been wiltshire ham, boiled egg and a bit of cheese. Lunch yesterday was cold spare ribs from previous evening and broccoli soup. Today was the soup and a left over hm burger. Omelette for dinner.
I am pleased to see so many are finding the support on the thread so useful.

Hi everyone. I've done ok again today. DH and I have been biking all day so breakfast and lunch were small with snacks too.

B 2 bullet proof coffess
Mid morning snack tilsiter cheese wrapped around salami and mini cucumbers.
Lunch - see above snack
Snack see lunch
Dinner - roasted chicken and roasted veg

Flisspaps · 27/05/2016 17:35

I've felt crappy today, I've not drunk nearly enough water. I've had 1.5l over the last couple of hours which has made a huge difference.

Only ate 1/2 my breakfast (asparagus, cherry tomato, bacon and cheese omelette) as I went off it halfway through but had 3 chicken drumsticks (with skin on), big salad and mayonnaise for lunch. Friday night is chilli night here with homemade guacamole and sour cream.

The DC have just had big fat British strawberries with yoghurt, I can't wait to have a few next week!

LaserShark · 27/05/2016 18:13

I have eaten way too much cheese today. Just kept going back for more. I'm annoyed with myself. I think I get complacent on a diet and my mind starts wandering to when I can have a little slip up as soon as I start to lose weight. Kind of - well, I was 4lbs heavier on Monday so I can afford a little treat now. Which for me, quickly becomes "oh fuck, I've blown it so I might as well have something else...". And before you know it, the 4lbs are back on with some extra company! So today has been:

B: bacon and eggs
L: halloumi salad followed by Greek yoghurt with cinnamon
D: roast chicken, buttered leeks, cauliflower mash and broccoli. More Greek yoghurt with cinnamon
S: way too much cheese, a bit of ham, two creamy coffees.

Confession: I also had a square of dark chocolate melted in cream - I noticed someone upthread succumbed to this too!

3l of water and counting - I'm thirsty tonight.

WanHeda · 27/05/2016 18:16

Made a lamb/vegetable bake for dinner, with cherry toms, sliced aubergine, shallot, diced feta, green beans, garlic, rosemary & mint then topped with lamb leg steaks, all drizzled in olive oil. Was rather good!

Mookbark · 27/05/2016 19:14

I got to the farm shop in time to buy the steak. Yay! Smile Roasted veg on, frying pan and cream at the ready. Would be lovely washed down with a nice Wine, but I shall resist.
Wan another lovely meal.

StuntNun · 27/05/2016 19:20

Gah, after DH's sugary pork lunch (with carrots and beetroot in the salad), he's bought sweet potato fries to have with tonight's dinner. Three years we've been doing this and he still can't remember the rules!

margaritasbythesea · 27/05/2016 19:24

Happy Friday night everyone!

I'm another one really appreciating the support and recipe ideas. Good luck resisting the temptations of the weekend - mostly alcohol I guess seeing as we get to eat all this lovely food.

lisbapalea · 27/05/2016 19:27

I just made a birthday cake for MiL and absent mindedly licked the spatula! It Was about 1tsp of cake mix - will I get beaten with a stick?!

Mookbark · 27/05/2016 19:31

lisa No, with a spatula. Grin

HumphreyCobblers · 27/05/2016 21:00

Hello, off to see my dsis tomorrow, I am taking most of the contents of my fridge and veg rack with me. It is the only way, esp when you have a DH on an exclusion diet to contend with.

Still sticking on track, am delighted about how well it is all going.

Veryflummoxed · 27/05/2016 21:01

Today I've eaten

B last nights leftover mince and veg

L omelette with butter and marmite and courgette on the side.

D belly pork. Green salad with dressing.

3 and half litres of water.

MaryThorne · 27/05/2016 21:03

nekobus · 27/05/2016 21:16

Thanks for the curry recipes, wanheda and resting, bookmarked for making soon!

Gcalgske · 27/05/2016 21:54

Lex asparagus is a big pain to grow, I've failed a lot.

CiderwithBuda · 27/05/2016 21:57

Busy day today.

Food was good but only 2l of water.

B - 3 Black Farmer sausages
L - salad, smoked makerel, cherry toms, red pepper, cucumber mayo dressing
D - fried 'rice' made wth cauliflower rice.

As a Friday night treat I added sliced lemon to my water. I know how to treat myself! Smile
