Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

DH came home with this co yo coconut milk yoghurt today - anyone else tried this? It has 19g of fat and only .5g of sugar per 100. It is gorgeous and seems too good to be true!

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 18:44

Here: cauliflower mash (dinner tonight with black farm sausages and feta)

Just wanted to say: can't believe the level of thought and energy we are all putting into this. I have done LC before but never like this and it's because of the group support for sure and all the information. In the past the Konjac incident would have led me back to carbs full speed but I wasn't even tempted today. Thanks everyone!!

On the minus side though, it does show how hard it is to lose weight. Sad But so far I haven't felt deprived at all. Just needs lots of imagination / planning / knowledge etc

MaryThorne · 26/05/2016 18:50

Only started yesterday so in the throes of carb flu. Doing my best to add salt and drink lots of water (although feels like I've had to go to the loo a ridiculous number of times at work today Grin).

B: cheese and ham, coffee with cream and half a cup of tea with milk which DH made (forgot to mention I'm avoiding milk)
L: chicken, mayonnaise, grated cheese, mixed salad leaves
D: not had yet but will be belly pork and green veg of some sort
S: babybel cheese, pepperami (processed I know Blush - result of late night online shopping order before I'd read the rules), more coffee and cream

Justmuddlingalong · 26/05/2016 19:03

Have gone through loads of loo roll-am peeing like a cart horse.
My knickers are getting baggy.
I have found that I do actually have cheekbones, despite having had no sight of them in years.
My fridge has never been so full of fresh, natural food.
I have broken the 10 stone something mark.
5 weeks on MNetters, I have lost 11 pounds!!!!
This way of eating works. Thank you all for the hints, tips, recipes and encouragement.
Have a great weekend BIWI

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 19:06

Justmuddlingalong, great, 11 pounds is amazing! well done!
Yes this way of eating works (unless you eat konjac Grin)

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 19:07

if we make it to the end of bootcamp (and I for one am determined) should we then have a post-BC maintenance thread, as I think weight loss maintenance is half the battle.

ReggaeShark · 26/05/2016 19:15

Feeling sick. Made myself eat 3 tiny lamb chops for dinner. The thought of any more water almost makes me gag. But at least the no carb flu has gone (wan smile).

ReggaeShark · 26/05/2016 19:17

Congrats Just. I'd love to lose 11 pounds.

monkeyfacegrace · 26/05/2016 19:25

Struggling tonight. Think its because I know that from tomorrow I'm on holiday which equals wine wine and more wine.

So hard not to binge on cake. Really trying to fight.

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 19:29

monkeyfacegrace, hang in there. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well...
What happened with the noodles in the end today? Did you eat some again?

Eva50 · 26/05/2016 19:34

B FF Yogurt
L chicken salad with mayonnaise
D moussaka with buttered cabbage.

I made the moussaka posted by BIWI on the recipe thread. It was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately I ate too much of it. I'm stuffed now.

lexloofah · 26/05/2016 19:46

wanheda your cauli risotto looks lovely, had to smile just a little at your use of the word 'bung' given konjac-gate!

still, must be awful but just think of the whoosh you might have when you finally get some relief. There will be an inbetween bootcamps thread but yes perhaps an on going maintenance thread might be useful once we are goal, I will need it when I get there to prevent backsliding

justmuddling that is brill

meatzza for tea at the loofah residence this evening, scoffed in no time as always, would be great cold, as picnic food, I have been known to have leftovers cold for breakfast

Justmuddlingalong · 26/05/2016 19:48

DP, who's still eating carb heavy, suggested tonight that he'll just eat what I'm having. I think the fact that his boobs are now bigger than mine may have something to do with it. He has also said that I should go shopping for smaller jeans. Am going to hang off until I've lost a bit more. I wish I had found LC years ago. KOKO everyone. Star

boldlygoingsomewhere · 26/05/2016 19:51

I'm also feeling a bit sick today- like there is no room in my stomach. Have had quite small meals as a result! Hoping it passes and I feel better tomorrow.

Congrats on the 11lb loss!

monkeyfacegrace · 26/05/2016 19:56

still no affect from todays noodles yet.

I've had fried halloumi for breakfast, noodles with pasatta and a packet of pulled pork with grated cheese for lunch, snack of a cheese wedge, and a chicken ceaser salad at pizza express for tea. Too much cheese but hey ho.

I've come on today though so am generally feeling bleugh.

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 20:06

*Monkeyfacegrace I'm really impressed that you dared eat the Konjac Devils again after Konjac-gate. I wouldn't dare.

Yes when my period came too I felt rotten.

Wintersea · 26/05/2016 20:10

Sorry to those feeling sick today...Flowers
I posted and ran wanheda so missed yr Wagamamas suggestions - next time! (A big fave of DD do often go if eating out). Had lots of green tea, chicken starter then steak salad. (With dressing which did tAste sweet but there think there was very little of it) going to drink lots of green tea and camomile this eve and try to down at least a litre of water...
Congratulations just on the 11lb loss - that's great! We need a low carb symbol equivalent to cake
Obviously not a pack of konjac noodles!

wombattoo · 26/05/2016 20:24

BIWI and Sayrra - have a good weekend.

still there is usually an ongoing chat thread when bc ends, but it does get quiet. Hope you've recovered from the after effects of the noodles Grin

Family came for tea this evening and I ate something I shouldn't have. Sigh

I have had the konjac noodles but they were called Naked (I think). I put them in a chicken soup and they were lovely. No problem at all.

3perfectweemen · 26/05/2016 20:28

Hey I never got to log my weight this week as husband took laptop to work.. can someone kindly add it for me? I am138.8lbs
It was my 30th yesterday and went to my favourite restaurant and it was slot of carbs but good news is I only ate the ribs and wings as the chilli fries and battered chicken didn't agree with me I took one bite and said it wasn't worth it. All my family took me for meal Sunday night and I did cheat slot but thankfully I didn't gain I stayed the same Grin
Just had eggs and coconut oil butter cloud bread today as breakfast dinner tea as I don't want it catching up with me .

3perfectweemen · 26/05/2016 20:29

Slot? Meant alot

MushroomTree · 26/05/2016 20:48

Awful carb-tastic lunch today Sad I had a client meeting and he said he'd provide lunch.... turns out he raided the supermarket for every know carb! I ate as little as possible but he knows I have a healthy appetite so it would have seemed very odd and rude if I'd turned down food.

Trying to combat that with cheese, ham and asparagus for dinner. Tomorrow is a new day!

reader77 · 26/05/2016 20:54

I'm getting a bit of bc fatigue...my body isn't craving carbs anymore but my mind is! I would have convinced myself I deserve a cheat meal by now if it wasn't for bc.

B- cabbage and a little mince with a fried egg
L- roast chicken
D- chilli with cheese and buttered broccoli

LaserShark · 26/05/2016 20:55

B: Greek yoghurt and cinnamon.
L: leftover moussaka and salad
D: pork belly slices, cauliflower mash and green beans

I had some ham and cheese as a snack, a couple of creamy coffees and loads of water.

I am a funny combination of really energetic and efficient and also exhausted beyond measure. My calves ache like nothing I've ever experienced. Wondering if I need a bit more salt.

stilllovingmysleep · 26/05/2016 21:01

Lasershark how strange I feel exactly the same. Very energetic and upbeat and yet at certain moments exhausted / achey etc.

Reader77 makes sense to get BC fatigue. I too have had it big time since yesterday with Konjac-gate. Waking up to full on nausea is NOT fun and in the middle of the night felt like the confirmation of all the worst cliches for LC eating. DH was very worried too!
