Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Tesco do cauliflower rice and courgetti. What got me yesterday is the cauliflower rice was about 7g of carbs per 100g and I'd have eaten the whole 350g pot!

Mookbark · 24/05/2016 12:56

Thanks Gcal I have almond butter in the cupboard from a previous BC and never really knew what to do with it apart from eating a spoonful in passing I'm definitely going to make this next week.

Xoticdreamz · 24/05/2016 13:43

I'm only 5ft 1 . My happy weight is between 8.4 and 8.7 but I haven't been anywhere near those for about 2 years . I was climbing up to about 9.10 . I ve got no excuses re pregnancy as my 3 are 21,18 and 8 .

I carry my weight on my bum and thighs and more recently my stomach .

I am loving this diet though, I have done a version before and lost weight but went on a two week holiday straight afterwards and piled it back on .

I'm hoping this is more a kick off to an actual lifestyle of eating rather than a quick fix.

anniebambammie · 24/05/2016 14:14

Oh yum Gcal they look incredible!!

lexloofah · 24/05/2016 14:15

For those of you with number envy I am 5ft exactly and after multiple boot camps starting at 165lb am now 127lb and would like to lose another 10lb but ideally would like to be about 5 inches taller instead! but we all have to work with what we have

I wonder how many BIWI inspired lbs have been lost since the first boot camp, I bet it is many, many peoples worth

Wintersea · 24/05/2016 15:01

Just bought some of that Coyu yoghurt substitute - had a few teaspoonfuls and trying not to raid the fridge and polish off the lot as it would be pure greed rather than hunger! Chicken thighs and cold veg salad for lunch (mostly cauli and broccoli with chilli) a few stray chickpeas in the cauli (was out) but surely 3-4 chickpeas will be fine!

Wintersea · 24/05/2016 15:22

?

Iamdobby63 · 24/05/2016 15:26

monkeyfacegrace 7g carbs per 100g - did the cauli rice have anything else added to it?

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 24/05/2016 15:28

monkeyface that doesn't sound right! Cauliflower is only 1.9 g CHO per 100 g.

KP86 · 24/05/2016 15:54

In total I've lost the same amount of weight as my 2yo DS. It really puts it into perspective when you look at it like that!

Yesterday and today have been a bit tough to not continue my carb rampage of Sunday. But I'm getting through it.

B: eggs and mushrooms in butter, creamy coffee
L: mushroom soup with a swirl of cream
D: will be home made curried sausages with Debbie and Andrew's perfect pork snags, mushrooms, broccoli, cauli with zucchini and asparagus on the side.
Snacks if needed (avoided so far, yay!): pork scratchings, 80% choc ganache {equal amounts choc and double cream, usually around 25g, melted in the microwave} and SF jelly .

Not much activity, we've had a lllooonnnggg day so far with a very early wake up from DS and so I may go for a brisk walk when DH gets home.

Water also not much yet, but working on it.

eleven59 · 24/05/2016 16:16

Hi all.

I've had a good day - I'm finding this surprisingly easy...

B - leftover moussaka with oopsie rolls
L - Halloumi, cherry toms, lettuce with more oopsies
D - Cheesy creamy garlicky cauliflower chicken with broccoli and courgette

Drinks - 2 bullet coffees, 1 cream coffee, 1 tea, water

Incredible to be able to eat all this delicious food in the name of weight loss and fitness! Kids had same dinner as me and there were no complaints.

Wintersea · 24/05/2016 17:01

I know

MothershipG · 24/05/2016 17:38

Last night Rob Lowe donated some Apple laptops to my old school and I was chased by wolves while waiting for a bus and then my back teeth fell out.

Today I am tired; which is making things hard as it's one the the things most likely to make me eat so I'm struggling, craving bread, chocolate, crisps, pretzels, fruit, nuts, pretty much anything I can't have. Sad

On the plus side I have been cooking; belly pork with a dry rub of salt, garlic powder, cumin, paprika and mustard which has turned out rather well. I also cooked up aubergine with it, which is lush. I've cooked some LC sausages ready for tomorrow's lunch at work and some mushrooms stuffed with boursin and extra thick cream to have for tea tonight.

Pretty much all of which are crying out for some lovely sourdough to have with them.

I tried toasting cloud bread this morning which turned out well, makes them firmer, less cakey.

I got this fantastic 1l infuser water bottle which has made drinking all the water much easier.

Wintersea · 24/05/2016 17:50

Lol - didn't mean to post that!

StrawberryLeaf · 24/05/2016 17:57

Feeling stuffed after a delicious dinner Grin

Today has been:

B - left over toast ham with eggs scrambled with butter and cream

L - mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, vinegarette, lettuce salad

D - chilli with no beans, added jalapeños, cheese, Greek yoghurt (no sour cream in), courgetti noodles and broccoli

Was such a nice evening meal.

I've had no snacks today and I usually do. Interestingly I usually have yoghurt but I had a little more time. Wonder if the bigger, fattier breakfast has helped keep my hunger at bay all day?

StrawberryLeaf · 24/05/2016 17:58

Arrrggh that should say roast ham not toast - what a typo!!!! Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 24/05/2016 17:58

m.tesco.com/h5/groceries/r/www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=287631842

Here it says 3g. I was sure it was 7g in the shop. So the whole pot is 10g. That's okay, right?

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/05/2016 17:59

Re numbers. I'm 5ft at a push, I'm currently 145lbs I could do with being 120, 25lbs to lose seems like tins so I like to break it down in half stone goals, my next will be 140lbs.

ClopySow · 24/05/2016 18:05

Bloody hell.

I bought new scales. Either the ones i was using were wrong in the first place, or i have gained 10lbs since friday.

I don't understand it. I'm back at the weight i was at when i first started, yet in the last month i've lost 4 inches off my waist and under my boobs, 3 from my boobs and 2 from my belly. My clothes look too big.

I'm right before my period and i had a boozy weekend, but i measure myself on friday and again last night and my inches haven't increased again.

So. I'll put my weight on the spreadsheet and i've gained 10lbs.

Sakes.

Patterkiller · 24/05/2016 18:05

Mmmmm toast -dreamily stares into the past-
B soft boiled egg with buttered asparagus
L boiled egg with cress and mayonnaise
D roast chicken creamed cabbage with butter creamed sprouts with butter cauliflower cheese.

1 coffee
Water

nekobus · 24/05/2016 18:35

I've managed to weigh myself and 177 which is 4.8 off. Very happy with that following boozy Saturday night and have been strict BC since Sunday.

B - 2 babybel, 1 hb egg with butter, celery & boursin
L - salad of leaves, olives, celery & boursin, chorizo & lots of dressing
D - will be steak and veg
S - chunk of brie spread with butter

Oh dear, looks like I am eating an awful lot of cheese! I usually have more ready cooked meat in fridge to grab for breakfast or lunch on office days but just haven't been prepared.

margaritasbythesea · 24/05/2016 18:51

I did that too Clopy. Well annoying. It'll be the scales though not you.

Iamdobby63 · 24/05/2016 18:52

ClopySow Oh dear, look you know you are smaller and have lost weight, it's just the scales. You could always edit to add the 10lbs to your starting weight, that way you won't feel like you are on the back foot until you 'catch up'.

If it's any consolation the same thing happened to me when I changed mine, but I soon got used to it.

wombattoo · 24/05/2016 18:52

Hello everyone. I've been enjoying reading the thread.
K86 and momof I've updated the spreadsheet.

I was invited for a bbq this evening for a relative's birthday. I had 1 burger and 2 sausages (obv without bread) but I don't think they were lc.
B: Roast salmon and a boiled egg with mayo
L: 2chicken thighs with skin on

Veryflummoxed · 24/05/2016 18:53

Work men occupying my toilets and kitchen again today, so went easy on the water and food was what I could grab from the fridge in passing so ending up with frequent snacks.

Olives
Yogurt
Pork scratchings
Left over beef

Dinner was chicken thigh, cauliflower cheese, spinach.

Im trying not to snack and to listen to my hunger signals so feel like I've not done too well today. House back to ourselves tomorrow so I'll do much better I'm sure.
