Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Thanks BIWI, I had a feeling F&Bs was going to be a difficult place to eat at :(

BagpussOhSagpuss · 16/05/2016 20:15

Hi wombatt thanks for all your help, I managed to add myself to the spreadsheet earlier so one less for you to do.

wombattoo · 16/05/2016 20:21

That's fine Bagpuss. Good luck

Hi All [waves]. I did brilliantly with this woe last year, then had an extended break and and have told myself that I would get back to it pretty much every Monday this year. This is the first Monday that i have not fallen off the waggon so hurrah and glad you are all here. Thank you.

So, it's been a day which started with two microwaved scrambled eggs and two slices smoked salmon, grilled lemon chicken burger, mayo and lettuce for lunch without the bun plus broccoli, spinach and mange tout. I only had a dab of mayo as at was at work and i haven't managed to get any confirmation about the ingredients as yet. Make my own at home and it doesn't taste or look like that. Caesar salad with lettuce, anchovies and two grilled chicken thighs and home made oily dressing for supper. On my third litre of water and feeling very positive. Hurrah.

I don't find weighing myself but have measured my waist this morning and plan to measure progress as inches lost from today's x inches.

WanHeda · 16/05/2016 20:29

Well done to everyone who had a successful day :)

reader77 · 16/05/2016 20:30

Day 1 has gone very well Smile How about everyone else?

Not hungry at all, which feels quite weird even though I have LC before.

SayrraT · 16/05/2016 20:31

wombat thats some more rows added.

Thank you so much for all the spreadsheet updating you are doing. I really appreciate it. You are a Star

wombattoo · 16/05/2016 20:33

Thanks Sayrra. It's the least I can do Smile

SingToMeInFrench · 16/05/2016 20:34

Could I be added please? Ta Flowers

wombattoo · 16/05/2016 20:43

Ok - I think everyone who asked is now on the spreadsheet.
RoundThebend and SingToMe - you didn't post your weights on the thread, so you can add them to the sheet. Your names at the bottom.

wombattoo · 16/05/2016 20:44

CanisLupus · 16/05/2016 20:59

Evening all - some lovely sounding food on this thread, I shall be taking notes.

A good day here, haven't felt hungry or tired which I was expecting, which is a bonus. LC helps with my skin (currently hideous) and energy levels and I will lose the wheat-induced tummy ache too. Have fallen into bad habits with white bread which I am determined to stop - so bad for me in many ways. Will add weight to the spreadsheet of fabulousness once I can get on the desktop.

B - full fat Greek yog + black coffee
S - green juice (half Avocado, Cucumber, spinach, tiny bit of ginger)
L - BIWI's marvellous low carb bacon quiche without the base - seriously delish - with spinach and Avocado salad
S - olives and cheese
D - quiche and salad again, forgot to defrost curry, that will do for tomorrow.

Feeling good to be part of the BC gang!

Billionnairewannabe · 16/05/2016 21:16

Day 1 - Happy to be back! Thanks to BIWI & Sayyra as always - this bootcamp gives me the motivation that I can't seem to find on my own! Forgot to weigh straight away but happy that when I did, after slugging water, I was only 3lb more than end of Dec (my last bootcamp).

Breakfast - 2boiled eggs, tuna, cherry tom (?)
Lunch - cheese salad
Dinner - pastry less quiche, salad, roasted veg.

Drunk 21/2 litres water so far.

Oddly, had awful headache all day - can't believe its carb flu setting in so quickly?? Now started sneezing so must be coming down with something.

Well done all for Day 1. Onwards & Downwards;)

Equiem89 I'm just about to go back on metformin to see if it helps me conceive. I've been off it since getting pregnant with ds at the end of 2013. I just need to figure out how to build up the doses.

Wintersea · 16/05/2016 21:22

Hello everyone!
Can I join you?
I can't add myself to the spreadsheet (on mobile which may or may not be an issue! Please could someone add me

Thank you!!

Equiem89 · 16/05/2016 21:24

auntie your GP will be able to help you. I think I took one tablet for a week or two then built up to two a day. Obviously don't just go on what I say!

MrsHenryWinter · 16/05/2016 21:41

I'm a day late but could I be added to the spreadsheet too?

MrsHenryWinter 182 lbs Blush

Thank you.

OneMoreForExtra · 16/05/2016 21:42

Finally staggered onto the thread and entered my starting weight - 2lb over bailing out of a bootcamp last year, to my shame... I'm one of those who lose the first slab of weight quite happily and then plateau for months, and suspect low-level thyroid ishoos, but I'm getting tests done and having another crack because weight loss or not I always feel so much better on this woe. And, okayyyyyy, I'll start the shred again too...

B: omelette, BPC
L: avocado, chorizo, mushrooms, oil, celery sticks with philly
S: babybells (too many)
D: chicken stir-fry with lots of veg; greek yog, cream and cinnamon

ToomuchChocolatemeansBootcamp · 16/05/2016 21:46

Sounds yummy AuntieMaggie!

RaisinGirls · 16/05/2016 21:48

thank you to whoever added my stats to the spreadsheet.

Not a great start to the bootcamp today. I had a coffee with cream for breakfast, but then due to travelling for work today and lots of meetings I didn't eat again unitl this evening. I did eat fairly BC friendly though - chicken leg with the skin on in nice buttery stock, with a basic salad with olive oil dressing. So its not that I ate food on the no list, but didn't manage the three meals or the water intake.

Must get better at planning. Food shop arrived this evening so off to make a chicken salad with mayo and oil for lunch tomorrow.

SayrraT · 16/05/2016 22:05

equim I replied to you earlier after you said about crazy dreams but my phone obviously lost the post.

I always have mad dreams but they get better/worse (more crazy) on BC, I love them Grin

To all the newbies, someone will have a nightmare about eating cake at some point in BC. It always happens Smile

yongnian · 16/05/2016 22:16

Did anyone figure out how to get the Google spreadsheet app to allow us to update...downloaded it but can't seem to get any further...
First day of bc saw me finally succumb to the d&v bug the dcs have had all weekend...so eaten virtually nothing...what I did manage was mostly low carb tho. Not much point listing it as it was minimal.
Not a great start but onwards and downwards, as they say!

readyforno2 · 16/05/2016 22:18

I haven't got round to trying the spreadsheet yet, I'll go on the laptop if need be and I can remember my password

B ff yog with double cream
L cauliflower and broccoli cheese with crispy bacon
D tuna with spring onion, green peppers and ff Mayo on lettuce cups
S ff yog with double cream

I probably didn't eat enough for dinner but I was heading out to aerobics and didn't want anything too heavy.

Probably around 3-4 litres of water and two coffee with cream.

There are some really yummy meals on here already.. Keep them coming, great inspiration
