Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Is it too late to join please?

WanHeda · 20/05/2016 15:58

I shouldn't think so Dream, read through all the info in the OP and read the thread then jump right in! Make sure to familiarise yourself with all the rules or BIWI might get her stick out Grin

'Exploded' babybels wombattoo?!

Jemmima · 20/05/2016 16:06

margaritasbythesea it sounds like your migraine was triggered by low blood sugar/hypoglycaemia. I suffer them and if I go without food for too long or eat too little carbs then a migraine attack can occur which knocks me out for 24 hours in bed. Could be that bootcamp is not the best idea for you and bootcamp light with more carbs would ease you over the first couple of weeks and then you could go a bit stricter if you wanted when your body has adjusted.

Jemmima · 20/05/2016 16:07

margaritasbythesea sorry, hadn't highlighted it. See post above.

Nateismine · 20/05/2016 16:08

I forgot to log my starting weight Blush. Please can someone computer literate add me at my initial 136. Thanks.

Mookbark · 20/05/2016 16:52

Nate I've added you weight, although I wish it were mine as that's very close to my target, which I'm miles away from at the moment. Grin
How everyone enjoys their difficult weekends. Remember, it isn't obligatory to drink socially if you don't want to. I say that as a previously heavy drinker who now drinks very little. I don't have to worry about a socially difficult weekend as I am working. I'm in the midst of working 24 out of 26 days, but then I've got a week off and I can't wait.
The food on here all sounds really lovely.
Yesterday, we went out for dinner and I had the perfect lchf starter - poached egg on a bed of prosciutto ham, with hollondaise sauce and asparagus spears. It was superb, the ham just made it. Then I had a bunless burger with salad, but made a rookie mistake. I thought that as I had specifically asked for no bun and no fries, but salad instead that they would think that I may be a bit cautious with dressings. However, the salad was covered in a very sweet, citrous tasting dressing. The burger was great but I'm annoyed with myself for not asking for the dressing on the side. Then watched DH tuck into his pudding whilst I had a coffee with cream.Halo

Today I have had:
B- 2x creamy coffee, then at about 12.00 I had halloumi and olives
L - Just had it now as I wasn't hungry. Was supposed to be tinned mackerel (in oil) with salad, but I didn't fancy the mackerel, so I just chopped an avocado up instead. Do you think that is ok? The salad had a generous serving of hm vinaigrette
D - will be spag bol with courgetti.
S - spicy chai almond milk latte

Have a good weekend everyone.

Nateismine · 20/05/2016 17:22

Thanks Mook. My target is 130. I was 156 at the beginning of last Bootcamp - so it does work! People are starting to notice I've lost weight which is motivating. Only problem is that I think I'll need to stop dairy to get the final few pounds off, and for me it is the dairy that makes this WOE delicious!

StrawberryLeaf · 20/05/2016 17:32

Hope everyone is having a good day, I feel good, feel like I have a bit more energy than usual Grin

Today has been/will be;

B - Greek yoghurt, my 1 cup of tea with splash of milk

S - chunk of cheese and coffee with cream

L - out for lunch (thanks for the recommendations on the menu). I went for a burger, left the bun, had a lovely side salad with olives and herbs so hopefully managed to avoid lots of carbs. Enjoyed some mayo on my burger

D - I've got a pork curry in the oven, loved the butter chicken last night so I'm going for a take on that with the spices, cream, butter but with pork and slow cooked this time to tenderise the pork. I'll have it with spinach and cauliflower (cauli rice if I can be bothered!)

WanHeda · 20/05/2016 17:54

Dinner tonight was a sort-of Tapas style. Very yummy though!

Veryflummoxed · 20/05/2016 18:06

Breakfast
(Left over) pork curry.

Lunch
tuna and boiled egg on green leaves and cucumber (oil and vinegar dressing) Cole slaw made with celeriac.

Dinner
Roast breast of lamb. Celeriac mash. Broccoli. (Was meant to be roast radishes too but somebody forgot to cook them)

Mint tea. Black tea but mostly water. I'm on target for 3.5 litres.

Every one is doing so well and eating such lovely food.

CathemeralChild · 20/05/2016 18:24

I'm missing my Friday night wine/ G&T. :(
I've bought a bottle of sparkling water and I'm going to add in rosemary and lemon rind to jazz it up. Maybe even in a gin goblet over ice. Grin

CathemeralChild · 20/05/2016 18:31

I can recommend sour cream and jalapeños dolloped on top of just about anything!
Especially eggs scrambled with cumin seeds, smoked paprika, and garlic salt. A sprinkling of grated cheese and some fresh chopped coriander. Yum! Mexican breakfast!

I had it with chopped raw courgette and a small sliced tomato too, all dressed with oil and salt.

margaritasbythesea · 20/05/2016 18:44

Thanks for posting all your meals. very helpful.

And thanks wombattoo and jemmima.nI am feeling a bit better. I had just had lunch when it started. Would that make sense.? Im going to stick ii out for the moment, out if curiosity and the fact i have already found it quite difficult so if l dont persist now I may never start again!. Either that makes some sort of sense or I am a masochist,

StrawberryLeaf · 20/05/2016 18:58

Wahenda that looks incredible!

StrawberryLeaf · 20/05/2016 18:59

WanHeda sorry for the name misspell Blush

eleven59 · 20/05/2016 19:05

Another good day for me. In fact I'm enjoying this way of eating with all the tasty food! I have not felt hungry or shaky and I definitelty have more energy. I wish I'd discovered this a long time ago!

B Leftover cheese and ham muffin thingies
L At a restaurant Salad leaves with baked aubergine and goat cheese
D Tapas styley with the kids: Rocket, courgetti, aubergine, blue cheese, praws, tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, asparagus, salami, brie, tomatoes, guacomole - even the kids didn't miss the carbs.

Drinks: 3 bullet proof coffees, water

MissRainbowBrite · 20/05/2016 19:10

Still here and it's Friday, managed to stick to the rules all week but I'm really missing my Friday night wine. Managing to resist though and finishing off my 3rd bottle of water to complete my daily quota.

We're off to a family bbq tomorrow so should be fairly easy to stick to meat and salad but I'd love some drink ideas so I don't have to rock up with my bottle of Evian! It'll be hard to resist a drink tomorrow so would like to have something with some taste.

I had a sneaky jump on the scales and 4lbs have disappeared, very pleased Smile

ExtremelyConfidential · 20/05/2016 19:33

dreamqueen welcome, I see you came over from the style & beauty thread Grin

Did you get into the spreadsheet and find all the info you need to get started ok?

Patterkiller · 20/05/2016 19:41

I'm getting loads of lovely food ideas from everyone's posts. Next weeks shopping list done.
B Greek yogurt FF
L prawns in mayo with salad
D butter chicken.

I've just found a pizza recipe using shredded mozzarella for the base. It's on my list for Sunday night while the patters have their pizza treat.

WanHeda · 20/05/2016 19:46

Is that the fathead pizza Patter? If so, I have tried it and love it.

Jemmima · 20/05/2016 19:49

The cauliflower pizza base is yummy too. I add almond flour to it and it tastes breadth.
