Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Oh dear, I've confused you all.
62k was me at my lightest and where I'd like to be again, or maybe even a tad less.
I'm currently 70 which is a BMI of 25.

WanHeda · 17/05/2016 14:08

Shared this platter with my daughter for lunch today, the bread was for her.

Only day 2 and I couldn't face another egg! I do have a headache and feel a bit yuck. I hope this is as bad as it gets.

B. Total yogurt (100g) it's the only thing I've weighed but I could easily eat the whole pot. A babybel, 1strip of pepper, strips of cucumber, 1 lc sausage and a slice of ham. It didn't look as much as it sounds!

L. Chicken salad with Mayonaise and Stilton.

D. Venison curry (no onion) with cauliflower rice fried in butter.

I'm missing my berries but determined to do this properly. I will need to go through the recipe thread for some curry ideas. I love curry.

flyright · 17/05/2016 14:28

going okay here

seem to be BC light though - didn't realise berries were out initially

today I've had

b:total ff yoghurt
l:frittata made with eggs, ff milk, leeks peppers and mushrooms and diced feta
D: burger, leeks, celeriac

the feta in the frittata makes a big difference - its quite tasty

snacks are cheese, 3 x brazil nuts, cooked chicken

tonight is book club which will involve 1 glass of wine

So a few breaches of the regulations Blush but it seems to be okay for me at this level - 205 pounds

I'm a daily weigher - I know, I know - and the trend is down

Iamdobby63 · 17/05/2016 14:28

Eva50 make sure you are having salt. Try an oxo drink. It will pass.

Patterkiller · 17/05/2016 14:34

Today so far
B mushrooms in butter with fried egg
L dry smoked salmon fillet with spinach and really crispy mushrooms
D I'm still deciding.
I need to up my water. I keep forgetting to drink. I'm just inviting cystitis to visit.

BIWI · 17/05/2016 15:02

NO NUTS OR WINE ON BOOTCAMP!

Seriously. It's really important to get these two weeks right.

I'm feeling a bit less carb fluey this afternoon, I think maybe it was lack of food this morning making me feel bad. Making up for it now!

B - Greek yoghurt and egg in a cup with butter
S - bullet proof coffee. 1 slice Parma ham
L - 3 eggs scrambled with butter, 2 slices of halloumi cheese, bowl of yoghurt (I think I had too much yoghurt today)
D - aubergine, bacon and cheese bake

flyright · 17/05/2016 15:31

Oh BIWI - I know you're right, but it's a big ask.

How's Moscow? - I had a bizarre trip to Ekaterinberg a few years ago and dont remember food being easy despite some extremely fancy restaurants - so fancy that your bag got its own little deckchair type thing to sit in so it didn't have to go on the floor. My computer rucksack thing wasn't quite what they had in mind Grin

Kummerspeck · 17/05/2016 15:43

I have just started today and so far, so good.

I've noticed a couple of mentions to limiting fat, is it 45ml of cream, butter or mayo? Should we be limiting it or is it just a question of be sensible and don't overdo it?

B: 1 rasher bacon, 2 scrambled eggs with a bit of butter and splash of cream
L: Chicken, salad leaves and home-made coleslaw in mayo
T: Will be something involving chicken and asparagus as have loads of both

StrawberryLeaf · 17/05/2016 15:52

Kummerspec I'm a newby to this so no expert but it says in the rules on the spreadsheet that you should limit dairy apart from butter which is fine to use liberally.

StuntNun · 17/05/2016 15:53

No need to limit fat at all. I've been up to 85% of my calories from fat on some days and still lost weight.

StuntNun · 17/05/2016 15:53

Could someone on an iPhone or iPad who can't access the spreadsheet but has the Sheets app please open Mumsnet in a browser window and try clicking on this link for me please.

IndianaJone · 17/05/2016 16:04

Hello all! Been waiting for this. I can't seem to add myself for some reason - despite downloading the s/sheet app. Would someone be able to add me? Starting weight 206lbs.

Iamdobby63 · 17/05/2016 16:05

The 45 ml of cream is the maximum I allow myself personally. Didn't mean to confuse. The spreadsheet states to limit dairy (not butter), fat itself is not limited.

Gcalgske · 17/05/2016 16:17

flyright hubby and I used to be food tourists and travel to go to 3* Michelin restaurants. Quite often they'd bring out a little 'bag chair' pouffe thing obviously expecting a designer bag. My best £50 John Lewis 'sensible' bag got quite a bit of side eye on it's brocade throne in more than one top notch eaterie....

CiderwithBuda · 17/05/2016 16:30

I used to live in Bulgaria and it is seen as unlucky to put your handbag on the floor - I assume it's the same in Russia. It's to do with it being easy for the money to 'run' out.

WanHeda · 17/05/2016 16:36

I was given a handbag pouffe stool when ate at The Kitchin, it did amuse me the first time :D

Titsalinabumsquash · 17/05/2016 16:41

I feel awful, exhausted, aching and headache, I'm also feeling irritated at everyone and everything... Work should be fun tonight.

Veryflummoxed · 17/05/2016 16:42

I'm intrigued by your radishes Humphrey cobblers Is that melted butter or hard.

BIWI low carb mash fried like a bubble and squeak, what a brilliant idea. I'm going to try that with an egg on.

KP86 · 17/05/2016 16:49

StuntNun I opened your link but no difference

Veryflummoxed · 17/05/2016 16:52

I did stuntnun. Doing that would allow me to enter. I've followed all other suggestions with no luck.

YvonneK71 · 17/05/2016 17:03

Can someone advice please . I am about to start my low carb diet but worried as when I did it last year (lost 6 stone) I also lost half of my hair. Subsequently I came off the diet and my hair shedding stopped. Unfortunately I have put back 1.5 stone and I am desperate to loose it. The idea of loosing my hair again is upsetting me yet I know that low carb is the only way I can loose weight.

Veryflummoxed · 17/05/2016 17:08

Sorry StuntNun just looked again wondering what I do now. It would only allow me to enter where something is already entered. Not on an empty weight cell. (As far as I can make out.) Hmm

wombattoo · 17/05/2016 17:12

Hello everyone. I've been through the thread and gathered all the names and weights. There currently isn't room to enter you but I will when it's sorted.

SAYRRA Can you add another 9 rows please when you have chance?
