Well done, Stunt and Lex! And everyone else also
I'm back in the game for this last week - and a slight loss from last time I weighed too: being away for a month has shown me some important things (I fear my mother's scales were actually correct!) the main one of which is that dairy is absolutely not my friend. I was getting very cheesed off (see what I did there
?) earlier in BC when I was sticking rigidly to the rules, and putting on weight even so - now I've been away, had very, very little dairy but (despite not following the rules 100%) still lost a little. I did the shopping yesterday, and just bought some parmesan to use for fake quiches - and ate the left-over halloumi for lunch: but now it's official, I'm afraid - be gone, delicious cheesiness of my soul!
I'm back to work tomorrow, so it will be a little bit easier in terms of not prowling round the house looking for something to eat to fill the time - but I shall have to avoid the lure of colleagues trying to make me go out for cake! The disadvantage of being The Fat One is whenever someone needs to escape, they always ask you, as they know you'll never shame them for having cheesecake
I am practising a soulful look, though, and a sad little shake of the head, for when I reveal that dairy and I are undergoing a formal separation.
Just going to catch up with last week's thread - I can't believe it's been ten weeks already! I've been up and down through the process, but now I've got my head round it (at last!) I'm planning to carry on. I've still got another 8 stone or more to lose, but seeing everyone's successes and stories is keeping me going - thanks, guys!
