BIWI · 21/03/2016 07:06

Morning all.

And so we come to our last week.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness, to appear only one more time at our final weigh-in next Monday.

Still time to get rid of a pound or so!

Good luck all

Morning all.

I'm properly poorly, which rounds off this very less-than-successful Bootcamp nicely for me Sad. Throat and chest infection, so feeling very sore and sorry for myself. The only thing I've fancied eating at all has usually been carbtastic, and all the throat sweets are full sugar/glucose, etc. But frankly, if the pharmacist told me to swig bleach and suck coal I would have done that for any kind of relief!

Anyway, here's the final week's chat thread

CharlieSierra yep def staying on with this. There will be an ongoing thread so see you on there. In fact I reckon I am going to do 2 weeks strict boot camp starting tomorrow as had a few (more than a few!) bad days in last couple of weeks. Sts last week but don't think I will be that lucky this week so will weigh tomorrow and use that as my new starting point.

It's possible you're overthinking things Wand. If you're sticking to the rules then give it a while longer. This is a long game and it's totally normal for your weight to go up along the way. Most people reckon you can't build muscle and lose fat at the same time unless you're new to lifting so if you're doing a lot of exercise then you need to decide whether you want to gain or cut. If you're lifting big then you could look into carb cycling or carb nite. If you want to pm me with more info then I could make some suggestions.

wand I'm certain I've hear someone talk about this on a previous BC, it's normal to stall and even gain a bit but long term you will still see a downward trend.
Are there sweeteners in your protein shake?
It doesn't sound like you have much fat , your calorie intake must be very low!

Gcalgske · 26/03/2016 21:52

I know you are working out a lot but maybe shifting the macros a wee bit towards higher fat would help? I know BC isn't strictly keto but I like Maria Emmerichs recipes and she has a good keto calculator which has helped me get loss moving again.

It's difficult to tell without knowing your macros Wand but it's possible upping the fat would help. It's also possible it's a natural stall and KOKO will work.

Wand how much protein are you eating? I was stalled and seriously over doing the protein. Maybe list out some days so we can trouble shoot? I will be continuing BC x

Oh no gcal what a shame, hope she is better now. Chilli was fab, lovely and rich. Brown Avos are grim, even a smoothie wouldn't disguise them I don't think.

charlie welcome back, yes I will be carrying on so see you on the inbetween thread next week

There's a reason I haven't watched these films before Grin but I'm up to date on all the to shows I watch and I'm avoiding my dissertation!
Currently watching French Dirty but I have sat through not one, but two nic cage films and one with Jessica Lange/Halle Berry that I think is older than me.

I don't think avocados are okay brown, because they taste pretty grim. I've got a multipack of ready to eat avos that are rock hard Angry

Definitely carrying on charlie hopefully there'll be a nice chat thread to keep things going between BCs

Is anyone carrying on after the end of this bootcamp? I've had so much shit going on I've just not done it, but I'm finally in the groove, have had a really good week or so and have lost. I'd really like to carry on if anyone is interested?

It was lovely pata, what are you watching on Netflix? I'm having the same dilemma as I did with sky where I get fed up paying as there never seems to be anything on it I want to watch...

Chilli sounds awesome lex. Shame about the avocado. Happens to me all the time.

Does anyone know if they are ok when brown? I mean I'll eat (or would have eaten) bruised fruit - like apples or bananas - is it just bruising or is it fooshty or taste bad? I may have to be brave and try the next brown one I get.

Today was a bit of a hodgepodge. Took DD to an Easter thing and she promptly vomitted everywhere (after a 1/2 mile walk) so had to walk back to the car with a vomiting 3yo Easter bunny, resplendent in ears and face paint, having a fit that she couldn't get a blooming chocolate. Confused

So planned lunch at the gorgeous on site cafe (duck salad Angry) didn't happen. Ended up with 1.5 HB eggs and a bit of cheddar wolfed down after I scrubbed the car seat (she was sick again on the drive home - in a bowl then poured it over herself and her seat 2 minutes from the house....Sad)

Dinner was a small steak and loads of buttered cauli. Have had 3 large coffees with unholy amounts of double cream to keep myself sane/going as she velcroed to me all afternoon. I had to sling her on my back to get the car seat cleaned.

Your dinner sounds lovely gcalgske

Having a total slob/sofa/pyjama day today watching shite films on Netflix.
I've had leftover cottage pie for breakfast, lunch and dinner Blush

Major chocolate cravings today, must take more care with my daily carb level because I shouldn't be thinking about it this much. Mainly the reason I've decided to stay at home, I don't trust myself near any shops Sad

this recipe popped up on my Facebook, so I'm sharing:

//lowcarbyum.com/sugar-free-coconut-cream-pie-recipe

It says 17.1g carbs for the whole thing. So divide that by however many slices - one tenth would be 1.7g. Slightly complicated to make, but it looks delicious and just the thing for a special occasion. Imagine taking it along to an Easter get together - I'm sure all the carby twats would be amazed that our "diet" allows this kind of thing!

Have a nice stay at your mum's, Stunt, and Happy Easter everyone.
