Thought we could post here when we've done a work-out and not clog up main thread. I'm really hoping that it will speed up the weight loss a bit and tone up my numerous wobbly bits!

I'm starting with L1 D1 of the 30 Day Shred tomorrow - DD doesn't think I can commit to it - I'll bloomin well show her!!

shredded today and yesterday. I also plan to do it tomorrow because I will have a three day gap Sat, Sun, Mon (weekend away).

Still doing Level 1 but trying hard to increase weights!
Lavender how is Callenetics different?

Mookbark · 18/02/2016 18:41

Hi all, well done on the exercising. I'm having a mad busy week as I'm at work and half of my colleagues are off for half term. I managed to run 4.5k on Tuesday. Still increasing my pace, so very pleased. Not had chance since then, but hoping to get off work early tomorrow and go to the gym on the way home from work.

lavenderhoney · 18/02/2016 22:03

Nigella, callentics gets results faster and lots of the excercise you can fit into your day, I can do the arm thing whilst waiting for the kettle for instance:)
theres a thread on here somewhere too. The leotards and bright blue eyeshadow on the video you can download are funny, and it seems v slow, but it does work.

You can buy the books on eBay I think, if you're interested.

Lots of walking and sight seeing this weekend, but before we leave tomorrow I have a couple of DVD s to do:)

NigellasGuest · 19/02/2016 12:28

Lavender thanks, I will look into that.

Shredded this morning but that's it until Tuesday now.

lavender that sounds good.
Well done on shredding Nigella, almost half way there.
I'm going to leave work now. I have my gym kit with me and will have time for both a run and a swim. I am so glad it is the weekend. Grin
Right, better go.

Mookbark · 20/02/2016 13:01

Did a 4K run again yesterday, increasing the pace again. Followed by 20 lengths in the pool. I think I may have overdone it somewhat! Definitely need a rest day today.

Mookbark · 21/02/2016 21:05

Am I the only one still posting? Ran again today. I was really stressed, so ran whilst chanting "fuck it" in my head. Was my fastest run yet. ShockGrin

mustbemad71 · 22/02/2016 08:50

Well done all! Sorry I've gone awol. No shredding (not sure it's been great for dreaded prolapse!) but I have been gardening and doing housework marathon this weekend so not sitting on bum! Finally dug out my Fitbit too which is currently charging. Loving the chant Mook!

I'm back Mook having been away for the weekend and not able to exercise - back to it tomorrow morning!
Must I don't think shredding can be good for a prolapse. Gardening sounds good - that's my therapy. Will try weeding using the "fuck it" mantra Stunt!

Mookbark · 23/02/2016 12:30

Hello must and Nigella, good to see you both.
Now, my quandary is, do I take my running kit away with me to the conference I'm going to? It would mean I would have to run outside if I used it. In February. In Scotland. Doesn't fill me with glee and I don't want to pack it if I'm not going to use it. I'm not the lightest of packers and I've got quite a lot of other things I need to take. Mmm, I'll see how much room I have left at the end.

Mookbark · 23/02/2016 20:22

I realised this afternoon that as I am a member of a Nuffield gym, I am allowed to use any. Co-incidently, there is one literally next door to my hotel in Glasgow! So, I've packed my kit, no excuse not to really.

NigellasGuest · 23/02/2016 22:19

well done Mook - you will enjoy your workout while you're away once you get started! I had a bit of a swim during my hotel stay - made up for no shredding, a little bit. I spent more time in the sauna though. Hopefully sweating away those fat molecules!

Blush I didn't shred this morning- I MUST do it tomorrow. Walked for an hour though, FWIW.

Mookbark · 24/02/2016 07:46

Walking is good Nigella I think it is underestimated how effective a form of exercise it is.
I may have packed my kit, doesn't mean I'll use it...

NigellasGuest · 24/02/2016 13:39

Use it Mook use it! Are you there yet?

I got back to shredding this morning so if I managed that, you can defo manage a session in a nice gym in Glasgow Wink

Mookbark · 26/02/2016 14:29

I did Nigella, yesterday. Did 4K. I won't have chance today, but at least I've managed once this week. I'll have to go Sat and Sun to reach my 3x week goal though, don't know if that is going to happen or not. Will definitely manage once but as I've been away most of the week, twice might be taking the michael somewhat. Grin

NigellasGuest · 27/02/2016 20:39

Well done Mook!

I don't have a goal as such, in fact I think I will stop logging how many shreds I've done. I'm just doing it 4 times a week, sticking to Level 1, and congratulating myself that I'm getting my heart rate up for 20 mins whenever I do it.

Mookbark · 28/02/2016 08:38

Ran again yesterday, only 3k but I was doing intervals, so was pushing myself.
Nigella I get to colour in a square in my journal everytime I exercise, which is obviously a big incentive to go. GrinGrin
