Ooh my goal is to be described as slim build on my next wanted poster
But seriously, I have a few goals
For this to be my final 'fat' summer
To lose two stones by September, (which means I'll be 14.10)
To get under 14st by January, when (fingers crossed) I hope to be starting a career change on the job training course
To get under thirteen thirteen stone so I can ride horses again at the stables down the road, I don't have a date for this... As quick as possible?
To reach my goal of 11 st before next autumn, when I'm hoping to get married (just need to get engaged first, but he's very obliging.....)
Wow, it feels really exciting to put those down.
I'm going to focus on the first one, two stones off by September. To break that down even more, I guess saying a monthly target of eight pounds, so averaging two per week.
And on that note, since ditching the dairy, I lost three pounds last week, although on the Monday I sts from the previous week, when I looked again on Tuesday, I'd dropped two pounds, and another came off on Wednesday. One pound went back on by Thursday, but has since remained the same. I haven't weighed since Thursday, but this morning I was still the same. I'll check tomorrow and see what's what.
I've followed everything to plan apart from dropping down from three litres of water to two. Reason being I'm suffering from chronic runs, and thought it may help. I don't for a minute think it's causing them, but I wanted to see if my weight loss noticed if I slightly cut back on the liquids. If any stalls occur, it'll be the first thing I tweak. And that said, I've run dry a couple of times already, so quite naturally got into a third litre. Plus my hot drinks are on top.
I have recently noticed my takeaway food has been getting a bit out of hand. I'm not worried about carbs, it's the cost and quality of the meat (it's generally either Lebanese or Indian) I realised I will have tandoori lamb chop/chicken/prawns about once a week. That's shocking isn't it? Or is it.... It's certainly not bloody cheap.
I am also suffering a bit from veg boredom. With my poorly guts, the veg options feel a bit limited right now. Am mainly living on salad, different lettuces, courgettes, aubergines, spinach and kale.
Anything else like broccoli, cauli, pak choi - actually anything seems to result in extremely sore guts and yet more squitters.
I've been to the gp today to start the ball rolling investigation wise, so must go back for blood tests next week.
So, this weeks goals - ditch the takeaways, keep an eye on water intake vs loss, and after severe knackered-ness I managed a brisk walk through the park today, so hope to continue daily with that, plus fit in two climbs at the indoor wall.
ewan what is in you bullet proof bovrils? I was nearly sick when I tried one using butter and oil.....
