Good morning!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation and delight

Glad to hear that we're getting less squishy in our clothes! I think that's a far more satisfying achievement than a number on the scales, actually.

One thing to remember as the weather seems to be warming up a little bit - finally! - don't forget to keep your water uptake up. (And remember to keep your salt levels up too)

If you are stepping on the scales this morning, I hope you're pleased with what they tell you.

heman lucky you for having a fab sister and all that tea ...

LexLoofah · 17/06/2015 19:32

B - leftover mashed swede and hm ragu fried in butter with an egg fried in the middle - felt like a lumberjack eating that but so good, great to use up spoonfuls of this and that, add an egg and call it brekkie

L - met a friend in a cafe, not a lot of choice, stupidly ordered fried fish without thinking it would be battered, it was a trendy thin tempura style so hopefully OK as could not be peeled off the fish. Got an asian slaw instead of cassava fries which was mostly cucumber in lime juice and a chilli

D - will be lc sausages, buttery cauli mash and broccoli

Hissy · 17/06/2015 20:06

Just did a variation on my frugal feast chicken! Awesome

Chicken legs, lemons quartered, rosemary sprigs, splash olive oil, splash of white wine chucked in, not strictly boot camp/lex, but it just flavours the food, you don't eat much. Oh and replaced the potatoes with chunks of celeriac.

Yum!

Gcalgske · 17/06/2015 20:34

Hissy sounds yum
I do something similar with duck legs and celeriac.
Today:

Bpc, ham bone broth
Cold ham from the broth - not very hungry
2 Debbie & Andrews sausages, mashed swede with butter, bacon & chilli

Lots of fennel tea and water

lisbapalea · 17/06/2015 20:35

Had lamb thing but some of the bits of lamb tasted really offally which put me right off! Is that normal for lamb shoulder??!

The sauce was good though, and my cauli cous cous thing.

Feel like not eating lamb for a while though....

mrswhiskers · 17/06/2015 20:41

Made the fathead pizza that someone up thread linked to a couple of days ago. wow. I think I prefer it to normal pizza. Have portioned it out in foil to eat cold for snacks.

billabye · 17/06/2015 21:01

I tried the courgetti with bolognese and was so surprised at how nice it was, not least because I don't like courgette! I think I might try it in a stir fry to replace noodles.

Gcalgske · 17/06/2015 21:17

Fathead pizza is AMAZING!

trashcanjunkie · 17/06/2015 23:19

Had tandoori mince which was a bit yuck. Shops tomorrow

Patapouf · 18/06/2015 01:13

Didn't eat enough today, even MFP told me off.

B: peperami (processed=bad I know)
L: handful of strawberries, we went fruit picking and there was nothing in their tea room that was remotely LC friendly. By the time I got home I only fancies a bit of cheese.
D: salmon with buttered leeks and spinach.

Just realised I froze a load of egg breakfast muffins that I could have taken with me

ditavonteesed · 18/06/2015 07:40

I got a whoosh, very excited, 2lbs off over night.

BIWI · 18/06/2015 07:46

Good news, dita!

I'm full of lurgy today, and didn't sleep very well. But I'm off work today as we're going to the Hyde Park festival.

Looking forward to it, and thankfully the weather is going to be good, but I know all the food options aren't going to be great - loads of street food stalls. I've looked online, but they all seem to be carby stuff.

Oooh, things are finally starting to go in the right direction on the scales. I'm having a week of strict BCL with NO booze, as this has been creeping in at weekends and in the week as well. I'm using small plates, except for lettuce etc, and am keeping the berries and yogurt to a minimum. I can't do BPC so I'm doing oily/ mayonnaisey dressings instead. I've shed a pound and a half already.

Best thing tho is that AF has arrived without the usual PMT warning! This is amazing, and if it is due to LC I can't thank you lot enough for helping me KOKO! Flowers

billabye · 18/06/2015 09:19

Aaaargh! My bathroom scales have brokenConfused
I will buy some more but it's disappointing that they won't weight the same, although in the long term I don't suppose it matters. I think I might treat myself to the ones that calculate water and fat %

HemanOrSheRa · 18/06/2015 09:23

Much excitement here this morning too! The Whoosh Fairy has been busy. I have broken the 10st barrier. Just Grin. 10st 13.5lb. Huzzah!

Gcalgske · 18/06/2015 09:32

Flowers for Biwi, get well soon.

BIWI · 18/06/2015 10:37

Bum holes BIWI that's cack.

I have decided I've either got another tummy bug or I'm developing crohns or something. Sore guts in the middle of my stomach, cramps and bloating especially after eating, and yet more bog based shenanigans plus extremely fucking tired all the bastard time.

This particular severe flare up started on Tuesday. I feel like I've barely drawn breath since the last one, and to be frank, I think it is normal to me. I'm going to start seriously monitoring my guts and write a diary. If no significant improvement b? next week, I will go to the gp and see about getting things checked.

On the plus side, after sts on Monday at 16st 13 and three quarters, I went down on Tuesday to 16st 11 and a quarter. This morning I'm exactly 16st 9 so that counts as a good old whoosh in my book!

Gcalgske · 18/06/2015 12:45

Oh no trash, maybe investigate the specific carb diet or auto immune grain free protocols? My sister has ulcerative colitis and some low carb veggies (cuciferous - so broccoli / cauliflower etc) are a big no no for her and most people with inflammatory bowel disease also dairy isn't great. Against all grain is a good recipe site/ blog. She's more paleo (so uses honey etc) but great for inspiration. Xxx

Hissy · 18/06/2015 15:30

I believe I may have lost 1lb over night - its significant as it takes me under a hideous round number kilo weight. I'm hoping the slide may continue.

Gout looks like it's on the way out, finger is decidedly less painful as are the remaining limbs.

Now all I have to do is work out what to eat going forward....

a tsp of peanut butter (whole earth, no sugar with flax seeds has just over 4% carbs) had loads of protein, but not the nasty stuff (nasty for me any way)
Hoping this is enough good carbs to work on a LCBC light/Veggie.

I am going to try to limit protein to chicken and salmon maybe once a week, the rest I hope to get from dairy and nuts (controlled quants though)

I am also going to try the BPC at the weekend and see if that can be breakfast, as it will help to keep the fat but not over do the dairy.

Hissy · 18/06/2015 15:30

Get well soon BIWI Flowers

lisbapalea · 18/06/2015 15:59

I am seriously sick of coughing. I am sure I am really pissing off my new colleagues by constantly coughing to the point of retching. Nice. Don't really think it would be great form to take time off in week one for a dr's appointment so I am really hoping this shifts over the weekend!

B - coconut yog with ff greek and berries
L - from the work canteen lots of salad leaves with tuna mayo, coleslaw, greek salad
D - will be homemade green thai curry with cauli rice

LexLoofah · 18/06/2015 18:10

BIWI hope you feel better and everyone else who is feeling poorly Flowers

B - ff greek yog, cream, blackberries, almond/flax/walnut mix
L - leftover 'breaded' pork chop, rocket, hm mayo, tiny mini pepper, avo
D - hmm have some leftover mashed cauli so might add some mashed broccoli, cream, grated cheese and black pepper for comfort in a bowl

ewanhoozami · 18/06/2015 18:14

What to eat on the warmest day of the year so far? Why not some slow-cooked pheasant and mashed swede. Yes, I've been clearing out the freezer Hmm

Hangonaminutewillyou · 18/06/2015 18:42
