Good morning!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation and delight

Glad to hear that we're getting less squishy in our clothes! I think that's a far more satisfying achievement than a number on the scales, actually.

One thing to remember as the weather seems to be warming up a little bit - finally! - don't forget to keep your water uptake up. (And remember to keep your salt levels up too)

If you are stepping on the scales this morning, I hope you're pleased with what they tell you.

Today will be:

B: streaky bacon and fried eggs, cooked in butter
L: salad leaves, chicken breast, avocado, a little cheese, lots of mayo and EV Olive Oil;
D: Pork loin, cooked in coconut butter with green beans and some butter on the beans when cooked.
S (if I need it): FF Greek Yoghurt or some Smooth Pate

Lots and lots of water.

Cardboard and dust, I think, hissy Grin

It's obviously more important for you to get your gout under control - don't worry too much about the low carbing until that's sorted. (I know that's probably hard, but you don't want to be suffering from that kind of pain for any longer, do you?)

STS which is disappointing as I started late so just into my 3rd week. I am also finding myself a bit bunged up so might investigate the flaxseed. I'm definitely drinking the water and will KOKO

half off - Am beginning to loose the will to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please advise.. on the Between bootcamp thread I lost around 7lbs, slowly steadily and was delighted - now my body thinks 167lbs or 11.13 is its happy place - its not because my head is saying happy place is 147 or 10.7 is where it wants to be.

Think what I will do is reduce the portions, I lost years ago and broke the sts barrier by eating when I was hungry only, oodles of water and, stopping the minute the hunger pangs stopped - not sure how healthy that is but for the love of my beautifully worn once size 12 dress hanging in wardrobe I need to do something.

However silver lining to the grey cloud that is "Squidgy" Plum - skin and nails look fab due to water, oily fish and avocado!
xoxo

billabye - week 3 (and 4, and sometimes even 5 Confused) is notorious for this. Just KOKO and things will get moving along again soon.

Plumstone it's still half a pound off!!! And at this stage, half a pound will be fat.

I think our bodies do have 'set' points; I definitely have weights where I seem to get stuck for no apparent reason.

However, why not list out what you've been eating and drinking over the last few days and let's see if we can spot anything obvious.

Weighed this morning. I have STS as I thought. I would like to request a visit from the whoosh fairy, please. plum can go first though Smile. Then me. Just 2lbs to take me into the next stone bracket. Ta.

HemanOrSheRa · 16/06/2015 09:25

Ooh! No I haven't - 1lb off. Still, a little whoosh for that 2lbs would be nice.

Although I'm 'stuck' at around the 11st 1lb/2lb mark I feel lighter. I've started the C25K programme again. I felt less hefty and lighter on my feet when I was out running on Sunday. Even though I'm about half a stone heavier than when I did it last time.

I made the fathead pizza yesterday and even though I forgot to add the egg to the base (!) it was so delicious and easy to make, not to mention very filling. I can't remember who recommended it on the last thread but thankyou!

I think bootcamp light is the way forward actually, with a limitation on protein from meat. Bananas have potassium - so are good for gout apparently, and Apple Cider Vinegar... and Vitamin C

A lot of the food I was eating had high sodium levels, which I think is significant.

I have just got whole food peanut butter with flaxseed, lowish carbs, and high protein. thinking a spoon of this with banana and a bit of full fat yoghurt will be my new breakfast.

I'll get there, once the pain has stopped, it'll be fine. I'm kind of fed up of food, and wish I didn't need it. can't explain it really.

Plum I'm with you on the portion thing, I'm using a small plate this week and seem to be getting to the next meal hungry but not starving so it seems to be going well.

Hissy sorry to hear about your medical news, what a bummer! I hope you manage to find a happy medium to eat your way through it. Flowers

There's a lot of dairy going on here, which could be an issue for you - and flax seeds have been something that impede weight loss for some people. Might be worth trying to cut down on these for a few days. And make sure you keep your water intake up! There's also not much veg going on, which means that you're eating a lot of protein - which can also cause an insulin spike, thus risking weight gain.

Have STS weight wise but have lost an inch off my waist so as far as I'm concerned it's working! Hopefully if I KOKO the scales will start to move. In the meantime, I'm loving the Davina 7 min fit DVD and have visions of a fitter, healthier self emerging very soon...really excited about it actually, I dont think I have ever felt more motivated and determined to change my life & body (for good!)

almost 2lb off so lost the lb I gained from emergency poorly carbs last week plus one more which is good, surprised it was anything at all as not feeling as slender tummywise as I had been, maybe too early for BC lite for me as all too easy to overdo it, Ok focus Lex

Hissy sorry about your diagnosis, hope it's not causing you too much pain. If you do decide to go down the veggie LC route (or just want to include more veggie meals) drop me a PM as I have a random spare copy of the fabulous Rose Elliot book and can pop it in the post to you.

I'm not weighing until my bastard period arrives which it's been threatening to, bloatedly, for over a week Angry

And I've eaten an embarrassing amount of peanut butter in the last couple of days.

Peri peri chicken liver salad tonight. No more PB.

Well done to all those who lost this week, some really good ones.

I stayed the same which I'm a bit down about as I had another really good week and have now lost only 1.5 pounds so this doesn't seem to work for me even though I love it.

I'll put my hands up and say I did have some wine on the weekend but I've cut down so much. There was also some balsamic vinegar on the salad I had at a restaurant (hadn't thought to check) but other than that I've been totally on plan.

I'll give it another week and watch the portion sizes and dairy.

being able to work out how many carbs you can tolerate -

Yes, I think that is what I need to work on, adjusting the plan to find out what works for me. I have tried to reduce dairy , eating more coyo as opposed to full fat yoghurt on its own and cut out the babybells snack for the past week. It's worked so far, so hopefully I can lose a few more pounds.
I'd thought I'd sabotaged myself because I've been trying to liven up breakfast a bit more, I tried to make chocolate pudding/yoghurt. Using cocoa, flaxseed/chia seeds, coconut, cream etc. Wasn't sure if I had impeded the weight loss because of the cocoa.

I'd love to take a measurement of my waist. I did when I started LCing back in April. However, someone in this house has STOLEN my tape measure Angry. Buggers.

Food for today:

B - BPC

L - Chicken in mayo, salad with oily dressing.

D - Pork belly slices, cauliflower, celeriac and swede mash (made with butter) and broccoli. I slow roasted the pork in stock, veggies and herbs then crisped them up in the oven. Made a sauce using the cooking liquor with a splash of cream and a tsp of wholegrain mustard.

S - a few pork scratchings, slice of ham and 2 spoonfuls of Alpro coconut yoghurt. I needed a snack because I went out for a RUN! 3K in 20 mins. Go me! Sausage legs be gone!

W - I stopped counting at 2l.
