The inbetween BC BC for those who didn't do as well as they should on the real BC

SayraT · 06/04/2015 18:41

Ok, some of us (me) didn't do very well on the real actual BC and some others just feel the need to have a little extra push before the next real BC so this is our inbetween BC BC Grin

I'll start, I'm currently 222 lb and want to be 217 lb by the start of the real BC (11th May). I will be recording my food daily to keep on track, I am also going to weigh daily.

Food

B: Flax wrap with butter, coffee with cream
L: M&S salad, ff yog
S: S&V peanuts (none left now so I'll have normal nuts or none at all)
D: Cauli-rice with hot smoked salmon

rough as arseholes, and carnivorous.

Made me lol.

Well, I cooked and ate the chicken and I'm still here! Not Ill or anything.

13,4 this morning.

Waves to mrss if she's lurking.

BabsUnited · 18/04/2015 07:15

Morning all. Sorelip DS also thought 5:20 was an appropriate getting up time Hmm you know things are bad when CBeebies hasn't even started ShockBlush

Wanted to get down yesterday's food:
B: not hungry for ages but had 2xcelery and pate at 11am
L: feta and pea frittata at a friends house. She made it specially as she knows I'm lcing so didn't have the heart to complain about the onion and peas. Had with big salad of leaves with olive oil and I think it had a smidge of balsamic. So not really boot camp friendly but not going to flagellate myself over it
D: smoked mackerel, 3x hard boiled eggs, few avocado scoops and a big salad with olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing.
S: half an avocado wrapped in a slice of ham. THIS IS DELICIOUS.

I thought I didn't like avocados but realised I'd only ever eaten non-ripe ones. The one I had yesterday was ripe and really tasty Star

Dumdedumdedum · 18/04/2015 08:54

Morning all! It's a beautiful day and I've lost 4lbs since Monday Grin Am not being that strict but have eaten no bread, pots, rice, chocolate or sweet things in that time. Was looking forward to smoked salmon and cream cheese for brekkie but realised the only organic stuff I can get here is sweet cured, so chose German Pepper Salami instead!

LaiLoo A lot different where you are - we checked out Cardiff Uni last year in March. Loved the city but it rained all the time. But all the time. Did I mention it rained? A lot?
When did you leave Oz? Early enough for it to make no difference to you nowadays?!
Sass Yep, 42 deg, great stuff - not a lot of people understand us, though Grin
Gcalgske Ah, Aberdeen a bit different to here! Funnily enough, I was in the oil biz before leaving London but am about 25 years out of date now so no real chance of a job, unfortunately.

Saying thank you to Sayra and BIWI and everyone else who so kindly offers advice and support here. Am actually thinking I might manage to stay with this for the long haul.. Flowers Flowers Flowers

(Whispers) It is our Silver Wedding Anniversary in May 2016 and I would like to be nearly the same weight as I was on our wedding day by then, maybe even fit into my wedding dress.. An old bat can dream.. There, I've said it in public. Maybe this will make me stick to it properly. Hmm

MrsKoala · 18/04/2015 09:04

Morning all - Slightly hung over here. Mum and dad over and i had 4 glasses of wine last night. Can't face food. May just have yogurt and berries. I'm nursing a cup of hot water and lemon.

Sass - how old are you? do you wear heels?

BabsUnited · 18/04/2015 09:08

Another lbs down since I last weighed Shock Actually can hardly believe it. Was 11st5.4 last Tuesday. Am now 10st12. 7lbs down, am 152lbs today. Will weigh in lbs from now on I think.

BabsUnited · 18/04/2015 09:09

Anyone know a good weight loss app where you can back date weight? Would like to see it on a graph but mfp won't let me backdate and harasses me to log meals

sassandfaff · 18/04/2015 09:16

I'm 40 mrsk

Im more a little heel or flats. I have a bad back and hips and I think the extra weight hasn't helped with wearing them. I think 3inches would be my limit.

I could go all night, dancing non stop in killer heels about 5 years ago. Now, I don't even want to. The thought of suffering for fashion seems a bit daft.

It's my age! Grin

sassandfaff · 18/04/2015 09:21

dum I was 7/8 months pregnant with twins July/august 2010. It was hot and I was massive.

I can't tell you how many people commented on how the heat must be killing me.

Nope.

The pregnancy was killing me, the heat was glorious. Smile

An old school friend emigrated to Australia. I see her pics on fb all the time. I have never felt more envy in my whole life.

Dp is not up for it. He wants California. I may have to give in, just so I don't end up here forever.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 18/04/2015 09:23

Sass, we had chicken yesterday that was a day out of date when i put it in the freezer, and we've been putting off eating it just in case! Grin still alive right now...

Babs, i use happy scale, you can add backdated weights to it :)

Dumdedumdedum · 18/04/2015 09:39

Eek, just checked, lost 4lbs since Tuesday, not Monday Grin Doing a happy dance Grin

MrsKoala · 18/04/2015 09:39

Sass, i'm completely with you there. I am 38 and i wear flats everyday and now a mid block heel if i want a little elevation. With my back and knees heels and pain are just not worth it. I do have a few for the nights i will be getting a taxi and sitting down or staying in the bedroom . The reason i asked is i know some shorter ladies refuse to leave the house without their 5in heels.

I love fashion but i think comfort is the priority. Form follows function for me. Things have to fit into your lifestyle otherwise you will just not wear them. I swear by clarks. Not the most stylish, but comfortable, practical and adaptable to different looks.

sassandfaff · 18/04/2015 10:03

I like rocket dog. Probably not considered fashionable. Of too young. Blush

I love ballet pumps and pumps with laces.
And sandals. I love wedges but they always seem to high for everyday use. I usually just wear some flip flops to death in the summer.

I hate toms. Jelly shoes. Gladiator sandals.

I don't mind Clark's, but my 62 yr old mum wears them a lot and I've associated them with her age. Sorry. No offence intended.

sassandfaff · 18/04/2015 10:05

Oh someone mentioned irregular choice on here a few weeks ago. Love love love.

readyforno2 · 18/04/2015 10:17

Wow this thread goes quickly.. Away to get a coffee and attempt to catch up.
Can anyone tell me if there's a way to 'mark' where you are on a thread so you can go back to it? I'm on the app, can't use the desktop site as I have forgotten my password Blush

DarkEvilMoon · 18/04/2015 10:31

You can get your password reset if you want to ready MN sends a link out to you via email. Not sure how or if it is possible to book mark on the app. Sorry

nappyaddict · 18/04/2015 10:48

Having probs with the spreadsheet. There's a grey bit with the name of the file sort of over the blue links for allowed veg and the rules etc. If I try to click the links it just takes me back to my google drive homepage.

Gcalgske · 18/04/2015 10:48

Not may jobs on the go ATM anyway dum. Confused

I love irregular choice Grin
But live in converse or wellies (country girl) and jeans / tshirt
I am envious of all the local mummy's looking swish and put together in country boots, skinny jeans/ cords and a nice tweed blazer. Practical, hard wearing but still dressy. That's what I'm aing for but refuse to buy wide calf boots or a fat tweed blazer so will invest once I'm at a reasonable size.

Gcalgske · 18/04/2015 10:48

BIWI · 18/04/2015 10:59

Unheard of before I did this woe. I love my energy!!!

trashcanjunkie · 18/04/2015 11:44

Morning ladies. I've been a bellend good and proper. Drank two thirds of a bottle of red wine last night, and fell half a litre short of water. Result, I'm up to 106 kilos. Feel like a proper tit.

Hope to god it's fluid retention due to dehydration or something. Slept terribly as a result, and feel like utter shizzle this morning. Have got two extra dogs staying, and am working as a night nanny all night tonight, but the twins I'm watching are apparently good sleepers. And I'm there with their grandma, so just as back up, and lifting help. Thing is I think she's going to cook for me. She's an amazing woman, retired human rights lawyer, and worked in her native country, somewhere in Africa, so I have no idea what it will be carb wise. Will just have to see.

On a separate note attention irregular choice lovers who can't do heels I too love their shoes, but wanted to have something like the 'flick flack' in a flat pump. So I bought a cheap pair of flats and some 'fat quarters' (quilt making bits of material) off amazon, and som Mod Podge, which is thick glue, oh and a craft knife.

These are the results, and it's really easy to do. I sewed the spats and then just glued them on. I am addicted and have made three pairs so far!

Ah yes beryl I remember we are about the same weight. Me you and sayra and there's definitely a few others Grin

I felt so epic when I got under 100. I really really mean to do that, then carry on down to 80 I think.

TheHappyCamper · 18/04/2015 12:07

I just need to share with you what I had for lunch as it has really saved me from my bread (panini) craving. Hope it can help someone else.

I made some oopsie rolls last night, which are basically cottage cheese and egg (plenty of recipes out there). They are like a cross between a pancake and a meringue. Today I lightly grilled them then topped them with a slice of ham and mature cheddar then grilled until the cheese melted. I at them with salad and LC coleslaw. Yum yum yum!

MrsKoala · 18/04/2015 12:19

They look great Trash - well done you. I keep meaning to do stuff like that but never find the time.

Sass, glad you said you didn't like Toms because i was going to suggest them as i love them. I bought a leopard print pair 2 years ago and wore them to death - they went with everything. I love Irregular CHoice too but find them crippling. At a size 8 with a royal big toe i find certain styles/shapes/makes horrendous.

Gcal - i have wide calves even when a size 10. Even in my teens i couldn't fit into most boots. I wear Gabor ones now which come up quite wide and often have a little buckle detail which can be loosened. Or i buy lace up styles which can be undone. I also found a pair of Next boots a few years ago which zipped up nicely. I recently bought some Hunter wellies in wide fit and pretty much lived in them for the whole of Feb.
