The inbetween BC BC for those who didn't do as well as they should on the real BC

SayraT · 06/04/2015 18:41

Ok, some of us (me) didn't do very well on the real actual BC and some others just feel the need to have a little extra push before the next real BC so this is our inbetween BC BC Grin

I'll start, I'm currently 222 lb and want to be 217 lb by the start of the real BC (11th May). I will be recording my food daily to keep on track, I am also going to weigh daily.

Food

B: Flax wrap with butter, coffee with cream
L: M&S salad, ff yog
S: S&V peanuts (none left now so I'll have normal nuts or none at all)
D: Cauli-rice with hot smoked salmon

dumdedum smell the chicken. if it smells ok it's fine.

thehappycamper go to river island, next, tesco or gap. their jeans are generous[ i buy a 10 (am an 11 ideally but that doesn't exist) and I am a over stone heavier than you. I am surprised at 9 stone 2 you don't wear size 10 clothes already!! What size are you in?

nappyaddict · 17/04/2015 15:54

sassandfaff have you tried bravissimo? they do all sorts of bra sizes.

nappyaddict · 17/04/2015 15:59

sorry dumdedum got mixed up who posted about chicken it was sass

TheHappyCamper · 17/04/2015 16:09

I usually buy next jeans. I get either a 12 or 14, but a 13 would be ideal. My shape is odd I think. I have a tiny top half and big thighs and hips. I would love to slim down on my bottom half only really - I guess it's mostly fat Blush

Gcalgske · 17/04/2015 16:12

Next must have a tipping point somewhere- everybody small (and by that I mean smaller than plus size so 18 and under) say they are generous but while I'm a 22 in m&s / Evans / tesco (I refuse to buy good jeans in that size) I've had to go into a 26 in Next to fasten buttons and I would never buy them because the size made me want to set fire to the changing room in a murderous rage cry.

SayraT · 17/04/2015 16:23

You can get halfway sized jeans, I've had 13s before. On phone just now but will try and find a link later. A shop near me sells 11, 13 and 15 size jeans .

Quit with the BIWI bashing. Bootcamp isn't based on a diet book or on anyone else's work, it's something that she came up with and fine tuned into an effective diet for weight loss and improved health. She has been running Bootcamp for years solely to help other people lose weight, she has a full-time job yet she is happy to devote her free time to other people. I personally owe BIWI a huge debt of thanks, without her I would still be overweight and unhealthy. I took my lumps from the big stick when I was starting out and to be honest that's what it takes. This is not a forgiving way of eating, most people need to be very strict with themselves and that isn't easy to do. We're all adults here, we should be able to take a bit of criticism, especially when it's only coming from a desire to help.

LaiLoo · 17/04/2015 16:54

Sass as your boobs are too big for some dresses have you tried Pepperberry by Bravissimo? They do standard sizes but you choose your bust/curve option. Eg. size 14 curvy, really curvy or super curvy. That way the dress/top fits perfectly over your bust.

LaiLoo · 17/04/2015 16:58

Dum know not overseas, Im in Northern Wales (Goggland as we speak Welsh here). Born in Oz though.

MrsKoala · 17/04/2015 17:09

Sass you should try Brastop I would order lots of different styles too as some styles just don't fit certain shapes even if in the right size. I am a bugger for bras as my knockers are dreadful.

Also i would say if you like wrap dresses and tops, they are often in a jersey material which can cling to all lumps and bumps. You defo need a good bra to lift and separate and also i like to smooth my silhouette with a long lycra vest. I don't bother with control underwear as i find it too restrictive. I find a spagetti strap lycra vest from primark evens out my wobbly bits (i have back boobs and flabby tummy and hips) and gives me a firmer torso.

As for where to purchase said tops/dresses well it depends on budget. I have some Diane Von Furstenberg wraps and they are gorgeous and very flattering - but pricey. I also recently picked up a lovely navy wrap dress for £25 from Beales in the sale.

Also as for flattering trousers i cannot recommend these slim fit trousers or these ones enough.

If you let me know your colours and height/shape/style i can look for some lovely things for you :)

nappyaddict · 17/04/2015 17:19

BIWI I know we can't drink normal milk but is it Ok to drink this as it is only 0.1g carbs per 100ml.

trashcanjunkie · 17/04/2015 18:25

Bloody hell, thread's going like wildfire.

I have lost five pounds this week. I'm fucking determined keep going. My aim is to start bc proper (if you think this one's strict, wait til we get going on the real deal.... I kick ass very regularly) at below the magic 100 kilos. That's where I'd gotten to last October before I had my surgery and Blush Christmas... Ahem...

Food today has been

Breakfast: a Tupperware full of salad, ham, avocado and mayo which I suspect dp made for lunch then forgot so I snarfed.

Lunch: crayfish tails and mayonnaise.

Dinner will be home made burgers from mince, and salad with feta and tomatoes.

Excercise.... About to take four dogs for a walk. Oh and I think bathing 2 fucking greyhounds very thoroughly should also count. One for cow turds, one for fox turds. Pair of cunts. That is another reason I love my chihuahua. Also rallied the troops and cleaned flat from top to bottom, sorted laundry mountain and did arse tidying such as my sewing box, which a spaniel had overturned, and sorted out the fridge, which really needed it!

BerylStreep · 17/04/2015 18:41

Wow Trash, that's a lot to have achieved!

I think we are about the same weight. I haven't weighed for a couple of weeks, but last BC I had got to 97.8kg at my lowest.

Fatstacks · 17/04/2015 18:43

Feel your pain T.C. I have poodle bitch who looks like a sweetheart but will shit roll faster than llight.
If she can get away she especially likes to roll on our bed so we can reek too Sad

babygiraffe86 · 17/04/2015 19:18

Wave to camper id say boro to Whitby is neighboury enough Smile
Thoughts with you sore another one who has also been there, 2 years ago in feb. Crazy when you realise how many people it happens to - not that it's any comfort at this time for you I'm sure.
sass well done on the new dress fittings, always a confidence booster to find something which is a flattering fit .
rather than weigh on the scaled as it's totm so I know I'll be sustaining on the weight front I decided to measure - when I started 3 weeks ago I was 31 under bust, 39 hips and 24 per Thigh.
today im 29, 37, 22! Amazed!!! Done the mumsnet bra measurements though and apparently im a 30f (no wonder my 34d isn't comfortable) shopping is required Smile

sassandfaff · 17/04/2015 19:20

Oh god mrsk I lurve you.

I will send you a big list of size and styles and take you up in your offer.

Thank you very much.

Its mad hour here at the minute with bedtime underway. Will do it in a bit. Thanks

PseudoBadger · 17/04/2015 19:30

I've just made the meatballs from BIWI's blog. There they are, all rolled up and looking at me. I've just realised I didn't season them Angry
I hope they're not ruined Sad

sassandfaff · 17/04/2015 19:55

Ok. mrsk

I am 5'3 and a half. I have broad shoulders due to being a swimmer yes ago. I am curvy and big boobs.

I have a terribly disproportionated belly after 3 c sections. I love pencil skirts but unless I am slim slim slim, they look terrible on me because of my belly, despite my shape being quite suited.

I like simple, understated stuff, no frills- daft neon stripes, zips as a statement, lopsided or whatever, are definitely not my thing.

Examples of styles I like. I will post separately now, as phone is rubbish.

sassandfaff · 17/04/2015 20:01

Black dress

sassandfaff · 17/04/2015 20:03

Blazer and jeans

Love the hat too.

LexLoofah · 17/04/2015 20:05

soremore Flowers for you, so sorry to read that

Watching the sass style makeover with interest, get so annoyed with dresses and tops that do not have sufficient space for boobs, me next MrsK!

B not v hungry but had 2 scr eggs with butter and cream, cuppa

This not hungry lark is great, I have so much more time to get things done, ran loads of errands including dentist apt who was very please with my teeth and gums so obvious benefitting from less sugar there too, I had a quick snack of half avo, hm mayo, 2 spoons ragu cold ( surprisingly nice) and some cheshire cheese ( would get Lancashire cheese if I could Sass)

Taking DCs out for dinner later so might eat with them to be sociable but not partake of the inevitable gelato after

Preminstreltension · 17/04/2015 20:05

Ok feeling better now though look shocking Shock. Huge eye bags though slept ok.

Anyway, no breakfast due to bleugh feeling. I think the butter chicken last night was too much for my liver. Does that get better over time? So for the rest of the day:

L: slices of ham and cheddar
D: salmon fried in butter with pesto plus broccoli and more butter

About 2.5l of water and more to go.

Nearly made a rookie error earlier. In cafe waiting for a meeting and spotted a really nice looking smoked trout and celeriac salad. Bought it before I realised celeriac is a root veg. So didn't actually eat it! Assume celeriac is a no for now.

sassandfaff · 17/04/2015 20:06

wrap over dress

Love the style but not the colour.

HemanOrSheRa · 17/04/2015 20:14

Wah! minstrel! Celeriac is fine and on the 'allowed list'. It makes a great spud substitute.

HemanOrSheRa · 17/04/2015 20:16

By the way minstrel are you maybe suffering from carb flu?
