Ok, some of us (me) didn't do very well on the real actual BC and some others just feel the need to have a little extra push before the next real BC so this is our inbetween BC BC Grin

I'll start, I'm currently 222 lb and want to be 217 lb by the start of the real BC (11th May). I will be recording my food daily to keep on track, I am also going to weigh daily.

Food

B: Flax wrap with butter, coffee with cream
L: M&S salad, ff yog
S: S&V peanuts (none left now so I'll have normal nuts or none at all)
D: Cauli-rice with hot smoked salmon

Can I recommend Hollandaise with Asparagus? It's delicious & very filling.

Just made the sesame crackers from the recipe thread, sorry can't remember who posted (poss Gcal?), they are genius, v tasty and melt in the mouth

beerbelly · 15/04/2015 20:56

So I have still not fallen off the wagon! I started the day with a 30 Day Shred workout then ate:

B: Crustless quiche with tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and cheese
S: Handful of berries with a spoonful of Co-Yo
L:Mackerel, avocado and full fat mayo on a salad
D: (This was bizarre) I had bought a Chinese stir fry pack from Tesco so DH had the veg with chicken, noodles and sweet and sour sauce but I stir fried the veg and chicken with some extra bean sprouts then made a sauce in the microwave of blue cheese, soft cheese and cream and poured it over - it was delicious!
S: Two little squares of 85% cocoa dark chocolate

Wish I'd flippin start losing weight, though!!!

HemanOrSheRa · 15/04/2015 21:05

Gcalgske Asparagus - the veg with hidden benefits. The only reason I go to work is so I can have a wee in peace and drink a hot drink when it's actually hot!

Gcalgske · 15/04/2015 21:27

Grin heman & sass

Lex I did my recipe for flax almond crackers with sesame seeds on top, is it them? I like the sound of sesame crackers. Is there a way to search the recipe thread I am shit with technology :/

trashcanjunkie · 15/04/2015 21:37

Hello camper welcome to the thread. Double points for reading up and an extra pat on the back for noticing the effort put into the rules and spreadsheets by our resident slaves Grin

Had steak n salad for dinner.

Dcs home. Dp amusing himself playing you tube videos to them. So far, tenacious d, tribute, which then was followed by system of a down's chop suey.

Have just sent them to bed screaming hard rock at each other...

BIWI · 15/04/2015 21:46

Late L three egg omelette

Hopefully enough water

DiscoDancer · 15/04/2015 21:55

Marking place to read later

beerbelly · 15/04/2015 22:08

BIWI - if the amount of carbs in the berries and chocolate squares only adds up to 6g, and everything else was really really low carb, am I not allowed them? I had 5 lessons of teaching today and needed a little pick me up!!

I've been very strict on myself with drinks (except the wine last weekend!), only herbal tea, black coffee and water.

Gcalgske · 15/04/2015 22:19

B: BPC
L: Italian restaurant, deep fried mozzerella with the breeding peeled off, chicken cacciatore (was just a bashed out chicken breast in a tomato sauce with mushrooms and peppers) I was assured the tomato sauce had no flour or sugar in it.
D: bacon, egg, fried cabbage in coconut oil with chilli flakes, mustard and onion seed.

Gcalgske · 15/04/2015 22:28

beerbelly I was just going to post the same as Biwi, if you are not losing weight those are the areas to look at.

You seem to be having plenty of veg which do have carbs, it could be that the berries and choc are just pushing you over the limit you can tolerate to get into ketosis properly. I can't go over 20g per day really and keep losing.

Cut them out and up your fat if you are hungry and you might start to see the scales move.

nappyaddict · 15/04/2015 23:29

Just want to check if pork shoulder casserole in a mustard and cream sauce is OK? or alternatives if not.

Gcalgske · 15/04/2015 23:35

Nappy it depends on the recipe, if for example it used lots of booze or heaps of onions then no, but if it's just pork, low carb stock, a few onions / shallots, low carb mustard and cream then yes. Can you do a carb count on your recipe?

DarkEvilMoon · 15/04/2015 23:45

Well my attempts to eat 3 meals was totally steam rollered by ds doing extra training too tired to want to cook and eat now. And he is still flipping awake. Hmm Any one fancy a non sleeping, awake several times in the night, brain challenging question throwing 10yo?

LexLoofah · 16/04/2015 02:21

gcal your almond ones sound good too, these were sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, salt and water blitzed up, I omitted the garlic as DCs going to have them (no doubt with jam) they were super easy. I think there is a way to search the thread by show all so they are on one page or something but haven't figured it out yet. One quiet lunchtime last week I trawled the whole thread and cut and pasted recipes into emails to myself so I have the recipe but not the poster but I am sure some of the ones I earmarked were yours

B spinach in lashings of butter, 2 scr eggs in butter, cuppa
L rinse and repeat from yesterday, cuppa, 5 dark choc walnuts

Not hungry again at dinner time so had a few spoons of Greek yog with cream, now having another cup of tea

trash how do you do tea with cream? I tried it but it was very bitter, guess I had better stick to herbal as having too many normal ones some days

nappyaddict · 16/04/2015 07:13

Gcalsgske no booze just diced pork shoulder, cream (1.4g/100g), mustard (that's 1.6g/10g) so not sure how much of that to use for 3 people? Veg is leeks, shallots, swede, celery. If I want to use carrots and yellow peppers how many would you recommend adding?

Dumdedumdedum · 16/04/2015 07:44

Good morning, all! I'm revving up to join the 11th May bootcamp, and I have a couple of questions. I had Coppa ham, ff Philly and a tomato for brekky this morning, is that all right?
I asked these questions on another thread but am repeating myself here as I think this thread sees more action (so to speak). Sorry for being a nuisance.
When it comes to bootcamp: Do I really have to admit to my actual weight, -which I daren't even calculate in pounds, as kilos never made sense to me even when they got to over 100-? Also, is the idea that we log everything we've eaten every day on the bootcamp thread, or do some people do it and others not? Finally, I've been looking at list of "allowed" veggies and I can't find endive/chicory. It's one of my favourite filling salads, and I thought it was really low carb, so I'd be a bit lost without it, but I can't find it anywhere. Am I missing something about it?
Thanks for your input!

Dumdedumdedum · 16/04/2015 07:46

Sorry, not got the hang of strikethroughs up there.

nappyaddict · 16/04/2015 07:52

Welcome TheHappyCamper :) that this WOE is working for you. My DP keeps doing the same look of disbelief Grin. I'm fairly short too (5 foot 3.5") How short are you?

BIWI · 16/04/2015 07:59

beerbelly

Look - if you want to see results, and you want to do Bootcamp, do Bootcamp properly!!!

You're eating and drinking stuff that's not allowed in the first two weeks of Bootcamp, and then complaining that you're not losing weight.

I wonder why that might be?

Why are you self-sabotaging?

BIWI · 16/04/2015 08:01

Dumdedum

No, you don't have to declare your weight.

You can choose not to go on the spreadsheet, or you can go on the spreadsheet and index your weight instead of putting your actual weight in, so your starting weight becomes 100, and for every pound you lose you take one off.

So if, say you were 10 stones (because that's a nice easy sum to work out!), your start point would be 100. And if in the first week you lost 4lbs, then your next weigh in would be 96.

In addition, if you prefer, MNHQ create a Weight Tracker for us, which is an individual record of your stats, which is private. This only opens for us to use when we start the next Bootcamp.

PseudoBadger · 16/04/2015 08:16

Erm what's the most generous visit anyone has ever had from the woosh fairy? My scales told me that I've lost almost a kilo overnight Confused
