They are all on the spreadsheet, Yddraig! And as of tomorrow we will have a lovely, shiny new one, courtesy of SayraT.

I'm in.

I did around 6 weeks of fairly serious low carb in August-early September. The weight came off like a dream in week one, but I stalled and eventually gave up. I've had 2 carbtastic weeks off now and need to change my ways.

Stats: 9lb 13, 5ft 2, I want to lose a stone.

FannyBurney · 28/09/2014 16:40

Are we allowed ground flaxseeds (linseeds) in the first 2 weeks?

I like mixing with beaten egg and grated cheddar, squashing out flat and baking to produce cracker-like things to dip in stuff. - this is a 'pizza base' recipe I got from MN a while ago. Thanks to whoever gave me the idea.

Also I've got some chia seeds which seem v low in carbs and are meant to be super-nutritious that I'd like to play with.

JustASimpleSpongeCake · 28/09/2014 16:47

Im going to join please. Im having a 'last supper' of Sunday Roast, with M&S salted caramel cheesecake for dessert.

Exciting stuff this...... Grin

Badvoc123 · 28/09/2014 17:10

I know my dr has flagged it as ok.
Thanks.
I will crack on.
I feel so much better low carbing...

Badvoc123 · 28/09/2014 17:29

Ok, I'm on from tomorrow :)

BIWI · 28/09/2014 18:01

Fanny - just beware that some people have reported flaxseeds as impeding their weight loss. And you really, in the first two weeks of Bootcamp, should be aiming to get the vast majority of your carbs from veg and salad - keep it to a minimum or weight till Bootcamp Light would be my advice!

BIWI -I think 10lbs in all I need to loose or maybe a stone. I am 5foot 4 and currently weigh 10st 3. I want to see how I feel around the 9stone 7lb mark. Many I want to loose fat around my middle!

Badvoc123 · 28/09/2014 18:16

I would love to lose a stone.

stardusty5 · 28/09/2014 18:20

I'm awful at remembering to post on these threads but i'm in. Good luck everyone!

BIWI · 28/09/2014 18:26

janx - at that weight/height, your BMI is 25, which counts as desirable - you may find that weight loss is not going to be as quick for you - do don't be despondent if you don't lose a stone in the first fortnight!

OP posts:
Badvoc123 · 28/09/2014 18:27

I am about 10-10.5 stone and 5.5 - my bmi is about 23 I think?

janx · 28/09/2014 18:28

Haha -not expecting that in a fortnight! Am thinking 10 weeks

janx · 28/09/2014 18:31

How do you work out your BMI?

BIWI · 28/09/2014 18:33

Or yoghurt?

ClashCityRocker · 28/09/2014 21:21

Nomlette?

ClashCityRocker · 28/09/2014 21:22

Sorry that should be omlette. I just have a couple of eggs and a chopped mushroom in it.

PseudoBadger · 28/09/2014 21:33

So tomorrow morning I will post a link to the sparklingly new and lovely Spreadsheet of Fabulousness.

If your name isn't on it (i.e. because it was written earlier today and several people have just signed up!) please just add your name at the bottom of the list. SayraT will re-alphabetize the whole thing at some point.

Hi, I'd like to sign up, if I may? I'm a bit worried about cholesterol though, it seems like a lot of fat will be involved in this WOE? Got myself very confused about "good" fats and "bad" fats. But very keen to knock sugar cravings on the head. Looking to lose half a stone.

BIWI · 28/09/2014 21:51

opalmum - you really, really, really don't need to worry about fat or cholesterol. I know it seems counter intuitive, but it's true! When I post the spreadsheet tomorrow, look at the tabs at the bottom, and you'll see one which has resources on it - make sure you have a good read of those (or watch the various videos that are posted there). If you can, get hold of a copy of "Escape the Diet Trap" by Dr John Briffa, it's a really good, well-written and easy-to-read book which will give you a real understanding of the whole thing.
