Well, finally, we reach the finish line! One more week to shout your shit.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

Hope the results are positive for you today - and that the rest of this week gives you time to drop another pound or two.

notso sorry I missed your question - the pizza was ok. Just had some leftovers today. DH pronounced it "only just edible" but then he can have the real thing! For a treaty night like yours my poison would be cajun spiced flaxseed chicken - I mix cajun spice w flaxseed, dip chicken in egg then mixture, and fry in a mixture of groundnut oil and butter. Tis to die for :)

WhooshFuckerFairy · 04/04/2014 13:39

I am soooo massively behind - but still keepin on .

I am doing a sort of Paleo version of bootcampt light ( lets face it - it sounds posher Grin - everyone at the gym says they are ' eating clean' or following a paleo lifestyle .11??? twats - so basically the same, but a few more veggies and a bit of fruit......

Its working - I am STS, which is what I plan to do until next bootcamp. and I am going to the gym as much as I can to try and pull the mad tummy overhang back in [grin}

SNap with ther wardrobe of poop trashy - I too am madly tall, but LOng tall sally is a bit too mumsy looking for me. I am going to get some new clothes for the new job - but want to wait until I have shifted the last half a stone. too tight to buy new clothes twice
am loving the nail varnish descriptions ! My nails are all ragged, perhaps it would take my mind off the pork scratchings I am trying not to eat !!

I caught myself having a debate with myself yeterday - would it be better to finish off my DD3's discarded pear half eaten that i was craving..... or have another bag of pork scratchings...... In the end I had the pork scratchings, a handful of almonds, a babybell two babybells, well, maybe 3Blush..... so perhaps - I should have just eated the wretched pear !

GOT excitement here too - can't say I will be watching at 2am - but will be desperate for a slot to watch it - NOONE tell me what happens until I am ready.......

We have decided on a Fox red Labrador ( I know what I am doing with labs and I adore +++) - funnily enough trash - I only just missed a litter in Sheffield, so that 'sleepover of mirth' could have become a reality Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 04/04/2014 13:46

Cooee all, Im back Smile

Well done everyone who is still keeping on.

Im teetering on hitting the 2st loss. Im bouncing around, 147-148lb. I cheated on Weds, and had my first naan bread since Dec. It was delicious! Steadily doing 0.5-1lb a week loss depending on Wine consumption.

Must admit I think Im wavering a little. I feel a headlong dive into choc over Easter coming. And NONE of my bloody clothes fit!

trashcanjunkie · 04/04/2014 16:18

LMD Grin
felix I am up in Newcastle, you are quite correct! I go to a guy called Allan Lowther, who's known as 'Low' - he's got an appointments only studio on Bewick Street in the town centre. He's a gnarly old punk, but I love him. His studio is called Northside Tattoos, and I think there's a walk in place in Whitley Bay.

whooshy what is all this about a 2am GOT? Huh? We haven't got sky - dp cancelled his subscription cos it NEVER worked due to a twatting tree. We've just purchased a 'now tv' box on the recommendation of a friend of his.... Hmm I really hope it's all it's cracked up to be, otherwise we'll have to continue to whore ourselves out to friends like we did for the entire series of walking dead

monkey I am going to eat an easter egg on easter sunday, my difficulty is in deciding which egg gets to grace my tongue as it were shall I go Hotel Chocolate, Lindt, or something crappy yet satisfying.... Confused I guess I'll have to choose [drool like homer emoticon]

Notsoskinnyminny · 04/04/2014 18:28

Another GOT fan here, I can't wait for Joffrey to get his comeuppance.

Ive fallen off the wagon and came home from school with a load of easter eggs, its our anniversary on Monday so I'll climb back on board on Tuesday.

LMD cajun chicken sounds delicious, I think we're going to the BBQ restaurant in WK on Monday.

Stunt I love bravissimo, the first bra I got from there was uncomfy but they changed it even though I'd washed it. For day to day I stick to the panache porcelain bras and they're really comfy although I'm still getting used to the smaller back.

whoosh, looking forward to some puppy porn.

Notsoskinnyminny · 04/04/2014 18:32

Monkey well done, really impressed with your loss, im getting back on now - don't want to undo 3 months work for a bit of chocolate didn't get any lindt

WhooshFuckerFairy · 04/04/2014 19:36

desperate for puppy porn.....

If anyone hears of a lovely male dark fox red labrador puppy....... that wasn't reserved 6 months ago... - give me a shout !

SayraT · 05/04/2014 00:11

Welcome to the new LCers Grin If you have any questions just ask, I am sure someone will be able to answer.

LMD my boobs are shrinking too, I don't like it as my tummy now looks bigger!

Trashy well done on the "lowest weight since BC" Grin thats fabulous. I've also been painting my nails a lot, currently silver with sparkly on top. I noticed on another thread that someone called you Junkie, its funny how you get used to a name and I think of you a Trash/Trashy and thought, who is this Junkie!

I'm going to end up having another carby weekend as I have my mum and her friend staying with me and mum brought food with her. Will have a nice day tomorrow as we are going for a swim lunch at a local hotel, the pool is very nice and the three course lunch is delicious. It takes us the whole day which is good because then I don't have to do too much entertaining Grin

Some of you might remember my hormonal/aggressive state at TOTM last month, this month has been better but I sent an email to the work colleagues that I work most closely with apologising in advance if I was hormonal again. They were all lovely and the foreign guy quite cute, I fancy him a bit, but don't tell the OH Grin sent me an email back saying "Do not worry, you can mistreat me as much as you like" I think he got his English confused but I Blush when I read it as I had bad thoughts!

Off to bed now, hope everyone has a good weekend.

trashcanjunkie · 05/04/2014 00:47

bloody hell! I have not seen that thread! sayra.... Link please!

trashcanjunkie · 05/04/2014 00:50

Arf, just found it on the pube thread Grin... No I don't like Junkie... it has... connotations Hmm

GatoradeMeBitch · 05/04/2014 03:12

Hey all! I've had a weird time lately. I found my first grey hairs this week, which is not age inappropriate but still a bit of a shock.

Then I lost my cat. He is an indoor cat due to traumatic history, but bolted suddenly when I put the rubbish out and was missing for two nights, I was determined not to lose him (I would never compare to losing my friend but I couldn't deal with being sad over something else) so I spent hours googling cat recovery strategies, then spent four hours from 10pm-2am sitting stockstill on my back step in dark clothing, because you stand a better chance of finding them at night, wafting a bowl of tuna around in the hopes that he would be close and catch the scent. Eventually I heard him cry around the front of the street so I was walking up and down with my bowl of tuna calling 'Hey Nikki, want some din dins?' and it paid off, I found him. Who cares if the neighbours think I'm a freak? I feel like the cat whisperer. If anyone wants some tips I'm your woman!

My eating has been crap and the weight is slowly starting to creep back. In a way, I've been a bit delusional about some of the aspects of this WOE. I think pork scratchings are vile, I can only eat eggs if I bury them in cheese and even then it's hard going, and also I don't think dairy is all that good for me. My throat has been very mucousy, sorry if TMI!

So I want to do this, but I need a few adjustments. To make up for the reduction in eggs and dairy I have to include more veggies and fruit. I'm sure it was someone on this thread who mentioned green juice smoothies? That is my favourite breakfast at the moment - spinach, romaine lettuce, celery, apple/pear and banana. And then I eat what I want, which at the moment is all sorts of crap. So I do need to climb back on the wagon. I haven't got a strategy for that yet though...

I'm very tired but intrigues by the pubes and puppy porn mentions, will be back a.m (much later a.m) to investigate

GatoradeMeBitch · 05/04/2014 03:19

Edits;

I meant diet delusional in that I was lying to myself that I loved frittata's and pork scratchings, when it's other things about the WOE I love, like the lack of cravings and appetite.

I can't honestly say I love the actual green smoothies either - but I love whizzing stuff up in the blender, that's a big part of it, and it's over quickly, I can knock it all back in 30 seconds!

And I wasn't shouting in front of my neighbours houses at 2:30am, it was more of a loud whisper, I'm not that rude, honest Wink

StuntNun · 05/04/2014 07:33

AIBU to not have a birthday cake? DH asked me what kind of cake I wanted but I haven't had cake in so long I'm really not that bothered. We will be out for dinner on my birthday anyway so people can have dessert if they want, I won't be depriving anyone.

PseudoBadger · 05/04/2014 09:22

Stunt it's my birthday today and DP has made a massive cake! I'm eating some definitely.

StuntNun · 05/04/2014 12:25

Happy birthday Pseudo! My DH is on Bootcamp light as well and DS is egg intolerant so only DS1 and DS2 would really appreciate the cake. I think I'll buy one of those mini birthday cakes and then the boys can still sing happy birthday and blow out the candles. DH and I can have a tiny piece each and DS1 and DS2 can split the rest. I'm going to be 38 on Tuesday but I'll be at my lowest weight and in the best shape since I was in my mid 20s which IMO is quite an achievement for going on 40.

StuntNun · 05/04/2014 12:26

That should be DS3 is egg intolerant.

Notsoskinnyminny · 05/04/2014 12:54

Happy Birthday Stunt and Pseudo

Whoosh sorry about the pup, we found psychopup's breeder on the kennel club site. I'd been contacting breeders for weeks and DH phoned one on a whim and her dog was due to have a litter within days and if there were 3 pups we could have one.

Gator one of our cats regularly goes awol - we joke he's gone back to visit his friends at our old house as we get phone calls to say he's been seen and he gets fed at 2 other houses that we know of but when we first moved here we'd often be seen hissing pshpshpsh outside garage doors Grin

Sayra Envy very jealous of your work eye-candy, we've only got 2 men and they're both of a certain age unlike some of the PE staff at my last school who were [insert phwoar emoticon] women of a certain age should not drool over NQTs nearly young enough to be their sons

Jesuisunepapillon · 05/04/2014 13:08

Waves hello at everyone, thanks for the welcome. Well, I lost 2lbs this week, very pleased. My friend has gone travelling till June and I really want her to notice a difference in how I look when she comes back.

Just went to the farmer's market and treated myself to some duck eggs, boar burgers (very cheap but lovely), some lovely bacon and some duck legs. There was a stall absolutely crammed with liver, hearts and other bits and pieces I wouldn't have dreamt of buying a year ago. I will be honest and say I didn't buy anything today but I have promised myself I will next time. It's so cheap and looks so good.

LittleMissDisorganized · 05/04/2014 13:13

StuntNun I read earlier and was coming back to post that would your DCs not enjoy the whole candles/ cake/ singing thing and that that was an essential part of birthdays (other peoples) for my DD. And you've said it already!
I was am a keen baker and recently invested in one of those very small, maybe 4-5", cake tins - for similar sorts of occasions. I've tried it out once for a small meeting, 5-6 attendees, perfect - I think it was cut into quarters and gone, no leftovers to sort out or overeating/ people feeling pushed into eating, etc. And it's very cute decorating in miniature. so how far away do you live?!!!-

Happy Birthday Pseudo for today, hope you have a great time and enjoy your cake. Much envy at DPs that bake cakes - brilliant for you though, hope you are spoilt and loved.

On that note, I have taken the cooking back. I may be doing a teeny bit too much but I am listening to my foot and it's saying, yes, it can manage a bit more now. Not in agony on standing for a few minutes, so I did a fairly substantial cauli and broccoli cheese (with ready chopped veg which reduces prep and therefore non-leg-elevated time) last night, and will keep using short-cuts for a while, as they really are enablers, not dis-ablers.

jesuis well done, that's a great loss. I love Farmer's Markets, our is next week and I will be mobile-ish by then. Enjoy your lovely fresh, local, healthy, food - it is good all round isn't it? I am determined to buy ox cheeks next week and I need the wonderful Crabby to come back and tell me how to cook them!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 06/04/2014 10:00

oh I'll be here to chat GOT, don't worry (though bear with me as we watch it via, um, possibly a little bit less than legal channels as no Sky in the block).

Currently lying in a single bed after the second night of hen do fun - actually haven't eaten too badly, chilli on Friday night with just salad, did have half a portion of chips at lunch yesterday plus pudding, then a couple of new potatoes last night but we had a big BBQ so the rest was meat, coleslaw, salad and a bit of cheese. HUGE amounts of booze, but all G&slimline or prosecco. So, probably not as bad as it could have been! Will maybe try and über camp for this week before we head to the land of baguette and croissant...

SayraT · 06/04/2014 10:25

Morning, just coming on to say ARGH!!!!

My mum and her friend have been staying this weekend and they are driving me insane.

"google this, google that"
"why don't you...."
"can you get...."

Thankfully they are off home today after they go to church, when they go I will have peace for an hour or so, phew!

They are not really that bad but I am so used to being myself or just with OH that I sometimes find it difficult having people to stay.

Also, I've eaten shit loads of carbs but never mind!

LittleMissDisorganized · 06/04/2014 13:21

Oh Sayra as someone who needs her space I do feel for you! I hope you can breeeeathe now, ahhhh!

Heir I think you did really well considering all the temptations there must have been, and, most importantly, did you enjoy it?

I have managed to stand unaided on the scales this morning - I have lost 4lb over the last just-over-2-weeks since my weekend away/virus/surgery period started. I know I gained at least 2lb from the weekend - but have lost that and 4lb more! Am really pleased as that takes me to 22.5lb in 12 weeks, and definitely shows the stop-start way this WOE takes weight off. Over a stone and half, woohoo!

I am so grateful to this thread and the wisdom of BIWI and others on it. This is may WOE for the longer term, I feel sure.

LittleMissDisorganized · 06/04/2014 13:25

Oh and, just calculated, my BMI has fallen from 37 to 33 Grin though still not good, I've got a long way to go, but it's really good progress

Seri77 · 06/04/2014 15:04

Hi everyone, just been catching up on he thread as been really busy for the last few days.

After the sadness of the shop window last week, I can confirm my reflection in my patio doors is much less dumpy. Thanks for all your encouraging words.

Had a sneaky weigh today, almost 4lbs up despite not eating anything out of the ordinary. On measurement however I have lost 1/4 inch off hips and feel a bit thinner. I think the scales are taunting me because I'm about to cross a stone barrier.

MrsHerculePoirot · 06/04/2014 18:00

LMD that is amazing, well done!

I know I haven't been around as much this bootcamp as I was upduffed, but for anyone that might remember me from before! I finished work to start mat leave on Thursday at 4 pm and my little boy made a rather sudden entrance via emergency section at 7.41 pm at nearly 35 weeks. He is doing well in neonatal, and I am looking forward to getting back on the bootcamp wagon next bootcamp! When I say little he was 3.51 kgs!!!!

Those of you with breastfeeding and bootcamping experience I will be picking your brains - currently expressing for him but hope to get him on the breast ASAP!
