Morning all!

Hope all who are ailing are swiftly recovered.

And hope all of those who have fallen off the wagon can climb back on with agility and aplomb.

We still have three weeks left, so a chance to get shot of another few of those pesky pounds.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and here is the link to the Weight Tracker

Good luck everyone Flowers

trashy dont be sorry.... not at all. It was just a low diary week that I was following - iam gutted for you that you gained your 4 - . I never really swear in RL- but I would just also like to have permission to say ...
"Fuck every fucking cunting bastard twat arse shit face thing"... a few times with you. quite therapeutic.
Don't feel like a twat..... it will sort itself out. Lets just keep on and stick two fingers up to the fucking whoosh fairy........ mutters " shes's a bitch"

hazchem · 24/02/2014 20:18

SpookySwitched* it's hard isn't it.

BIWI LSA is made with Linseed, sunflower, almond meal and hot water. a bowl is about 10grams of carbs. Back to eggs ect I guess.
I'm 169 cm and 100kilos! so its not that I'm close to goal.
That's interesting about not eating enough. I feel like I eat loads. My salads normally have cucumber and stuff but maybe I need to get more solid veg like courgettes, and eggplants back into my diet again.

At the moment I feel like dairy is the fun bit of my food. As I don't eat nuts ect. Maybe it's time to knock the dairy on the head. At least for a little bit.

Keep better track of how much water I have had in a day.

Hi all...Well done to all of you who have lost this week! My weight loss seems to be pretty consistent at the moment and I lost 2lb this week. This bring it to a total of 23.5lbs so Im very pleased! My next goal is the 30lb mark.
I made a brussel sprout bake tonight - fried the chopped sprouts in butter, with a small shallot, then into a dish, with double cream and cheese on top. I had it with some chicken thighs and Im stuffed now!! The cat is currently eating whats left of the sprouts (strange creature!) as I couldn't finish it.

Thanks to everyone on the thread for their motivation stories...its really made a difference :)

Southsearocks · 24/02/2014 20:51

LittleMiss - you too hey? I ended up managing my carb cravings with a few nuts and pork scratchings Grin but it's not the same as a big bowl of pasta. I'm hoping to feel well enough to go shopping tomorrow and I'll make broccoli and Stilton soup so I can just heat a mug up if I need to . I think I'm missing some of the instant hot things you can make like tinned soups and mug shots (was doing slimming world before). But I can't deny I have lost inches doing this so I will keep on keeping on.

Hope you feel better soon too Thanks

spookySwitched · 24/02/2014 21:07

I made chesterdrawers kebab tonight, it was bloody delicious. Had it with spinach and smeared sour cream, hot sauce and jalepenos over the lot.

It was bloody fantastic.
Ive also drank my body weight in water today in the hope the whoosh fairy will visit

Ruprekt · 24/02/2014 21:18

That sounds like a lovely breakfast Ruprekt. I'm getting a bit fed up of eggs and I love eggs!

L: aubergine and red pepper muffin (IPD diet book) and another square of chocolate.

D: moussaka and swede.

2 creamy coffees and not enough water.

Feeling a bit off today as lots of you are by the sounds of it!

StuntNun · 24/02/2014 21:32

First shred done. Grin Ouch.

prettybird · 24/02/2014 21:48

Good for you! Smile Level 2 is the worst one imho. I actually don't mind Level 3 too much Confused

SayraT · 24/02/2014 21:57

I need beaten with the big stick, probably more than one stick if possible.

I have no idea why but I have just eaten three mars bars, I feel sick. I have never eaten three mars bars before, I never really did binge eating I just ate too much.

I should have come and posted when I was thinking about it and I might not have. Apart from that I was good today and I have lost 1 stone, why have I done this now.

Sorry, this post is a bit "me, me, me" but I am just so annoyed with and ashamed of myself. Everyone has been saying how impressed they are that I've given up sugar and now look what I've done Sad

ChesterDrawers · 24/02/2014 22:05

Glad you liked it Spooky, I love it but haven't had it in ages. I was hunting my brain for inspiration as to what to do with the mince I got out of the freezer and it just came to me. Got enough left for lunch tomorrow too.

Yum bloody yum!

Ruprekt · 24/02/2014 22:13

I might need the kebab recipe if anyone can link to it please....Smile

holmessweetholmes · 24/02/2014 22:18

Hi all. Haven't weighed or posted for ages as I've totally fallen off the waggon. I think I may have to defect to Paleo instead as I just can't seem to stick to Bootcamp . One proper carby twat indulgence sends me off the rails totally. I totally believe that lc is good for weight loss and health, but I can't really imagine myself sticking to it long-term. I'll still carry on eating lower carb than before though. Good luck everyone!

StuntNun · 24/02/2014 22:34

Don't panic Sayra the sugar in the chocolate bars will go to replenish your glycogen stores and you'll store water along with them. Keep on LCing and the glycogen will deplete again and the water along with it. You may get carb cravings tomorrow or the day after so be prepared with some low carb snack ideas such as olives, Babybel, an ounce of nuts or pork scratchings.

SayraT · 24/02/2014 22:41

I'll try not to, why did I do it though. Its not like eating three mars bars was an old thing for me that I've gone back to I've never done anything like that before. I feel awful.

Went shopping on way home so house full of LC things, the mars bars were to give to my uncle as part of his birthday present.

Plan for food tomorrow is:

B: Coffee with cream
L: Mushroom omelette with salad
D: Chicken thighs/drumsticks with vegetables (broccoli, spinach and asparagus)

I am disappointed in myself but will try and think that tomorrow is a new day...thanks for replying stunt

GatoradeMeBitch · 24/02/2014 22:46

On Friday morning I weighed myself and had lost 16 pounds!

Then the same day I went on a long hen weekend to Brighton, I just got back home this afternoon. We went to a swanky chocolate boutique, restaurants for lunch and dinner, BK/McD at services on the way there and back...

I knew it was going to be based around food. I did hope to stick to my WOE but it fell apart on our first services stop. I've come back with a bag of chocolates and other stuff, and there's nothing in the fridge. So I'm going to take a couple of days to polish it all off, and start again. I'm going to need to make up a strict week meal plan to get back on the tracks. I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning, but I'm really nervous!

But that 16lb loss is my motivation to pick it back up again!

GatoradeMeBitch · 24/02/2014 22:47

That's 16 pounds altogether, not in one week!

StoneToGo · 24/02/2014 23:32

Hello

New here, having been persuaded by BIWI to give this another go.

Could anyone please suggest:

  • Cheap low carb food
  • Low carb vegetables
  • Low carb milk (ie is almond etc lower carb?)

Also, is there a website somewhere that gives all this information?

Many thanks.

sweetiepie1979 · 24/02/2014 23:44

Hi can I join too? Just the low carb bit though, I can't do any bootcamp, still recovering from spd in Pregnancy, 4 months ago and I've got a lose sacrollic joint. Might hire a cross trainer but better check with physio first. I began low carb today planning in doing the week induction to begin with I think I have just over 2stone to lose buy I'm afraid to weigh myself, how much can I lose In 7 weeks on this way of eating, please motivate me. Thanks

prettybird · 24/02/2014 23:53

The spreadsheet of fabulousness (link in OP) tells you which veg are more low carb.

I've swapped to full fat milk for my tea - but try and drink more rooibos as I can drink that without milk (or even have it with a teaspoon of coconut oil).

Neeps are nice and cheap - can be mashed with plenty of butter or cut into "chips" and roasted (tossed in olive oil and maybe some Parmesan). White/green cabbage makes good home made coleslaw with a carrot (plus low carb mayonnaise: Lidl do a good one, some olive oil and a dash of vinegar). Cabbage is also good sliced and microwaved with plenty of butter. Leeks are yummy thinly sliced and braised in some butter and then cream bubbled through it. Celeriac can be mashed with cream or grated to make rosti. Cauliflower and broccoli can both be roasted - with or without spices. Courgettes can be thinly sliced and then fried with some butter as a tagliatelle substitute.......

Thumbwitch · 25/02/2014 00:09

Neeps being swede, I assume prettybird? :)
I do love swede. It has been my saving grace, honestly - excellent potato substitute.

I've always used it as part of our mash (usually have 3 veg mash: potato, swede and sweet potato) so the boys aren't unused to it; and we always have mashed swede on its own on Burns Night but I'm doing it more regularly now.

Still can't get swede crisps right though - purely because I'm too impatient to wait the 2 hours that the recipe I found suggests!

Still haven't found celeriac here either :(

StoneToGo · 25/02/2014 00:57

Ah, swede - thanks for the translation prettybird.

Sammyboy12 · 25/02/2014 06:10

Pmsl....TRASHCANJUNKIE.....that's how I felt this morning !!!

Sammyboy12 · 25/02/2014 06:20

Thank you BIWI AND CAPTAIN for your advice, it's not that I don't drink enough water....I do at least get 2litres, it's just I have to plan it so that I'm near a loo ( I'm a bus driver )...I drink plenty of peppermint teas also...today I'm going to weigh all my veg, cheese...try and get a bit more fat and persevere, I'm so impressed with all the big losses...:) ....ps..how do I use the smilies ?? Lol
