Here's The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And The Weight Tracker

By now, if everyone has been following Bootcamp/Bootcamp Light rules properly then we should all be keto-adapted, and should be burning fat. Yippee!!

Hope everyone has a good week.

CrabbyWinterBottom · 11/02/2014 14:36

Must. Stop. Eating. Bloody. Crumble. Hmm

I think I fancy making the crumble tonight as I am feeling in need of a treat. As I am on my todd, I need to scale down the recipe though, so anyone know how many this will serve?

Chester I'd have to say one, based on my own experience. Blush

MrsHughJarse · 11/02/2014 14:42

Gerrythetootallgiraffeswife · 11/02/2014 14:43

Oh wow- BIWI's stick hurts. Totally deserved and necessary though. It's just difficult with 5 weeks of no cheating when the weight loss stops, especially when there are people who seem to be able to get away with cheating more than I can. I feel like stamping my feet and sulking about how unfair the whole thing is. Consider me suitably chastised, off to pour myself a glass of water and eat some butter...

GatoradeMeBitch · 11/02/2014 14:51

Ooh, I'm so going to try that berry crumble! I'm missing desserts.

I feel a bit disheartened today. 10lb weightloss, but when I was in the Top Shop fitting room I looked as big as ever Sad

GatoradeMeBitch · 11/02/2014 14:59

Is plastic cheese okay? The kind you put on burgers?

GatoradeMeBitch · 11/02/2014 15:05

I think it is ok - too late now anyway! I made burgers for lunch, used this recipe www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/11529/home-made-beef-burgers

Lovecat · 11/02/2014 15:23

Crabby :o

Mrs Hugh, yes, our dishwasher is definitely feeling the strain. I bought it a packet of dishwasher cleaner today, so will whizz that through in an effort to placate it...

I was verrry restrained this morning, the cafe I usually go and sit in while DD is at her dyslexia tutoring was closed for a refurb, so as it was pissing down I went to the only other cafe in the area, which is part of a Belgian-themed chain and specialises in amazing cake (think Pat Val but more so). I walked past all the gorgeous, amazing-looking cake with my fingers in my ears going lalalala , had a black coffee (they don't do pouring cream :( ) and a water, and then I noticed on the menu they did breakfast as well as naice cake. I had pork belly slice, fried egg, veal & pork sausage (which was interesting...) and a side order of creamy mushrooms, which I'm really hoping were not carby, they didn't seem to be and they were gorgeous. It even came with a big pile of rocket as a garnish. Woman looked at me like I was mad when I said I didn't want the brioche it was meant to come with, though....:o

notsoold · 11/02/2014 15:27

I am normally lurking in here as having a small baby and trying to type on smartphone doesn't work for me!
I joined you later and am in the middle of my third week....
My numbers are 187,183 and today 184lbs and my weigh in is on Thursday.

I am constantly reading the thread to motivate myself and getting to know a little of you all. I still don't manage to have only 3 meals per day and my portions are huge because I am tired from lack of sleep.. Still I am not gaining.

I tried removing the cheese (my downfall) but is a easy snack when LO is crying so I will keep for now, if it is ok???

And my clothes are slightly better so I am looking to that direction instead of the pound gained.

As I was too late the daat won't show on spreadsheet but it is ok....
Thank you for sharing and being together in this journey!

PseudoBadger · 11/02/2014 15:34

Welcome notsoold - how old is your baby? My dd is just 4 months and I'm 6 weeks into low carbing. The first 3 weeks or so I was eating a lot (low carb) but as I've gone into fat burning my appetite is much much less. Dd is gaining weight well so I don't thinks it's affecting my milk, but I did worry at first.

notsoold · 11/02/2014 15:38

Hi pseudo....I am one of the October mums like you!!!! I hope this to be my last diet ever!!! And answering your question... J is 16weeks ...

CrabbyWinterBottom · 11/02/2014 15:43

Someone asked about what to do with pigs' cheeks... I pasted this on an earlier thread...
The pigs' cheeks are from Waitrose and DP browned them in a pan then put them into the slow cooker with shallots, leeks, garlic and celery. He deglazed the pan with a dash of sherry, added that to the slow cooker with red wine, stock, star anise, thyme, bayleaves, salt and black pepper. He's going to cook it for about 3 hours. He'll reduce the stock down to make a sort of jus and we'll have it with swede mash. Yum!

HumphreyCobbler · 11/02/2014 15:43

hello notsoold
i have a 17 week old ds
don't know how much i have lost as i don't weigh but definitely some poundage has gone. nowhere near as much as when lc without breastfeeding though.

PseudoBadger · 11/02/2014 15:43

I knew I recognised your name! Well enjoy, I'm having a great time here :)

CrabbyWinterBottom · 11/02/2014 15:58

Welcome notso. Smile

The penny has dropped about my crumble cravings... I'm premenstrual. Had been surprised at how breasts aren't sore and I'm not feeling psychotic (that I've noticed) this month, but I'm HUNGRY! and in that wanting to eat for the taste and feeling, not proper hunger. Am feeling a bit anxious today too, so guessing I'm getting hormental.

WillieWaggledagger · 11/02/2014 16:04

crabby my appetite goes through the roof just before my period

HumphreyCobbler · 11/02/2014 16:05

I am premenstrual too. Am v annoyed about it as I could be breastfeeding any more often Hormones all over the place chez Cobbler poor DH

I find it really really hard to stick to no carbs when premenstrual, but normally this WOE eliminates that for me. So I am blaming the breastfeeding.

HumphreyCobbler · 11/02/2014 16:05

could NOT be

ElBombero · 11/02/2014 16:38

Desperate to make the crumble!!!

ToffeePenny · 11/02/2014 16:40

Only 1lb down this week and I have been 100% good as gold.
Stupid bloaty water weight grr.

Lighthousekeeping · 11/02/2014 16:51

I'm bloated like mad. I've been getting cramps all week I just wished it would hurry up and cone. I'm cooking the hairy bikers chilli and it smells divine. I'll have it later in the week with cauliflower rice. I've never been so organised in my life!

SteeleyeStan · 11/02/2014 17:06

Totally just shouting my own shit here... apologies.

I'm knackered today, still not feeling great, and have The Guilt now, because I'm getting sod all done. Had a meds review in the morning and that's been the excitement of my day. Hmm

Anyway, foods:
B: Two fried eggs, two cherry tomatoes and coffee with coconut oil.
L: Cheesy omelette.
S: Very thick and creamy hot chocolate (it's odd to find yourself liking it without any sweeteners at all, I just used cinnamon today).
D: Stupid soggy slowcooker pork. Grin

The pork is actually cooking as we speak. It's shrunk to a quarter of its raw size, while the cooker has filled itself with water. I wonder if my problem isn't so much the slow cooker, or even my own lack of skill, but cheap meat plumped up on water and nitrites?

Hope you're all fine. Chin up, eat if you're hungry, fart if you're gassy, damn them hormones, keep up the good work and so on... Blush
