Hi everyone just a quickie update.

It really has been the knackering week from knackerdom.

Mediation went ok. I challeged XP with the comments and he denied it (surprise surprise). Blustered that DS is using his imagination and coming to terms with 'families' etc. (Aye right). Anyway at least ghe knows I'm onto him.

Rest of ot went ok, just dotting i's and crossing t's etc. Except XP suggested AGAIN that DS go to school where he lives. Er, NO.

In short it was very draining..I hate spending time with him but thank good its over really.

Hope you're all ok

Janos · 30/07/2010 22:28

And thank you all for thinking of me!

Sorry bout crappy spelling and grammar goes to pot when I'm tired

ninah · 30/07/2010 23:08

well done you
glad it's over for you and went well
great news

aseriouslyblondemoment · 31/07/2010 19:58

Monty100 · 31/07/2010 21:54

Janos - well done.

Where's everyone tonight??

lou33 · 31/07/2010 22:05

here i am

with the rare treat of some vodka

we were going to go see the A Team at the cinema tomorrow but couldnt get seats that were suitable for ds2 to be able to see properly (the disabled spaces are for adults so in his chair he cant see over the back of the chair in front, so we usually go sit in the front row, but it's all full), so we are going to the science museum in london instead, which should also save some money seeing as it is free

i couldnt bloody believe the ticket prices for the cinema, nearly 50 quid ffs

dp's mum has said she will watch the puppy for us as well so she wont be alone all day (she lives in outer london area) which is great

not sure how she will get on tho, but we will take the puppy crate in case she needs it

kids are excited about it all, they have wanted to go for ages, and there is no congestion charge on sundays, and dp knows that area like the back of his hand cos of his work, so i dont have to drive

happy days

Monty100 · 31/07/2010 22:26

Lou - don't drink too much vodka tho .
Good old rip off Britain. I was reading a thread earlier and someone said £99 for Mdme Tussauds . Ffs. (They prob meant a family ticket but still).

The science museum will be packed. The South Bank is a lovely charming hour to kill, well you prob know all that. DD's will love Camden and the lock is lovely, you could catch a beer outdoors there, buzzing.

Prob speaking to the converted here .

lou33 · 31/07/2010 23:08

i know it will be but we are gonna brave it anyway

is that a good enough reason for the vodka?

tis only a small bottle and dp is drinking it too, though with red bull

Monty100 · 31/07/2010 23:26

Lol red bull
It might be ok, if you're up for it I salute you. Hope you have a lovely time.

Me and Al might be going to some show in Kent. Can't say I'm buzzing with that idea.

OP posts:
lou33 · 31/07/2010 23:44

i really loathe red bull but he drinks loads of the crap

i have oj with vodka

i expect it to be heaving, but seeing as dp will be with us, it will be less stressful as we can share children and he gets less wound up than i do, and is good at keeping me calm in times of tension lol

well thats the plan anyway

whats the kent thingy, which part?

sincitylover · 01/08/2010 15:23

Hello everyone - just got back from a week in Menorca with RL friend and her son plus my two - very nice too it was. Back too soon and spent out!!

Need to catch up back soon

Monty100 · 01/08/2010 17:50

Lou - hope you had a lovely day. I expect you'll be whacked when you get back.

SCL - glad you had a good break, it sounds lovely.

It was Lingfield that we were going, we were just down the road and I asked 'what happens at Linfield then?' Al tells me its some sort of steam engine and country fair, well, tbh I'd rather have teeth pulled, and my reaction was to sigh and roll eyes so we had a row, came home and he went off to watch the Grand Prix and do his garden. I went shopping with dd as we do .

Anyway he's in a sulk so......

I might have to crack a beer in a mo.

OP posts:
lou33 · 01/08/2010 19:28

lou33 · 01/08/2010 20:05

Monty100 · 01/08/2010 20:47

Lou - have a bacon and egg sammich. Yum.

OP posts:
lou33 · 01/08/2010 21:10

Remotew · 02/08/2010 14:12

I got back early from the festival, was meant to stay 3 nights but only stayed 2 as DD wasn't feeling well. She is fine now and guess we both felt that it's hard to stop in a 2 man tent. Was so jealous of the ones who brought big tents that you could stand up in with seperate bedrooms.

Had a great couple of days, I love the festival vibe, really chilled out. Felt a bit cheated out of the last night though.

Hope everyone else is OK. DD went to London last year to the science museum, she loves that sort of thing.

I quite fancy going camping again for a night whilst it's still summer.

aurorastargazer · 02/08/2010 14:35

hi everyone place marking again

hope you're all ok, sorry i couldn't catch up properly.

x being right pain again, now kicking off about the hols, has told me with lesss than week's notice, that he wants dd for 2 and 1/2 weeks he's supposed to give month's notice according to the court order that he asked for

Monty100 · 02/08/2010 15:43

Eve - that's a shame. Glad you had a good time tho.

Aurora - Jeeze, they're all at. Holiday season eh?

ASBM - your exh'll be getting up before he goes to bed if he surpasses himself any more! Hope you're all ok tho.
Yep, Al and his steam engines ffs. I'd rather do the laundry! He came round later last night. Not sure why. The atmosphere was, let me just say, less then tepid. lol

PMSL - dsis just txt, she arrived at holiday destination today, she was supposed to have been there last week . And she's the organised one lol. They've been sorted out tho thank goodness.

OP posts:
