Betty - lol at 'L' word. Course it did hee hee.

Sponge - glad you like the coat i feel bad now. I've been hmmm-ing and ha-ing about it still. It's almost a bit too girly for me, I can't put my finger on it.

Angel - Hi there, you're in the right place.

Eve - glad you're feeling a bit better.

Lou - hope birthday goes well.

ASBM - Is Mr ASBM round this evening?

Sparky - everything still going well?

Hi to everyone else.

Well, I had a very unsuccessful trip to the sales, far too busy and messy by the time I got there. I didn't buy anything. Probably a good thing as I am also brassick.

I keep thinking to take the coat back and get something I really love. If I'd spent that money I would have got something completely different. Dilemma.

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 28/12/2009 19:10

Ooooooooooooh I forgot to say, DN is in labour!

Betty79 · 28/12/2009 19:16

Oooh always exciting when there is a new arrival due monty

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 28/12/2009 19:17

Betty - I'm really looking forward to having a baby to cooch. lol

Angelcat666 · 28/12/2009 20:07

Little Monty hi

Great news about your DN.

Sighs

I keep getting broody and thinking about little babies and I don't even come into contact with them atm as no one I know has one. Probably a good thing

christmaseve · 28/12/2009 20:13

Monty does DN mean niece. We have got 6 weeks to go till my DN gives birth. We are so excited, something nice to look forward to in 2010. Let us know when baby arrives.

Hello and welcome to Angelcat.

Lol at Lou and L word. I'm sure she will let us know.

First time I've had my drinking head on so chilling out with some wine. Got baileys for when it runs out. Does it mix OK? Typing might get messy later if I can grab the laptop off DD.

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 28/12/2009 20:19

oooooh a baby on arrival.

i went small sales trip myself and got some bits and pieces.nothing exciting.

its not my party. but the party i'm attending... after all you "why haven't you asked"... i have asked... as i already knew... he has plans with his navy buddy who's home and has had these plans for months.... however... he asked where and when and all the detaisl.
said i'd give him a lift back out his was and then drink later on if he wanted to go but couldn't be doing with taxi's. this doesn't bother me as my party will be on till 10am.. so does me no harm to stay sober till the bells.

so it's just a case of seeing whether or not he changes his mind about his mates and decides to come to mine

but to be honest i'm not particularly fussed.... mr conventry will also be there.... i dare say i'll have someone to snog

asbm - em.. i dont think we have a thing about guessing whats going on.. i dont think either of us is terribly bothered about working out the why's and where's at the moment.

mr jack - hmmm.... some men are just crap at contact when busy... but as long as he hasn't ignored you completely then i wouldn't be bothered.

eve - agree you need to go out if you have dress

lou - i feel he's said the "l" word already too

asbm - at you and mr ASBM

angel hi, welcome

sponge - fb guy.. tosser.. i also find that rude and complete lack of nuts... how spineless is it just to ignore than reply "no"

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 28/12/2009 20:28

and all you lot commenting on the juicy/irish

hellooo... this isn't a novel.. there is no big soppy ending where he confesses undying love.

in a while.. we both realise things are still exactly the same situation as last time we broke up.... we both cry this time as there's feeling involved.. it'll hurt loads...

he's just having fun enjoying the fact he can get his leg over and i keep him company when he's bored and his mates aren't available.

there... now.. put yer hats awaaaaay

christmaseve · 28/12/2009 20:34

Juicy, take note I didn't go all starry over the juicy/irish saga.

Angelcat666 · 28/12/2009 20:38

Hi and thanks to Eve and Juice

Eve, nothing wrong with wine and baileys, although have only ever drank baileys once so can't vouch for the morning after iyswim

Juice, enjoy the party whatever happens

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 28/12/2009 20:46

Betty79 · 28/12/2009 20:52

I've invited a few of my friends and their kids round to mind as I decided i didnt want to go to my friends party.

Betty79 · 28/12/2009 20:53

Congrats Monty! great news

Angelcat666 · 28/12/2009 20:54

Congratulations

lou33 · 28/12/2009 21:04

congrats monty

lol @ you guys

no L word, just something rather sweet about wanting to be with me

and i couldnt update because i was making dinner, then he called to let me know he was on his way (or so i thought), but he was actually walking through the door into the kitchen

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 28/12/2009 21:10

Thanks

Everything seems good 7lb 5oz. Not bad for little 19yo dn!

Juice - why so negative?

I've got this to wear.

ASBM chose it. rofl

Betty79 · 28/12/2009 21:39

aww well done to ur DN that's a good size

rofl at the hat

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 28/12/2009 21:59

well done at that weight

i like the colour of your hat... but if i were to wear that i would be attacking those black bits with the scissors halfway through the night as i started getting drunk and they kept trying to poke me in the eye.

and i'm not negative. i'm just keeping feet firmly on the ground and not imagining things that aren't there.

betty - there will be plenty more chances to see mr jack i'm sure .

christmaseve · 28/12/2009 22:46

Monty, congrats to DN and her baby son. Good weight.

Look forward to updating you all on our addition to the family.

I was so drunk bored tonight I text doorman. OK so I might get another date out of it but tbh it's not worth his half hearted approach. I really shouldn't have bothered. Unless they are asking forget it.

thesouthsbelle · 28/12/2009 22:56

YAY well done DN on the little boy. and a good weight as well.

will catch up properly tomorrow been hetic today sorting out my wardrobes (not good! 3 binliners and still they're full to the max - sooo not good.... anyhow.... off to bedfordshire now so will pop in again tomorrow.)

hatesponge · 28/12/2009 23:41

monty - congrats to DN boys are the best...but I have to say that as both mine are boys!

juice - feet being on the ground is always good! Mine never are, which inevitably leads to disappointment - my friends are always asking me whether I'm doing the Bridget Jones thing (meaning the bit in the film where as soon as she gets a date with Daniel, she's envisaging their wedding...I'm not quite that bad but you get the jist) FB guy still hasnt replied, it's the lack of balls that gets me. If the positions were reversed, I'd never dream of simply ignoring them in response!

however every cloud etc - another guy from match (gorgeous but 10 years younger than me, have been emailing for a few weeks but just chat & stuff) sent me an email tonight asking me out!

electra · 29/12/2009 02:26

hatesponge - I personally don't have any time for people who don't reply - if they are that rude then they probably think it's ok to let you down within the context of a relationship. Younger guys are good - have a lot of energy

Does anyone else get irritated by men who have sex once and then need to 'rest' for about an hour or go to sleep???? I don't find that much of a turn on, haha.

Anyway, I always get myself confused because I don't really want a relationship but at the same time I get lonely by myself and not having anyone to have sex with or bounce ideas off.

I've been seeing guy 3 and not the other two because I prefer him. Guy 1 has been in touch over Christmas and I'm happy to be friends but really I couldn't see that one working out. Guy 2 is really not cool enough for me -- I am not being horrible (ok perhaps I am!!) but he drives the same car as my dad (who is 62!!)

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 29/12/2009 09:40

electra - rofl @"needing to rest".... suppose this really depends if you have an extremely high sex drive and they have already been at it for 3 hrs.. and really do need a rest.... or... if your talking 5 mins go and then he's rolled over and gone to sleep.

if its the latter than you just need to find someone less selfish... if its the former you need someone with a similar sex drive.

i think you do want a relation

thesouthsbelle · 29/12/2009 09:42

do have a nice pair of next beige cords which are new with the tag u can have. (mostly thou it's the smaller stuff i've not taken tags off of yet the other stuff i've had since splitting with X)

Betty79 · 29/12/2009 09:44

Morning all, really need to get this house sorted before new year now....who's idea was it to invite people round lol??

eve-so have u arranged to see doorman again or are you forgetting that one now?

belle-hope all those clothes werent ones with tags on(seen ur fb status lol)

sponge-good for u getting a date with man 10 years younger I'd delete bloke off fb if it were me

electra-depends how long the sex was in the 1st place lol if it was 10 mins then yeah id def be a bit irritated! anyway so tell us more about guy 3 then?
