sounds like your all having a good time.

belle - gifts sounds great.

well... just back from collecting kids and putting them to bed after they unwrapped their gifts.

i went to irish house yesterday afternoon and only just left when due to get dc... and... he made xmas dinner .. he'd gone out faced the supermarket and got the scran for doing it proper

not sure about tomorrow.. he's to be here at noon as we're eating lunchtime... but he wont get home till work till after 3am... think he's gonna sleep in!!

still not discussing whats going on with us..

but i do have one of these

aseriouslyblondemoment · 25/12/2009 20:45

Thanks for advice!! I'm not sure I can cope with guy 1's constant need of validation. Guy 3 bought me a Christmas present (perfume) - that is the only present I got from anyone. He's nice but said 'with you it's different' which sounds like a line and arouses my suspicion

Hope you all had a good Christmas!!

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 25/12/2009 21:22

electra - no1 - sounds like an arse vain...

no 2 sounds keen, why does it bother you him asking you what you are doing???... i like this as shows an interest... but i am aware if i'm kinda in early dating stages and there's more than one fella in contact that then i find it iritating as i have to lie or ignore questions as i dont want to admit i'm with another guy...??? if you were only seeing number 2... would his enquiries seem as taking interest??.. or intrusive?

number 3 - i make no comment.. exp(dcdad
).. is italian...

asbm - i'm going to continue to expect the worse for the time being aslong as we are remained friends...... and i refuse to initiate the convo to discuss what we're doing.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 25/12/2009 22:15

juicy it's soo obv to all of us on here..you don't need that convo lol

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 25/12/2009 22:23

asbm - ..... well... i'm not sure. but i think i'll come clean to the couple of other fellas i've been seeing for the odd date/text... feels the right thing to do even if we are just friends.lol

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 25/12/2009 23:04

Evening ladies and belated Happy Xmas.

LDK - stick on here, you'll get good advice. Haven't looked at your profile as my sis is ringing me back in a mo, but I will do. I must say in the day when I was looking on line Soul Mates didn't do a lot for me, all a bit serious I thought.

Juice - hee hee Have a great day tomrrow. I really hope it goes well.

ASBM - I hope your presents were reciprocated lol.

Lou - very happy days indeed. [sfmsile]

SCL - I was mopping floors today too. I was thinking .

Passmyglass - hope you managed to indulge lol.

Electra - nice of that guy to buy you perfume.

Hi everyone who isn't here - hope you had a great day.

Been a busy one today. Opened pressies first thing with Al and dcs, myself and dcs went to church, then sister's, then cemetery, (the usual drill). Al cooked the dinner. I'm tired! Nothing of much import to report really. Have a house full tomorrow. Yikes.

Lou - you going to your sis for dinner tomorrow?

lou33 · 26/12/2009 08:57

i am going for lunch, back here for dinner, mechanic is coming back then

gtg now we are nipping to kingston for something he wants, so need to make sure we are back to get my kids sorted for later

lou33 · 26/12/2009 13:16

omg he just bought me a pair of boots that cost £100 for xmas!

i love them

kdk · 26/12/2009 16:44

Am very jealous as a) need what an adult woman needs and b) desperately need new boots - in fact probably need new boots more than man ... luckily search for new boots will hopefully be easier - all I need to find now is the dosh.

lou33 · 26/12/2009 17:20

i am still wearing them, in fact i wore them to go see my sister and her family this afternoon

and she gave me a 50 quid top shop voucher and some jo malone stuff

mechanic will be here in an hour or so again too

kdk · 26/12/2009 17:32

All I've got to look forward to is yesterday's Dr Who and yet more bloody turkey leftovers .... life just can't get better! Still, saw Room on the Broom today which was surprisingly entertaining.

lou33 · 26/12/2009 17:47

dr who was wicked, i cant wait for the next bit

Betty79 · 26/12/2009 18:29

Hi ladies, hope u had a lovely xmas. I didnt manage to get on pc at mums but im home now. Have left dc's with mum for eve and am spending it with mrjack very naughty but kids wanted to stay at nanas anyway, not sure what we are doing but he should be here soon so best not be on puter for long.

hope u all have a nice evening

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 26/12/2009 21:37

well... get your hats back on shelf ladies... irish canxelled today. claiming food poisoning.. to be fair i have to trust him on this one ladies.. as any other time he's cancelled on me and it's been because he's been awkward/uncomfortable/out with lads... he is brutally honest and tells truth about why he isn't coming.

sincitylover · 26/12/2009 23:18

juicy sounds like Irish is legit.

Betty - hope you are havinga nice evening.

Lou - I bought some boots today.

Will be offline for three days from tomorrow - me and dcs are going to stay with my parents (intenet free zone) for three days. TBH I always find it a trial going there but I haven't seen them for ages.

Usually try to catch up with some mates from home while I am there.

And last night I suggested to my mum that they come down here next year and you could tell from her response that she really didn't want to.

Not much news on the man front - Mr Yorke texted me on Christmas eve and I almost weakened and sent him a Happy Xmas text back but decided it wasnt wise. itsa shame cos he blew it!

And my RL friend reckons I hurt samenames ego hence him not wanting to be friends.

I did have this weird thought on Xmas eve perhaps some of you can relate to it - we had an Indian takeaway and I thougt that when dcs were older we could actually go to the restaurant each Xmas eve but then I thought they prob wouldn't want to go with me when they were older. I suddenly had a preview of a very lonely old age. But that was just me being maudlin.

sincitylover · 26/12/2009 23:23

Oh two more things - is anyone else finding a lack of things to watch this year - don't know why I pay for Sky there is fuck all on to watch.

Mr Horticulture is still emailing and has sent me his mobile no. plus he said maybe I will take him out in the New Year. Might follow that one up but won't be until new year when I get back into the swing of things.

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 27/12/2009 09:23

scl - i find the viewing to be good after about 10pm this festive period.but to be fair i've done alot of dvd watching recently.

so what will you do with horticulture man?

something garden related?

beachbum has come over all funny on me ladies last night. says he's coming over this afternoon. but due to his poor track record its safe to assume there's only 20% chance of it happening due to the snow faling again last night..... i have agreed..... as i'm going to fill him in on my situation with irish.... no idea what to say or how to explain as i have no idea myself. so it may be a long story.

christmaseve · 27/12/2009 11:10

Sounds like everyone had a good christmas. Very Lou of your new boots. My niece and sis both had expensive ones this christmas too.

Juicy not sure what's happening with Irish, sure you will find out.

I had an OK one marred by the fact that I've had delhi belly for a few days. Cooked dinner on Christmas day. The food was lovely but you never enjoy it the same when you've slaved over it. Also people didn't turn up on time so not very relaxing.

Went to my Dsis yesterday but wasn't feeling 100% so came home at 11pm when the party was still on.

Had a couple of texts on Christmas day. One from doorman and salesman but no other contact. See if either of them bother now that christmas is out of the way.

Off work all week and now deciding what to do over new year.

lou33 · 27/12/2009 16:30

Evening ladies.

Lou - also at new boots. Good exw was ok.

Juice - Have you heard from Irish since? Wonder what did beachbum will say?

Betty - have a lovely evening with Mr Jack.

ASBM - are dcs at exh's?

Eve - hope one of them takes you out.

SCL - hope you all get spoiled rotten looked after at your dm's.

Nothing to report here, yesterday was hard work but quite enjoyable.
