My take on Irish is that he had an idyllic picture of the one, he has met the one, she doesn't fit that ideal and he's getting his head around that.

his ideal was someone without kids. i didn't want to be "settled" for so we agreed to be friends.

it's me thats piss at being friends and keeps leading him astray. normally though we pretend we're meeting as friends and know full well when we get drunk we end up sleeping together.

but... after his text about moral issues today...when we meet over xmas its more than friends.. no need to buy hats ladies. we've just agreed there will def be sex... i'm starting to wonder if something has happened over the wkd as there's definately something working on his mind.

I'm supposed to be going to work but not setting off as it's thick snow here and I won't get the car out anyway. Will ring in half an hour and see if it's OK to stay home.

Cannot get to work and we were meant to be there tomorrow morning but the've decided not to bother opening so Christmas hols have started early. Woop! 2 weeks off. Only drawback is that I might not get to the cheaper supermarket for the big shop and will have to do it at our 'Waitrose if the North'.

sorry all he turned up just after i posted last night

i made him something quick, bacon with poached eggs on toast (he likes it), then he told me he had to leave at 5am to go into work for 6 instead of 7

i told him if i had known that i would have said not to hike all the way down here, and he said thats why he didnt tell me lol

he didnt leave til about 5.40 in the end tho, coming back tonight straight after work

we were meant to go to dinner but as he doesnt know what time he will be finishing (although atm the roads are a lot quieter), we have decided to stay in and i will cook, and save dinner for when the weather improves

ds2 said to me just now its obvious the mechanic is crazy about me and really wants to be my bf, so i told him by text and he said to tell ds2 he was but to keep it quiet from me as he was trying to play it cool

ds2 thought that highly amusing and dissolved into giggles

belle - you not concerned what gb will make of the comments of sailor. i've just had a look... and to be fair.. if i was bf/gf with someone.. i'd be slightly unsettled by messages like that... but then again.. thats why i dont have access to fb/bebo of anyone i'm dating as i get carried away as its too easy to snoop. only one who has full access to mine is that bloke from coventry. and thats because he's one of the noir gang who leave really filthy remarks on my profile so he wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Juicy yes it was too soon but he started it and it was a case of we should have got together 10 years ago. I said lets not mess around then and mentioned about the other friend I ran into, but redeemed it by saying that he seemed interested in my mate.

Anyway I won't go on about him. Think its obvious from the amount I'm spilling that I am a bit smitten but will try and keep an open mind.
