why would you bin off gymboy before asking about it?

he may well just have been checking mail or hiding a profile or something, talk to him before you dump him

Juicy what's PDA?

Sparky glad you had a good time.

Hope the injured amongst you will be on the mend soon.

ASBM will check your thread later.

Guy from last night text before asking how I was, didn't say anything else about leaving abruptly, to be fair, he didn't know which room was mine.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 27/09/2009 18:00

pda = public display of affection

thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:02

wow been busy on here again today!

sparky - glad it all went well for you.

Lou - hope you're feeling better in the morning. Try not to be over doing things. agree a night with LB sounds just the tonic.

juicy - escaping? am I escaping? do you mean the weekend away? off to either brighton/bournemouth not sure just yet. and then we'll both have to work after that so will (hopefully) be stopping at his - beats mums anyhow! Yep totally back on track now, for the most part just going to trust my instincts which are screaming he's ok! WOOOO!!!!! check you out BF!!!!!

ambs - you never know had a huge row with my ex on monday - fri he was offering to help more! (he's apparently back with OW again as well - ho hum - or at least he'll see her all the time she doesn't annoy him - same old there then!) oh and fwiw until recently I had thought i'd never remarry, or move back out of this town again, and i'm slowly coming back around to the idea again. I don't think i'd rush into it, and i'd never leave myself as vulnerable as was with XH but would consider it so I think it's possible - do you have news?

eve - agree with the others no manners at all - one phrase - NEXT! lol.

scl - sorry to hear you're still feeling crappy, but deffo milk it with same name!

ninah - how long have you been with your BF/NG (not sure what you're calling him)

had a few texts today - loads yday thou, wasn't sure if to worry he's not right keen on talking when his brother's are around on the blower - but I figure I go out of the room anyhow when he rings me and i'm around my family so ho hum....Serious study needed for me tonight haven't done any all week.

notevenamousie · 27/09/2009 18:02

Hi everyone.
ninah - you sound very sad and I'm so sorry it's not working out well. I think if you'd rather stay at home than have a drink with your bf you have your answer really.
itm - am sorry you too are not as happy as it seemed you would be
lou def see your GP if this is a different pain to the one that you are used to with all that lifting. Hope your dc have somehow had a positive day and you have had some well earned peace.
eve how frustrating I thought this one sounded a bit better. I agree it's rude and I would prob not see him again. Wish you could find someone lovely.
rj he sounds great. I am so pleased you are happy. No commitment worries? Hope you can enjoy this for a lovely long time.
sparky - sounds like a great night. I am glad it's not just me that is worried about disapproval despite being an adult!
belle glad you've had some lovely mummy time.
asbm it's lovely to have you around, not nosey at all.

Well, I had a good night, though then I slept terribly because of dd being awake, don't know why, and next door's dog howling throughout the night, and phoned my aunt in tears this morning so she has looked after dd for a bit today. I need to end the commuting as it is so damaging to everything. We went out and had dinner and it was lovely to talk and see him, I am just too tired to really realise it and feel cross with myself over that. Will be in bed just after dd tonight, I need sleep.

thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:05

mousie - yeah has been lovely - ds is asking for another 'special day' again tomorrow.

How long is your current commute? would you be able to work less hours & have more in top ups?

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 27/09/2009 18:13

ninah - just seen the bit where you posted again - not sounding very positive from you at the mo. must admit the birthday thing would great on me too.do you feel a bit taken for granted?

mousie - commitment worries.... no actually. it was me who asked him "do we have official titles yet"..

... and.... not one single urge to run away...yet. but still very wary

thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:15

go with it juicy, you deserve someone good.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/09/2009 18:17

belle that is interesting to hear?!
and rj too...lol
now there's a commitmentphobe if ever i met one
pda=SERIOUS for this lady
mousie good to hear you sounding so upbeat if tired
eve-and?

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:25

i have the kids back, i said to exh about when he wanted to see them again and he said he would let me know

doesnt sound like a man keen to re establish a relationship with his kids on regular basis does it?

he muttered something about wanting to be more set up for them when he sees them next, but they managed fine today so why not next weekend for example?

despite my instincts telling me not to do it, i am considering asking him if he wants to stay here with them when i go off on friday, but i would need a lot of assurances that he isnt going to be prying into my personal stuff and the likes

i dont feel i can trust him in that respect, though i know the kids would be ok

i just wonder if i should do it to show him i am not unreasonable wrt access, and for the sake of the kids, even if i personally dont like the idea

what do you reckon, am i mad to throw him such an olive branch and should i go with my instinct?

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 27/09/2009 18:27

lou - think your back pain is turning you mad...

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:29

yeh i think so too

i could lock the most personal stuff in my little safe tho

oh it wouldnt work would it?

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 27/09/2009 18:30

nope.

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:36

i just needed to hear that from someone more rational than me atm

OP posts:
Remotew · 27/09/2009 18:36

I wouldn't do it Lou!

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:37

no you are right, i wouldnt be able to relax

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/09/2009 18:38

lou i know that you're trying to behave in a civilised fashion but you will have it thrown back in your face

thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:38

nope me neither - would spoil your weekend with LB, besides even if you did do the safe thing you'd still be worried that you'd have forgotten to put something in there or that he would try to get into it.

inthemistsoftime · 27/09/2009 18:39

evening all

I am ok at the moment, am waiting for marathon man to arrive, I have no idea what time he will arrive but I am gonna be chilled about it.

I had a great evening last night, I was out at my sister's house and boggied the the night away to a live band, I was definitely in with a chance with the lead singer

I was certainly a great confidence boost, and I was able to have a good long chat with my sis about the situation and she agrees that he does appear to have every thing his own way.

Am hoping to have a long talk with him and clear the air, what ever happens I can truthfully say he is a nice person, just a bit confused over what he wants!

I will update you in due course on the out come of our talk, although I have a sneaky suspicion he is trying to avoid the conversation so may not turn up.

Watch this space!

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:40

yes

everyone carry on reminding me

you are all quite right

the pain has affected my mind

OP posts:
thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:40

good luck misty.

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:42

good luck itm

it would affect my time with lb you are right, even aside from the fact i would have to look at his miserable face upon my return and drive him back to his

plus he may do what he used to do when we were together and dared go out, and just call and phone non stop about crap just because he wanted to ruin my night

though of course this time i could just switch off the phone, but i am persuaded not to ask him now

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/09/2009 18:43

fingers crossed itm
and yup lou think you're a bit delirious between your back pain, fatigue and wanting to do right by your dcs

thesouthsbelle · 27/09/2009 18:47

honestly don't o it - cos then even if your phone was off, you'd be worried that DC's couldn't contact you if needed.

A recipe for disaster I say.

how about making it more liveable at his house ie taking bedding/inflatable beds etc etc? tv games console.

lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:47

yes

ffs tell me to pull myself together

OP posts:
lou33 · 27/09/2009 18:49

i dont have inflatables , i bought him a microwave and left him some plates and cups for the kids, gave him a futon mattress, loaned him a duvet

he has stuff like consoles in storage i believe seeing as it was something he requested when he came took his stuff, and i am not entirely sure i would get something like that back
