itm - i can think of few relationship i've had whereby it wasn't looks that attracted me. 1 ended due to me being abroad,other because i felt i was too young to settle.
both were very good relationship. just wrong time, wrong place iykwim.treated great, respected, valued,etc,etc

if you had seen dc dad you would understand what i mean about it definately not being his looks that attracted me. it was his personality and nature. but as gambling took over his personality changed, i found him less appealing as his behaviour towards me changed.

but it is possible to have a very fulfilling relationship with someone who isn't "phwoar".

at the end of the day. we all grow old and loose our looks. what good is phwoar if your 70 yo and cant hold a conversation with your fella.
